can rom run at F2FS System?

ROM is pretty stable .
but i found one bug that is idle battery drain at night please see it
and your are the best dev. for rosy.. happy to use your builds.
And one question:- Rom will be official in future ??

I was about to report a bug but I think that was because i used a custom kernel(xcg or drona) now i reflashed with stock kernel and the trusted face menu can now open even after assigning a face.
Overall the ROM is much smoother than Havoc OS, I haven't found a single bug while using this ROM thank you so much for bringing more custom ROMs for our device????????

How is this rom(crdroid) when compared to havoc or pixel experience?

you can check out features of crdroid :- https://github.com/crdroidandroid/crdroid_features/blob/10.0/README.mkdn

Dirac Audio turns off after few seconds when you turn it on. Is this a known bug on all AOSP roms?

Just tried the ROM and it's really great!
Keep up the good work

New build is up. Clean flash recommended.

@baunilla Please become the official maintainer of crDroid for Redmi 5 #rosy.

Your crdroid build has a problem that is the lower frequency cannot be set to 652mhz. So the idle battery drain is a lot.
Can you fix it in next update .
Thanks in advance.

How is the signal drop issue in this rom?
Hey xDoge,
first of all I appreciate your work on rosy - running dotos-20190209 and really like it! But now AEX / dotOS threads are locked and you continue to bombard us with new roms - so do you plan to maintain other roms? :fingers-crossed:

I will be maintaining only ArrosOS and maybe Citrus CAF. Thanks.

LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 9.0 (Pie), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.
LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit out Gerrit Code Review. You can also view the Changelog for a full list of changes & features.

We got 4.9 kernel on santoni ? !
thanks for the rom sir.
I somehow did not install the os
I was in los pie, according to twrp wiki, they said to always format data before switching between different android version and which I did, in orangefox recovery, then I rebooted recovery. wiped system, dalvik ,cache and data, then I flashed the reloaded os file it even did show succesfull as well and then I tried to flash gapps the error showed that no os was installed. I tried to reboot to recovery to reflash the zip apparently the recovery seemed to have been broken and thus it went to boot instead.

OTA won't be possible as it is unofficial build..
New build and changelog is updated guys...
Kindly segregate the gapps from the rom as it should be better left upon user discretion!
@arthdoshi33
Concern-One more thing, while charging phone heat up a bit though nothing to be concerned about, in another rom I had tried it was relatively less.
Disclaimer- Using initial release but used w/ gapps earlier.
Comment- I am satisfied w/ the rom and it smartly balance performance and battery consumption.
Video call by default not working.
Thank You!

Ok sure...
Next update will have Gapps as well as Non-Gapps builds..
Going to test it today, first of all thanks for your work.
I only hope it's compatible with Mi Fit and Mi Band 4, all roms i've tried besides LOS are not compatible, Mi fit says it can't find the permission to access to notifications.
Edit: So I've testing this rom for a few hours now and well... this rom has surprised me for good!, it's very smooth, good battery backup, no whatsapp problems, Mi fit and fingerprint sensor works like a charm.
Just one "problem" and I don't know if it's possible to fix this, it's more a personal prefference than a tecnical issue: Safetynet check.
I can't use Pokémon Go because of the safetynet, is there a way to pass the safetynet check?

gps don't work. You have a very high-quality kernel, if you also added gpu and cpu overclocking, it would be a fairy tale

Thanks dude. You are great.
Amazing, you guys are aweome!
I wonder how did you do it with kernel version support restrictions on A12..? Mad respect..
Awesome! Thanks bro!
From the description it looks like you fixed most issues that were present in the Octavi test build. I think I'm taking this rom for a spin. I don't really care about selinux.

I installed today the version from April 12 and so far so good. No issues whatsoever. Before I was using the previous crDroid based on A11. Next week I'll post an update to let you guys know if I notice any difference between crDroid A11 and A12 in terms of battery.
Great Rom. I am using it as daily driver. Great battery back up. Still 25% left.
No problem with banking apps but I don't why it failed safety net test.

Thank you for your support. Is safety net really important? If my device failed in safety net test? Does it mean it's less secure?

But all of the banking apps are working for me. This was the main reason for me to use this Rom. I was previously using lineage os official. But On rootbeer app checker it was showing me dangerous props detected and hence my device was rooted. In fact I didn't have root or any magisk su . In this Rom everything passed successfully on rootbeer app. All banking apps are working fine.I am not using Magisk.

Yes, it works fine for most banking apps, but there are a few banks that put a check for that crap in their apps.

Yes. Some banks I agree. I don't know why. Most of the banks apps have horrible UI/Ux but they put extreme measures in app security
Crdroid v8.4 rom NFC NOT WORKING AND UNUSED
Can NFC be fixed
How Works on the Lenovo P2?
crDroid 7 and 8 seem to have about the same battery consumption. I don't notice any major difference. My charging patterns continue the same. Still uses less than 50% battery in 2 days as usual.
