If you have the same model I would assume that your LGUP isn't dev patched correctly. Look up the thread on rooting and unlocking the bootloader here and download the LGUP in there. Hope that helps.

Hi everyone, I have a ZB601KL 3GB RAM that was unlocked using the official unlock tool from ASUS website.
I have updated to .337 firmware before unlocking.
However after I unlocked it, I cannot flash TWRP or any recovery.
