well i dont think there is a global rom for this 3s atleast we dont have official global rom in miui.com so i recommend you to unlock bootloader and flash custom global miui rom from xiaomi.eu .i have done the same and its even better than the original.
i am using redmi 3 pro
You can have the ROMs for Redmi 3S here
http://en.miui.com/download-303.html
For official global rom, I think it's same method as redmi 3
when device is powered off, vol up + power, then download
Redmi 3 and Redmi 3S use different ROMs.

There is no custom recovery available yet for your android. It may be in under development.

Hello man, even if someone port twrp, you can't flash it 'cause the bootloader is locked :/
Hi All! I have this phone K52e78 (3/32 GB Chinese version of K5 note with finger print sensor) and I received with pre-installed virus (restoring factory settings didn't help). I decided to upgrade the firmware to a7020a48 ROW using this tutorial video on YouTube: Прошивка китайского Lenovo k5 note (k52e78)
In the video I couldn't see, but in SP Flash Tool I chose the Firmware Upgrade option then clicked Download. After that, I received the message: ERROR: STATUS_INSUFFICIENT_BUFFER (0xC0010007), and my phone is a "brick" now. Do you know, what is the reason and what should I try now? Thanks in advance!
Hi,
I have a request if possible. Does anyone have a stock ROM for k5 note Chinese version?
Much appreciated.

device name changed from redmi k20 to mi9t

hey guys i own a redmi k20 and it was stuck in bootloop so i flashed the rom through miflash but after that my phones name changed from redmi k20 to mi9t did i messed something up or it doesnt matter
Same Problem
I also did the exact same thing and now I am worried that will I be able to come back into its original form. I tried every single ROM available for Redmi K20 through all the steps but nothing happened. It would be very grateful if someone tells us what to do.
Please Help
If you flashed any Global ROM, that's the reason your device is now recognized as "Xiaomi Mi 9T".
Beware to NOT lock your bootloader... or your phone will be hard-bricked (because you have a china "Redmi K20" device).
I've had the exact same thing but in the other way (i had it 9t and got redmi k20), it doest matter if everything works as for me i had no problems with it
Here's some things that may help
Make sure that you have unlocked bootloader and install twrp
Backup everything in twrp.
Install xiaomi.eu rom (it will transform to k20).
And voilà... And trust me you won't need the stock rom ?

Wrongly flashed redmi 9t fastboot rom in redmi k20.Help Plz...

Wrongly flashed redmi 9t fastboot rom in redmi k20 .Now cannot flash the redmi k20 fastboot rom. Giving me error device mismatch. Kindly help me to solve this problem...
Front camera not working. Asking for calibration. After calibration not working......Please help
Ok guys I figured it out.Redmi K20 firmware starts with "Davincini" and 9T firmware starts with "Davinici" . So I have opened each of the "flash_all,flash_all_except_storage,flash_all_lock " with note pad plus and edited the words Davincini in the k20 fastboot rom to Davinci (9T) in the 8th and 9th row and flashed it with mi flash .It flashed perfectly . But forgotten to choose flash_all. So it relocked the bootloader. Now the front camera was not working.
There was a August update waiting . Updated now all is fine .Case closed.
Now again have to wait for 30 days to unlock the bootloader . Anyways back to miui 10 . So thanks . May be helpful to somebody...
K20 firmware starts with Davincini
9T frimware starts with Davinci...
Thanks Guys.............

Ok, the K20 and Mi9t are exactly the same, only difference is that the K20 uses Chinese ROM and the 9t Global. Both are Davinci.
India how ever, has a different variant this is the Davicini (or something like that).
About the calibration, format data and it should fix.
