Got mine Thursday!
I opted for the case and skin.
Got my case and skin the other day. Installed the skin like the installation video showed and it looked good. Two days later the skin developed several bubbles that I can't get rid of. Not terribly impressed right now. I sent email to Dbrand and will wait and see if they can help me.
Maybe try to heat it up lift it up carefully and reapply. Then reapply heat and smooth it down once more
Dbrand has been really great. I explained my problem with the bubbles forming and they suggested a couple possible remedies. When the suggestions failed to correct the problem they sent me a replacement skin. No hassles no grief they just stepped up and helped me out. I'm impressed. Thanks Dbrand.

Yeah it sucks. I have insurance, but i'm guessing because the phone is so new, I made a claim but I have to fax them information and do all this extra stuff. I never had to do this when I made a claim with the TP2.
Ouch, I'm known to do that sometimes leave me phone on my lap and get up out the car. Luckily I normally have some full body protection and a screen guard on my phone.
Looks like it still works though.
yeah I have a screen protector coming, will get here today (a bit too late lol). I am looking for a case, im picky when it comes to those. Not much out right now other than a limited ebay picking and the one from verizon. Which I just now found out they make in a clear color, looks like I will have one for my replacement...
I have the body glove and zagg screen, and as sad as this is to say I have actually drooped mine twice and you can't even tell. It still looks fresh outta the box. Good luck with the replacement to from what I've heard VZW is still sold out.

I bought the silicone cover from Verizon, I have not dropped my phone yet hopefully it protects the phone if I drop it.
Hopefully Otterbox will make one for this phone like the one for the iphone.

Well i completed the claims and it already gave me a tracking number and guaranteed my replacement will be here on the 7th.

It's all about personal preference, it is rare, it should be kept and not used due to rarity, now, if your looking for just the red back door, take yours off, and paint it.

Well, I unbranded my atrix using the penny method and have now "re-branded" it with an android sticker. I actually ordered 2 because I wasn't sure of fitment for one. I tried the larger one first and it probably would have fit, had I not been stupid:

I already had it on very well before I realized it overlapped the camera section... So, I removed that and replaced it with this:
It's hard to capture the color accurately in a picture, but the first one seems to be a bit closer to me. I think I liked the first one better, had I not messed it up. I may end up ordering another offset version, but going to wait to see what more protective (sticker type) covers come out for the atrix first. Considering how cheap it was, I don't really care too much that the first one didn't work out or that I might end up taking the second one off soon anyways.

I might try that if I decide to order another.... kind of a waste of money to keep ordering them, but they're cheap enough that I might as well give it a try and it'll be easier to switch if I find myself dissatisfied with the look. Can always stick the extra on something else if I want.

I'm probably going to end up going with something different... just waiting till there are more options. Not really interested in a case though. Pretty much waiting for the "skins" type options to come out. They offer basic scratch protection but that's about it, it seems.
Emailed them with an idea and they're looking into it... might have something a bit cooler if it pans out.

x2 Picked one up at radioshack for like $18
So... I don't know why this is happening, but one thing I am noticing from numerous review or information sites is that some are mentioning the metallic grey backing being, well, metal. Therefore, sacrificing a tiny bit of weight for feel and sturdiness.
Is this true? If so, anyone know the difference in weight? I don't mind a little extra heft for more peace of mind.

Looking at the way the light plays on the grain of the wood, and the cutout at the camera, I would say its applied to the case. Willing to be proven wrong though. And the corner cuts on a ringke slim extend further into the case, do they not?

You're correct, I looked at it and assumed the white was the silver of the X n the Nexus logo because my brightness on my phone was rather low. That application looks great for or being in a case.
