First full day with the Moto G Power. Much better than the Pixel 3 XL it replaced.
Here's the Moto G Power, used on a slow day filled with gaming and surfing the internet.

Here's a Pixel 3 XL getting way less screen time in a similar situation. The Pixel had the added advantage of a battery case, and still couldn't keep up.

and the Pixel. That's spike in charging is from the battery case.

Some more heavy use tests. Split screen gaming, in addition to streaming some music over 4G to a Bluetooth headset.
Still double the battery life of the Pixel 3 XL even trying to do half as much. Far more intense usage than my average, so I can't complain.
Note: Google Play Music would kill itself frequently, likely because the relatively average amount of Ram. Since I wasn't actually wearing the headset, it would take me a while to notice and restart the music.

Stupid 10+ hours

Been using it all day non stop great battery life

It's really a "battery monster"
Up to 10 hours of Sling TV over LTE

I wonder how it compares to other phones with 5000mah batteries, so we can see if the motorola hardware and software is anything special.

I play two games that seem to be CPU/GPU or battery intensive games. Marvel Puzzle Quest and Animation Throwdown. I play both daily, and the phone can still last from when I wake up until when I go to sleep. Very impressed. I tend to get about 4 to 5 hours of screen on time.
Compared to my previous phone, the GS7, it is much better. The GS7 would not be able to last through half the day with that type of usage. I would need to charge it through out the day.
I'm not sure if that's a credit to the Snapdragon 835 being more efficient or that SONY phones have less stuff running in the background. Could be both I suppose. I remember my old Z3c having better battery life than my GS7 running on the old Snapdragon 801.
Yesterday I had close to 9 hours SOT and about 10% left. I was on Wi-Fi all day and at about 50% brightness. I used Newpipe, WhatsApp, reddit is fun, and MX Player all day long, often in multiwindow mode. I never bother to use Stamina mode. The battery life on this thing is spectacular.

the battery life with this thing is amazing, I am highly surprised how much longer it lasts Vs note 3.
I had literally been watching Netflix through WiFi on my phone for at least 12 hours and at that point it still had about 12% battery.
9.5/10
This is my measurement from todays usage.
100% at 7:25 AM
Constant music for one hour with browsing on 4G. 4G remained all the time
Every 15 min, unlock to check browser/FB
80% at 11 AM
Constantly using on 4G to use FB Messenger
66% at 1:50 PM
Some calls and browsing/FB
50% at 4:27 PM
Music for one hour at full brightness
37% at 6 25 PM
All the time 4G was on nad brightness meter at around 70-75%.
Not a bad performance for a 6" display
I think it's good, too. While playing Pokemon GO at very high brightness I can still manage 4 hrs. When playing other games like Super Hexagon it's at least 5.5 hrs. I think it would be very hard to get this phone empty in less than 4 hrs.
Losing 5-10% an hour with data and mobile hotspot on. Decent, but could be better. Also facebook might be draining the battery, so I'll also test without facebook.

I work events. I bought the Mix 2s originally because I had an event coming up and needed something that could go all day and NOT necessitate carrying around a USB battery in my pockets as well. I've yet to have it die on me. Lowest it's gotten is 8-10%
Battery saver mode works excellent on this phone and despite a lack of OLED screen, I usually tie SOT power consumption to my most used app of the day neck-and-neck. Fast charge works perfect on this phone as well, usually can get from 10 to 65-80 in about 10-15 mins.

I have use this device in the same form that I have use my last device (oneplus 3T), on a heavy usage, the battery last about 7 hours, 27.4% of battery power is drained by the screen, 23.3% by PUBG mobile, 11.4% goes to Android system, 6.4% got eaten by Pokemon Go App and the rest 31.5 distributes on messaging apps, facebook, intagram, camera, and standby. I would have expected at least 9-10 hours under this usage, but that was not the case. On a standby and more light usage, I easily got to two days of battery life. Would have expected more of a the house "flagship".

i would consider myself a pretty heavy user most days. Almost always streaming via 5g on 2k resolution(yes i know its only fhd but in my head i convince myself that a 2k feed on a 1080 screen produces better quality), while using gps and bluetooth. I game a couple hours a day, and i also get into benchmark wars with friends after work leading to Antutu and geekbench Olympics.
battery life usually gets me through the day, and over 4 months, the only visible degradation in my experience has been more frequent google branded app crashes(this could also be from me being a beta tester of basically every app thats available to test). I've also noticed an ever so slightly slower app launching speeds.
battery seems as strong as day 1, and the battery health information provided via Accubattery, is showing 4970mah, but take this information with a grain of salt as there's still no 100% consensus on the accuracy of their methodology that everyone can agree on. I feel that as long as ive used accubattery that it's been accurate on all of my phones, which is why i had no problem purchasing pro version, as i think they're the best battery statistics app on the play store. GSAM is supposedly a decent one as well, but i'm familiar with accubattery.
