Install parrot043 version 7.00.9 then use script Anti-lag provided by developer so that night sight view finder doesn't lag. Now install 7.2 latest by parrot043. No issue at all. Only slow motion not working. Rest all good. Using it from Last 4 days without need to restart phone

I can't find the anti lag script in developer settings in camera
What name of the settings?

No dont uninstall. 7.2 will automatically install over 7.0.
Script will be there in version 7.0.0.9. select the 2 number script. That's best

Can you send the link for both files

Unable to import xml file as there is no option despite multiple attempts .
Ubale to capture image unless restart the phone.

That's how you got yours? It does not show up on the Play Store on my phone. I downloaded a lot of different versions from Google Camera from APKMirror but none of them would successfully be installed.
Is there any other camera app you guys use on Pie ROMs other than the original camera app that came with the ROMs? I'm just looking for an HDR Camera app that doesn't crash.
Open Camera .
Maybe you need to enable camera2 api in your phone. Look into it.

Thanks for trying. Did you do clean flash ? Including wiping the system partition ? Sorry for so many questions, this is my first time flashing a MIUI rom via Twrp

Does the Portrait mode for Camera works already ? I dont have it the old Camera from MIUI 9 is still the camera in this version but I suppose this should be different.

OTA
I see that AI camera is still not supported in this version. Anyways can we recieve OTA updates via the Updater app when new version arrives ?
Installed via twrp.
First boot settings in chinese, I dont even remember, how I managed to switch to English.
Nice new animations, lots of Mi stuff - all in chinese.
New options like AI and Car mode also in chinese.
Lost twrp and root, had to flash twrp via fastboot again, then Magisk.
Android Nougat 7.0
No Google stuff, have to install google from mi store and so on.
Camera doesnt have portrait mode
Tried to uninstall chinese cr.., restarted and ended in bootloop.
If you have lot of time and good nerves, go for it.

i dont think that is possible, the updater checks for update according to your mi account, if you had not applied for alpha rom tester you cant receive ota even on alpha rom
How do you install this?
I wiped: System, Data, Cache and Dalvik
Flashed
Now at boot I only see MI logo, and it's not loading android.
Downloaded 6.5.2 version for my prime.

Yeah. But there is a simple workaround. Switch to video mode and then switch back to camera mode. For now that seems to be working for me.

Did you guys perform a reset from the settings after updating? Because I did and after that the method that uses setprop to enable camera 2 API doesn't work anymore. Do you know a solution? Thanks a lot.
Set camera resolution to 9mp. Works for me on gcam version 6. As for front cam green tint need to use gcam version 5.

You just need to add camera2api line via terminal and save it that's all No need for tools or installing anything.
At the mean time almoat everything is giving green tint or Focus Issue, so I'll wait

I have tried these two lines using an adb shell from twrp without being rooted and they didn't work.
Code:
setprop persist.camera.HAL3.enabled 1
setprop persist.camera.eis.enable 1
To confirm can you tell me which lines you used?
EDIT:
I think i solved it. I went into recovery. Using adb pull and push commands i edited the persistent_properties found in /data/property. I copied and pasted a random line and changed it into the actual line to enable camera2api. Also i changed the permission of the file after pushing it using "chmod 600 [file]". Now Manual Camera Compatibility shows all green marks.

Yes this works. But compared to Arnova's V8.3b, none of the newer mods (Including Arnova's latest version - 6.xx) seems to produce crispier images as it used to do before. I agree that the older app took too long to process the images. But the reduction in quality is pretty evident. I'd still stick with the older version.

New 7 Pro Camera & Gallery Running on 6T?

I noticed earlier today that the new APKs for both the Oneplus 7 Pro Camera and the Oneplus 7 Pro Gallery apps are now available to download. The story says these APKs are compatible with all Oneplus devices running Android Pie.
I have a Oneplus 6T running Android Pie stock OOS 9.0.13. I have Camera 3.0.16 and Gallery 3.1.32 on my 6T. Is it perfectly safe to update the apps on my phone to the new Camera 3.2.91 and Gallery 3.2.7? I would sure like to hear from someone who has done this and hear all about your experiences either good or bad. Please advise me, and Thanks to all!
I will probably just backup my existing APKs to my computer, then install the new 7 Pro ones and try it out. If it doesn't work, I assume I can delete the new ones and restore. If that won't work someone please stop me! I really need my camera to work!!! Thank you
I'm on beta 10,camera is 3.2.91 & Gallery is 3.2.7

I'm installing old version because of not working Expo and Focus lock in video.

The 7 Pro has 3 cameras and the 6T only has 2. I have downloaded the files but not installed them just in case the hardware differences made camera crash.
I can install them, I just wanted to make sure I can go back if these new apks do not work on 6T.

Yes it will be replaced if the package name and signature is the same, but every developer tweak that so that you can install the same Mod GCam with different package name and signature.
In fact I had install 3 modded Gcam at once, yes 3 (idan. Xenius and ZGCam) to test and choose what better for me.
And i don't use any app, just normal install.
