First time installing OmniROM to your MI2, or coming from another ROM:
- Read known issues and FAQs
- Make sure you're running a proper working ClockworkMod-Recovery - WITH SELINUX SUPPORT!
- Copy GApps and OmniROM ZIPs to your SDCard
- Boot into Recovery
- Flash OmniROM zip from SDCard
- Flash GApps zip from SDCard
- DO A DATA WIPE / FACTORY RESET (otherwise your device will be stuck at boot)
- Reboot
- Don't restore system data using Titanium Backup!
Upgrading from earlier version of OmniROM:
- Copy the OmniROM ZIP to your SDCard
- Boot into Recovery
- Flash the OmniROM zip from SDCard

Hi Micha! Thank you for this wonderful work! Good job i'm loving this release! I have to report a bug regarding vibration... i haven't it at all. No vibration on phisycal button or dialer or notifications... nothing! that's not an hardware problem because on system1 it works on official cyanogen. Hope it could be resolved! Thanks again! :highfive:

I found the vibration problem and will fix it asap
btw CM is affected, too but it doesn't appear because the custom vibration settings overwrite this after some time. You may have noticed, that the vibration in CM starts working lately

the latest version yes

On omni-4.4.4-20140918-aries-NIGHTLY I still have problem with vibration, I haven't it at all.
On omni-4.4.4-20140919-aries-NIGHTLY i have only black screen ;(
Otherwise I like this ROM very much, and OmniSwitch is the great feature

I am coming from cm11 and running this rom for 3 days now. So far I am happy, for me the nightly from September 20th is stable & bugfree.
But I do have difficulties to activate hotword feature in launcher3. On omnirom.org homepage there is a video showing that feature, and there is one difference: the microphone icon doesn't show up in the search box. It does in Google Now launcher, but not in launcher3.
Any ideas?

Is there a changelog for omni? Maybe an app like bbq for cm? I cannot see anything on the omni website.

Just flashed the gapps and the play services keep crashing. The rest of the rom is working perfectly fine except the mentioned bug in the OP and hotspot isn't working either. Also how do I get the root to work? I flashed the addon su by los to enable root but that didn't work.

Its a very smooth, very fast and responding rom.
Black theme and Clock position I would like to be a way to change, no big deal though.
Rom is performing better than long time present roms out there.

I flashed the rom using redfox 8.3 new recovery, with Nano Gapps and Magisk 17.1.
NO crash, reboot, or anything similar. Rom has been installed and run as a charm.

F2fs support on kernel, if the kernel supported then you can use f2fs.

Charging with normal(no fast charge) charger and 4G data

rom is good but im facing few problems
every reboot sim card needs to be selected for data
sdcard with ext4 format shows "issue with Sandisk SDCard" "Tap to fix" error
mac address for wifi gets changed automatically.

The battery icon in the status bar does not change

I flashed it once.. But i got an issue.. When the first reboot after the flash, it shows "To continue the Android, please enter the password". Which account's password is asking about..? I tried many passwords.. but it shows "Wrong" all the time.. so i flashed the stock again..
Can u please fix it or pls say which password is asking about.. Thanks..

Issue with SD card
How to skip "How will you use this SD card?" (formatting SD before using)
I have 100gb+ used storage. Making a back up and restoring it will takes a lot of time thats why I wand to skip

Volte not working!
Clean flashed this rom from nougat version but volte is not working, tried adding ims APN setting and also tried to flash some old volte fixes, nothing worked for me :crying:

If you have a major bug to report that has not been reported already, please take the following steps to report it to us. It will save you, Team Resurrection Remix and me quite some time.
Download the MatLog app from the Play Store.
After downloading the MatLog app, go to the app settings, and change the log level to Debug.
Clear all previous logs and take the exact steps to produce the error you are receiving. As soon as you receive the error (probably a force close), go straight into MatLog and stop the log recording.
Copy and paste the entire log either to Hastebin or Pastebin
Save the log, and copy and paste the link into the thread with a brief description of the error.

It says when installing gapps that the Rom is sdk 27, 8.1. I tried with opengapps and nikkgapps

Got OTA update from last Pie stable version from updater in settings. Can I update? or needs a clean flash?

Welcome back!!! Great rom, testing 2days now...
One bug i found, when i am using 2 sim cards, when i tried to disable one of them, disable doesn't work.

Hatebin link. I am having issue with music players of any type. The systemUI crashes and restarts again. This log was generated by listening to a podcast on Google Podcasts app. @Ruturaj Kadam, I hope this might help!!

2nd sim data works on my phone - carrier, but Volte can't tell, my carrier doesn't support...

Can we take scrolling screenshot in this ROM like in MIUI ?

My phone is not booting on this rom... Do i have to wipe my internal storage also? I am using pixel experience plus Q

Not necessarily. IF it's not encrypted you can keep your internal storage. Wiping data, system, vendor and both caches is sufficient for a clean flash.

First flash rom twice and boot and in the second boot flash the gapps....
