Has my mi 9t hard bricked - Redmi K20 / Xiaomi Mi 9T Questions & Answers

I wrongly by mistake flashed Mi A1 rom
And then hit on system reboot in twrp recovery
Now My phone is neither rebooting not turning on nor in fastboot mode nor in twrp mode
If it is a hard brick please help me booting it :crying::crying::crying:

For real? Accidentally flashed ROM from different phone?
Probably just service with box to get it back to normal state

You mean I should go to service center?
Any fix here?!

You need to open your phone and enable EDL mode, then you will need to pay a service (20/30 euros) to unbrick your phone via your PC (using TeamViewer remote control software).
Or try to use your warranty...

You messed up, what do you expect? Warranty, edl or local service with service box - every single one is paid

Try to get help on any 9t telegram groups

[SOLVED]hard brick

I tried to flash mi 5x rom on A1 and it is in hard brick ... what to do now?
What do you mean by "hard brick", can't you boot into fastboot?
try using power + volume down
Guys, don't flash roms from other devices, the mi 5x has a single partition mode not a/b like we have, you might have overwritten the bootloader...
if you get nothing on screen try hooking it up to the PC and see under device manager if you get qualcomm 9008 mode

Do you see anything under 'ports' in device manager?
If not your device is prob done.. learn your lesson and only flash stock or other software tested by people here, never flash something for another device even if the hardware is similar

I think Mi A1 not that difficult to get hard brick. Can you still get into fastboot? That day I try to re-lock bootloader with root lol. Also got bricked, appear as Qcom_USB_hulk something like that, but luckily still manage to get into fastboot.

that's great bro, but do not be afraid to root it again
because you learn from your mistakes
i once hardbricked my Mi3 and i brought it back to life by using sim connector's method
flashing custom roms since 2012 and trust me it is fun
you just need to follow the steps carefully

Hard bricked

Hello members,
(This is my last try to save my device)
What happened?
I wanted to flash stock rom and by error I double clicked on Flash_factory in the the fastboot folder.
The device booted into fastboot and never came back. It went to edl mode (coz led was blinking) I flashed the fastboot rom but I guess in the 2nd half the Mi flash tool showed the error as TIME OUT.
In device manager, phone is detected as Qualcomm 900E so tried to install drivers (9008) after disabling signature enforcing but it showed that windows can't verify the driver.
Went to Mi service center they said it's a water damage (3 month ago it happened but the device was working fine until now) so the service center didn't do any real efforts to fix it.
What are my options! Any help will be appreciated.
P.s no edl or Fastboot.

Fastboot flashing is the safest method to flash your device. Download stock rom files from official website and flash each file separately via fastboot.

Has anyone succeeded in repairing a bricked Poco M3?

My M3 was working perfectly. I put it to restart and then it didn't turn on anymore. It is now only recognized as "Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008" on Windows. I opened the phone and with some magical combination (remove/connect flat cables from the battery and display, connect the USB cable, press volume keys and short the test points) it started in fastboot. So I was able to flash the "fastboot ROM". Unfortunately, on the next boot it still does not turn on normally. Has anyone succeeded in repairing the Poco M3? In Mi Flash is requested an authenticated account to flash through it, is it worth paying someone to provide the account? Does anyone have the contact of someone who makes cheap? Any help is welcome, thank you!

sorry, there's is no tutorial for this and it has a quite process. you just need to throttle the proc temperature of your phone board using hot blower or any device you have. while your phone is in high temp. both pin board and battery is in unplug hold vol down then put back the board pin and battery pin at the same time. it will vibrate and fastboot will be fine.
Guys this is my procedure to turn on the phone:
I can make it turn on Android after messing with the battery and sub-board cables but this is just a workahound, trying to turn it on normally through the power button always makes it turn on in edl mode
But opening the device voids the warranty, so anyone who has access to a repair center is better off asking for the warranty
What to do:
1. Disconnect the battery cable and the secondary board cable.
2. Connect charger.
3. Hold the power button.
4. Connect the secondary board cable and quickly connect the battery cable.
5. Release the power button when the device vibrates.
It doesn't always work the first time, you may need several tries to get it
