How about battery backup??
1. Does the ROM support exFAT?
2. Does the ROM support signature spoofing (for microG instead of gapps)?

You did not follow the rules. The inactive slot is with stock (version 9) and you're flashing Gapps without changing from the active to (now) inactive slot. To avoid further mess, read carefully and learn. This device is A/B partition squeme.

So after flashing the ROM now the recovery always changes to the inactive slot? Or is it a OrangeFox Recovery bug?

In an a/b system phone, like ours, when you boot in recovery you're in the "active" slot.
Then you flash the ROM and automatically you're moved to the (now) "inactive" slot, to keep the 1st intact and with the last system version.
If you try to flash Gapps without rebooting to what was the "inactive" (that became "active" after flashing the ROM), you're tying to flash Gapps to another slot.
Brightness slider doesn't work. Any suggestions?

The Mi Note 10 Lite (toco) has been with us for not that long but has proved to be a pretty awesome device. There is also not much development on the device as at the time of writing this article but @mauronofrio has managed to build a Test-TWRP that you can learn more about HERE. Toco launched with Android 10 out of the box which brings about dynamic partitioning which TWRP has not yet supported. The good thing is that this has not prevented us from being able to tinker with the device once you have the bootloader unlocked. I have managed to set up a GSI on my unit and I will lay out the process I followed here for any other user who want to try.

Instructions For Flashing:
1. Download GSI with Gapps (Recommended since TWRP is not fully functional)
2. Extract the compressed GSI zip to reveal the *.img file
3. Backup your important data as this process will wipe your data
4. Reboot your Mi Note 1o Lite into bootloader mode
5. Launch a command interface in the folder containing the GSI
Type the commands below in the sequence they are in (NB: Device has to be in bootloader mode)
Code:
fastboot -w
fastboot reboot fastboot
fastboot erase system
fastboot flash system nameofGSI.img
fastboot reboot bootloader
fastboot reboot
6. Set up your device after first-time boot, establish root with Magisk and apply the fixes below
GSI Fixes
1. Audio Stutter Fix
This is the first, simple and MOST RECOMMEDED method to fix Audio Stutter is to navigate to Settings > Phh Treble Settings > Misc features > and tick the "Disable audio effects" option as shown with the attached image. This method will have all the audio working including the Bluetooth Audio. I fiddled with the various options and got to this fix and thank you to @alex.msk-dev for testing to confirm this fix. 09/07/2020

Seems you have a driver issue that is why you are stuck at that waiting message. I faced a similar issue and what I did was to disable driver signature enforcement on my Windows 10 and then installing the drivers. You can also substitute the fastboot -w command with going to the stock recovery and performing a factory reset.

This ROM has integrated vantomKernel .. So you must pass the safety net by installing the magiskhide props configuration module .. then choose the Google pixel5 model .. and restart .. and you can pass the safety net without problems .. there are tutorials on youtube for Magiskhide ... just look it up and do it ...

welp i got the answer, it wasn't the latest one and now there is another version of vantom kernel.
Anyways good work.
Excellent ROM and stable on my device.
I decided to install it, as the other version of CrDroid in this thread includes Gapps pre-installed. The logic of custom ROM is to have less Google, therefore this ROM release is perfect for me.
Thanks a lot mate!

awesome rom
i tested it, smooth and clean
but i cant install any gapps, it gave me low storage error (gapps pico 117MB size)
Great! You can use litegapps magisk module (I didn't test it) or other gapps module for magisk... But for long-term solution, increase your system partition size with this guide

PROBLEMS I'VE ENCOUNTERED:
-Most Games not Working (Black Screen)
-Round Screen Corners not working
-Blur UI causing animation glitches (Fixed by disabling it)
-NFC is buggy
-SafetyNET fails
I hope you will fix it.
That's all! The ROM is buttery smooth, good battery, and the UI is amazing.

I solved the problem about SafetyNet using magiskhide, thanks.
The games not working is, mobile legends, osu!, bowmasters, etc. Many games still works though.
I'm still using this rom btw.
For those who ask what gapps to use, tru BitGapps it works fine.

What is FDE.AI????
hi
have any one problem with slow charging speed?
it takes over 3 or 4 hour to charge from 30 to 100
i have galaxy s4 and its ok with my cable and charger
It seems that FM radio stops working above Android Q. All Android Q roms I used are released with broken FM radio. And lineageOS Android R is released with almost everything broken but a functional FM radio.

Hey iusmac, thanks for getting back on this so fast. I tried flashing the rom too as well but it still says no network detected.
I have manually tried inputting APN as well doesnt work.
Any ideas to work around? Aside from this everything is perfect already

Thanks got it already data working too now on LTE.
For future reference any forumers want to try.
Reflash to Nougat, unlock bootloader again, Flash Orange Fox, and follow steps above to flash rom. So far this is breathing in new life into this phone. Thanks TS.
Added:
So far found 1 issue, I tried put in MicroSD can and once I select the 2nd option(use SD as app storage) it loads till 24% and stays in bootloop till I remove the MicroSD card.
Now whenever I try put in the microsd card it will bootloop

Flash both, order doesn't matter. These need to be flashed once after leaving MIUI or custom ROMs based on Android 10 or lower.
