weird problem xiaomi mi9T - Redmi K20 / Xiaomi Mi 9T Questions & Answers

Hi everybody
I redid an installation of my xiaomi mi9t under miui 11.0.3 to start again on good bases because I had done a lot of trying to try to succeed in rooting it
So I relocked the bootloader and I followed the tutorial from A to Z to root the tel.
So these are the manipulations I did:
Unlock the bootloader with the miui tool
Fastboot flash recovery twrp.img
Fastboot boot twrp.img
Installation of the magisk zip.
Restart.
And then I restore my data with micloud and when I go to developer option it says that my bootloader and locked and OEM unlocking is no longer grayed out I can deactivate it when before it was not possible.
I don't know if it's the fact that I restored via micloud or that I used the xiaomi native security and cleaner app.
However my phone is well rooted and unlock bootloader because it is marked unlocked at startup and for rooting all the apps that request root rights have it.
Thank you for your answers.

Security Loophole in MI A1

I have discovered that I was easily able to unlock my device's bootloader using fastboot, even after OEM unlocking was disabled in development settings.
I want to know is it just me or is it a loophole found on all MI A1 devices, which needs to be fixed.
I have previously unlocked my bootloader and flashed TWRP recovery, but currently I am on the latest Global Stable Rom N2G47H.7.12.7 with no root or recovery installed.
You are right, I was able to unlock the bootloader and boot into TWRP.
I did reflash the official rom with wipe and lock last weekend, so the device is stock.

Need help Unlocking bootloader- install any app using TWRP -Lock bootloader to stock

Hello there,
I'm using Gcam with locked bootloader ( From a XDA thread ) . I was thinking to unlock the bootloader from command prompt - #Fastboot oem unlock. Then boot into Twrp , install such apps like radio, Dolby atmos, etc . After that Can I just lock the bootloader using- #fastboot oem lock ??? If not then please tell me process to apply my concept and after applying get back into the factory bootloader locked mode.
Note: I don't want to root my device, I want to install missing apps as like gcam method ( without rooting and restored locked bootloader)
Thanks in advance.
No, you can't. Those apps add files in system partition and you will get a bootloop if you lock the bootloader
You can install those apps without unlock bootloader only with root and magisk modules, for example

Update and ROOT X651

Hi, i have some questions about LeEco x651.
I've got the device with EUI 5.9.028S (build KGXCNFN5902710271S).
I want achieve two things:
1) install the latest official multilanguage build for the device
2) ROOT the device
I initially wanted to ROOT this build flashing magisk from a temp TWRP (using "fastboot boot twrp.img"), but this wasn't a good idea. After I unlocked the bootloader using the "fastboot oem unlock" command (debug usb enabled, oem unlock enabled) i lost the baseband (and the IMEIs). I panicked a little, but fortunatly everything fixed itself after I re-locked the bootloader ("fastboot oem lock") without doing anything else, so I never booted in TWRP or flashed Magisk.
Can someone explain me why unlocking the bootloader made me lose the baseband? I never had a really "chinese" android phone (the most "chinese" phone I ever had was a Xiaomi Mi A1) but I have unlocked many bootloader and never had this problem. And can someone help me to update the phone to the latest build and ROOT it? I'm downloading this ROM (http://bug.letv.com/cn/download/phone/78) right now, but the download is very slow and I don't know if the ROM is multilanguage (I need italian language because the phone is a gift to my little sister).
Thanks.

n00b hardbricked Moto G7 pretty bad

Hi guys,
I did something pretty silly yesterday while trying to unroot my phone.
First I uninstalled magisk
Then I disabled unlock OEM from developer options
Then from fastboot I did: fastboot oem lock
And then I restarted without flashing the stock rom...
The result is that I now have a locked bootloader, that does not boot to the ROM because previously rooted (it says device is corrupted), and I am unable to unlock to the bootloader because it is not enabled in the developer options.
I have no clue what to do... I can't flash anything because the bootloader is locked but I can't unlock the bootloader because the device wont boot...
Have I managed to reach the ultimate brick state ??? Please gib help.
nevermind boys I did a factory reset from the bootloader, and I started booting afterwards...funny because it did not work before, maybe it's because I attempted a rescue with the Lenovo smart assistant...dunno

Xiaomi redmi 2 unlocking problem

Hey guys !!!
I've got a xiaomi redmi 2 4g global version , and unfortunately seems like it's bricked and stuck on mi logo.
As unlocking bootloader is a prior term before flashing anything on it, I tried to unlock it n went through all steps of creating mi account and permissions. Tried latest version mi unlock tool but it keeps saying" Device basic data vertification failed. This Device could not be unlocked" what's that mean????
Is there any other way to unlock it and flash a new rom???
I have to mention I can enter recovery or even fastboot mode with no problem, though there is a very small issue I suppose, when I try to wipe user_data through recovery mode it says "Data wipe failed" and wiping cache still works fine..... Is that a problem????
Thanks in advance
No need to unlock this , just flash twrp
Redmi 2 is those old devices without locked bootloaders, just flash TWRP with:
Code:
adb reboot fastboot
fastboot flash recovery <twrp location>
