hello friends... i have a question, i running cm 13 in my zenfone 2 ZE551MIL.
I have backup from my original rom in my SD card,without root, if i restore this bakcup using TWRP restore tab,can im install asus updates via OTA like a origial Lock bootloader? I intend to back to original rom for update to android 6.0 when asus launch it . Thanks!!!:good:
First things first, you posted your inquiry in the wrong forum. This is the ZenFone 2 Laser variant's forum, whereas your model falls under the general forum, ZenFone 2.
If you DID NOT UNLOCK your device USING the provided ASUS Unlock Tool, you would be able to receive OTA updates as per normal. Recovering your device from a previous backup, or from the full ROM provided on the ASUS support site would not change anything with regards to the receiving of the OTA updates for your device.
With that being said, I highly doubt so Android 6.0 would be available via OTA when it comes out. The previous ASUS phone that I owned, namely, the ZenFone 5 LTE, had to flash the update to Android 5.0 manually instead. The OTA update came out months later.
In the firmware finder it shows now b587. It also says in the chinese forums that this is a fake release to fool with hackers similar to b586 that came out 3 months ago. Has anyone tried to install b577? I have via firmware folder and it fails anyways.:crying:
The security patch after I got it booted is from december 1st 2016. Fake !! Do not bother .
afaik, the most current non-fake chinese firmware is B584

A fast way to do update to b584 is to use hrt version and then e -recovery and it installs b584
I have China version is up to date to b577 .. Just to ask you version b577 last stock version or there is anther . i keep check the update no version I get it ...
Afaik, the latest official China version for mate 8 is B577.
B584 is an alpha or beta version which is with log for developers.

The newest b587 is now a true version , and works use firmware finder and it will validate the update there is 4 versions so try till u get the proper one

Hey dude , unfortunately i don't have that version I have a rebranded dl0017 , I didn't go with version 2 thou because I added my kalifornia kenny sound mod to it and v2 only difference is viper4android.

Android Version 7.1.2 is available for our Swift 2 (Plus) devices.
I asked Wileyfox to upload the Rom for US rooted users, so we can upgrade our phone.
I will post the link immediatly after an answer!
Still no updates here, Swift 2 Plus. Probably a staged roll-out like happened with the first Nougat update.
Nothing here either, am curious to see if this one will install correctly or not after the last one needed manual effort.

i got it OTA update on Swift 2x, upgrade went fine!
I got the update (in Belgium).
One thing that wasn't working before and is now (bug reported by myself ):
- Do Not Disturb now turns off automatically when it should (before this update I had to manually disable it every morning)
EDIT:
- in landscape mode, volume buttons are now properly 'switched' as before.

So I got the pie ota about a week ago but I didn't update. It was available for a few days but now it is gone.
I'm still on October 5 version.
Phone is all stock - locked bootloader.
Anyone with the same issue? Was that supposed to be the official global rollout so everyone has it now?
Tried some googling but I can't find any similar reports.
Probably removed, had a lot of bugs. Dont worry

I have the Xiaomi Mi 9T bought in Amazon and its global version. In About the phone says: MIUI Global 10.3.11 | Estable 10.3.11.0 (PFJMIXM)
I have Google apps and everything..... and Ive been waiting for a week and I didnt get any update. I tried to use the app Downmi to download the oficial ROM manually and when I tried to update I got this msg:
"Couldn't verify. Looks like current ROM's network carrier type is different from that in the Recovery package. Please download the correct ROM from MIUI forum."
Ive been searching on Google, and most of problem is because people has the chinese version and they are trying to install the global version, but in my case is the same version...... What is happening? Someone can help me? Thank you!
You are trying to update using the Global EEA ROM. Even though it's also a Global ROM, it's from a different region, so you can't flash to it without using TWRP or Mi Flash. Either way you'll need to have an unlocked bootloader to flash it. Or just wait for the OTA to Global Mi ROM to arrive.
Does anyone know when the global stable will arrive. it said phase one 22oct to 20 oct for k20/mi 9t but i dont have it.

Im from Europe, Spain, and I bought the international version on Amazon because I thought it would be the same, even i thought it would be better the international..... and the EEA already got the update the first day 22th october and I didnt get any update.... is it normal? there is no roll out for international version? ;-/

the real shame isnt just xiaomi not updating the global version even if the EU version got the update 2 weeks ago, but that the global version never received any updates at all, not even security patches since his launch in july, not good xiaomi.
