Clock to display seconds - Moto G7 Questions & Answers

How can I get the clock to display seconds in addition to hours and minutes?

With Nova opened, long-press the home screen and choose "Widgets." There is a section for widgets created by Nova Launcher, within it an option known as "Activities." Select this option, then scroll down and tap "System UI,"
then choose "System UI demo mode" at the bottom.
Next, tap the widget to launch the menu. You will be presented with two options, "Status bar" and "Do not disturb." The former will manage which icons appear on the status bar.

Nova Launcher not working well with G2?

Any work around?

Hi,
Double tap on the notification bar area...
Below is a little app you can add to assist Nova. Install this from the link below at the Play Store, then set Nova up that a Double Tap will execute the app. You can double tap any where on the screen, you are not limited to just the Notification bar.

Double-tapping the notification bar will work. You can also install the Screen Off app from the Play Store, here. Make sure to open the Screen Off Settings and activate it. Then in Nova Settings, go to Gestures and Buttons-->Double tap, select the Apps tab, scroll down and select the Screen Off app. Knock off should work just as it used to.

double tap with novq

Hey guys ... I dont know if anyone else already posted about this, but u can use lgs double to switch off screen in nova launcher by just tapping the notification area twice.
Have fun
Yes sir, tap twice on notification bar.
I use GMD gesture swipe up on corner top work well
Download the free app "Screen off" from the Playstore and assign it as gesture in Nova settings.
If you have paid nova launcher version you can assign double tap on screen gesture to hibernate+screen lock (greenify). Works perfect for me.
Also, the double tap on status bar to lock works within every app.
I created a task and assign it on double tap

D2L with Apex Launcher + Greenify

I saw that there was a thread for double-tap to lock with Nova Launcher, but as I use Apex Launcher Pro I played around a bit to find something similar. And I succeeded.
Here is how you can get this feature back:
- go into Apex settings
- choose "Behavior setting"
- look up "Desktop double tap" under gestures
- choose "Launch shortcut"
- choose "Hibernate and lock screen"
That's it. I hope I can help with this.

App Icons Not Showing After Installation

I'm suddenly having a problem with app icons not showing after installing apps.
Running OOS and Nova launcher.
Just updated to OOS 4.5.10 and the problem persists even after several wipes of dalvik and cache.
Anyone got any idea as to how to fix it? Is it likely Nova causes this?
EDIT: Tried it with OnePlus launcher and it works fine there. Something is wrong with Nova I guess, but what.... ?
First would be to go into your Nova Settings, select "Desktop" and make sure "Add Icon to Home Screen" is enabled.
If that doesn't work, Go into your Google Play Store, swipe right from the left edge to bring up the menu, then select Settings. Make sure "Add Icon to Home Screen" is checked.

Tried stable version of Nova no problem there. After being in touch with Nova devs they confirm the issue is there and will be fixed in beta 5.

The icons showed up on screen as they should, but all icons was a green android. However, this will be fixed in next update.
