Hi i just updated mine from Chinese to international by installing the beta firmware then installing the international version firmware, didn't need to do anything else.

what beta do you installed?

It could be an amateur question but I didn't find any different between device china version and global version.
from what I read in web the only diff is that the china version does not contains google services.

Hey, is it possible to flash Global ROM or China ROM on Indian Variant? I know Indian variant got 12mpx rear camera and global/china got 48mpx. But will Global ROM work on Indian version?
My redmi note 7 has PFGINXM i.e. Indian version installed. And i have not yet received latest update neither I find it on miui site. Can i flas the global rom on my Indian variant?
if you have your bootloader unlocked, you can flash the global rom
but if you flash the global rom, your system will be wiped clean.
