Looking for help Recovering a T510 (A3LSMT510) 128 GB - Samsung Galaxy Tab A series Questions & Answers

Hi, a while back, i tried following a loose guide on this forum, trying to root my Tab A T150. I cant really remember what steps i took or what my actions were but, I remember getting TWRP to run, but being unable to read the file system and also being unable to flash anything using TWRP. I then proceeded to reboot my device, only to get greeted with this screen

repeated by a shutdown loop with this screen, no matter what button combination i tried, i could not get it to display anything else. I am just looking to get back into android OS. I don't have any firmware backups but it should have been the latest firmware version.

Plug the cable into the PC but not the tablet. Turn the tablet off. While pressing both vol up and down, plug the cable into the tablet and wait for the green screen. Follow the instructions to relock the bootloader. That should reset the tablet, delete TWRP and put you back into the stock ROM.
What you probably skipped the first time around was formatting the data partition. Not wipe but format. That removes the encryption from the data partition and allows you to flash a custom ROM. You need to do that the first time it boots to TWRP.

Galaxy s4 in bootloop, just can enter to download mode

Hi guys, as i said, my girlfriend's galaxy s4 is stucked in a bootloop when she was playing farmville.
The phone is completely stock and with the last firmware.
I cannot enter into recovery, just can go to download mode, in which the phone is perfectly stable (is stable also when is charging on the pc).
I've tried almost everything and one time i was able to boot the device and enter to the home launcher, turn two pages and then bootloop.
Sometimes (two or three) the device stuck on a green screen like this:
{

"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
I've tried to:
- reflash the stock firmware with odin, i get no problems and the device PASS the installation but the problem isn't resolved.
- remove sd card
- change battery
- play with the power button
I've no idea on how to fix this, why i can enter into download mode and bootloops finish?
A big thanks to everyone.
Probably hardware failure. You can try to flash the rom with .pit file and re-partition as a last resort. If it still wont boot then, then you have hardware failure.
Thanks Lenny, but how is it possible that in download mode the phone is perfectly stable?

Here is what the Shield TV stock recovery looks like. To access it press ALT+PRINT SCREEN+i on any USB keyboard until your console reboots, then press the same keys again as soon as the Nvidia logo appears. You should see a broken Bugdroid with a "no command" message. Simply hold the tactile power button for a few seconds, until the screen pictured above appears.
To navigate touch the power button and to validate your choice hold it down.
Personally, I find the fastboot root method a bit complicated. Wouldn't be better to just use this stock recovery to flash a rooted stock image via adb ?
If anyone is willing to try, please report your success here.
Fastboot is required because you can't flash the ROM without unlocking the bootloader first. Flashing from stock recovery would require a script, which AFAIK has to go in /cache which isn't writable until the system is rooted.
So if you put the full android 5.1 on and want to go back to stock Android TV, would selecting wipe data/factory reset revert back to stock Android TV?
No, you would also have to flash the stock /system image and possibly /boot.

Samsung Galaxy S8 (SM-G950U) Flash Interrupted - HELP!

I was trying to root and mod my spare Galaxy S8 and during the process the battery died... now it is stuck on the boot screen. When it turns on it opens to the custom Samsung boot screen and does not change or boot any further. When I reboot it with the button combination it boots into upload mode. From there I must reboot again. I can still get into download mode and into android recovery mode, but have been unsuccessful at and attempts of flashing with Odin, ADB, or from the SD card. I am completely confused. Any advice will help and be greatly appreciated!

Use modded Odin with the latest firmware which is QL1.
Stop trying to root
I having a similar problem, just that it DID finished updating. Now it's stuck at boot screen even after updating it to the last version available (AQL1). I don't know what else to do....
well I gave up and finally went to Best Buy and spoke with a samsung employee.
I was able to get my phone back in 100% working order! He just used his special scan tool and flashed it the very first time. For FREE!!!!!

Remove ENGBOOT completely

I have a Samsung Galaxy S7 SM-G930V. It has installed Android 7.0. Some months ago I'd installed ENGBOOT to get root, but I want to get rid of that. The phone is too slow, WiFi doesn't work, and I have a padlock on the boot screen as shown in the picture.

I alredy flashed the stock ROM with every file (AP, BL, CP, CSC), wipe data, wipe cache. And it stills showing the padlock on boot screen and WiFi is not working. How can I definitely remove the ENGBOOT?
Try this ROM for a modified non-rooted experience. https://forum.xda-developers.com/ve...sungpay-norootrequiredtoinstallorrun-t3748755
I realize this is pretty late - but in case someone else needs this answered :
The trick to removing the padlock on newer phones / firmwares is once you flash stock via Odin and perform a factory data reset, let it boot to the system and go through the setup wizard like normal. Then boot to download mode afterwards. Once you boot back up, the padlock will be removed.

Samsung SM-T231 stuck at Samsung screen

Hi to everyone. I am new to XDA. I have a problem with Tab 4. My friend wanted to flash custom rom but he is noob about this. So I took the tablet and flashed the custom rom with TWRP. Everything went smoothly until it is stuck at Samsung Galaxy Tab4 screen. I attached the photo where it was stuck. I want to boot into recovery but sadly, home button isn’t working at all. How can I boot into recovery? Please help me ASAP. I can’t do anything to it now. Sorry for bad English.

Click to expand...
Click to collapse
The tablet is bricked. After flashing twrp, there should be a message in the top left of the screen about set warranty bit. The picture you posted is missing the yellow text. That's bad. Try putting the tablet in odin download mode by holding the home and volume down button plus power. Then press volume up when prompted. If you can get into odin download mode, reflash the proper twrp and try again.
If you can't get the tablet into odin mode, jtag recovery is the only option, a very complicated procedure.
