HI Guys,
I flashed the Lollipop 5.0.1 CHN firmware and rooted the phone to install the Google apps, then when the India Firmware came i tried to flash that via Odin, it failed. and bricked the phone, could get into download mode but all firmware i've tried fails.
i tried numerous thing to a point where i can now only get CWM- recovery or TWRP open recovery on the phone, and then it allows me to get back into download mode with swver A3, but Odin still fails almost immediately.
help would be much appreciated
regards
Brendan

So this means you can into Download Mode which is quite a good thing.
Now what you do is download the particular Kies for S4 from the OEM site and connect it when your phone is in Download or that wierd Yellow Triangle with the sign to connect to PC, and then kies will try to save ur phone.
came accross this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2269941
Odin completed success fully, but now phone just hangs just after it askes to select the OS language ps. i used the lollipop india rom with the pit in the mentioned post
install a custom recovery using odin like philztouch and do a full wipe to install new rom
will i need a new PIT file?, after full wipe just Odin and lollipop 5.0.1 as normal?
So I am running s7 edge qualcom 6.0.1 T-mobile
I successfully rooted my device. However, I decided to go back to stock. So I put into developer mode and into recovery.
I opened ODIN - prince comsey because I used this version of ODIN to root the device.
I put in a stock version of t-mobile I found online.
and there was an error.
I tried to turn off the phone but it went into "please use smart switch for recovery"
Now smart switch doesn't work since my device still technically rooted.
I am currently trying different stock roms but am really panicked right now.
Please if anyone can offer any advice.
I am using Odin 3.12 now instead of the prince comsy version to try to flash a stock rom.
I don't know what I am doing wrong.

Yeah I've tried 3 different version of Odin no luck. Didn't use TWRP. I flashed root using Odin then cmd prompted fastboot files and superSU.
Strange thing is now on recovery mode my warrany counter is 0x0 but binary is custom.
Did you try the Emergency Device Initialisiation in Smart Switch?
Might want to try and get another stock file.

It has been confirmed that it works for variant devices like yours. Good luck.

can i just flash this rom using odin?
I'm using same model C9008 and already applied it and using to post this reply so it's safe if you know how to do.
You can't use odin to flash custom rom because it's file is in differnet format.

I too have samsung c9 pro sm-c9008 (china variant)
only marshmellow is available yet, but sm-c9000 roms also supported, and you have the latest firmware and the international apps.
i took a smart switch backup and then flashed twrp (c9ltechn) and flash with LATEST odin then your firmware will corrupt and wont work, but you have taken your backup, then download latest SM-C9000 firmware (i recommend hong kong region, im using too) flash it and restore your samsung smart switch backup.
Now your running the international version of c9 pro. (BUT ROOTING THE PHONE IS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE)

Proceed at your own risk!
1. Download latest odin tool.
2. Download twrp for china variant: https://twrp.me/samsung/c9ltechn.html.
3. Flash twrp and check if stock rom is not corrupted, if not, nandroid backup.
4. Now wipe everything in the phone.
5. Download rom (nougat), SM-9000 firmware is compatible with the SM-9008 hardware (check my image attached) but download the "hong kong" region firmware. Basically your changing your Asia phone to an international phone.
https://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/galaxy-c9-pro/SM-C9000/TGY/download/C9000ZHU1BQL3/200864/
(If you want different sites... Google "samsung c9 pro hong kong nougat stock firmware" and download the sm-c9000 rom and flash it)
NOW AFTER THIS YOUR PHONES IN INTERNATIONAL STATE. DO NOT FLASH CUSTOM RECOVERY AGAIN, IT WILL SOFTBRICK!!!!
ENJOY USING YOUR NEW ROM. ? feel free to clear more doubts.

No. since your changing your rom, the rom your currently using might get corrupted after flashing the TWRP. If it doesn't get corrupted, boot to custom recovery(TWRP) and backup your current rom (BACKUP>SYSTEM).
If your rom is corrupted (when restarting your phone after flashing custom recovery(TWRP) the phone will be soft bricked) but you dont need to worry because you can flash back the new sm-c9000 rom. ?

Download the CROM.apk https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/samsu...ease/crom-service-1-0-4-android-apk-download/
Enable Developer Option by navigating to your Settings > About > Software Information > More > Build Number. You need to tap the Build Number option more than 5 times or until you get a pop-up ‘Developer Option Enabled’
Navigate to Settings > Developer Option and enable OEM Unlock
Install the downloaded CROM Services app and disable Samsung Reactivation Lock.
Run the CROM Service app and tap ‘Unlock Bootloader’.

Had A310F with custom ROM, then went back to stock marshmallow.
Now wanted to go for latest Nougat with the marshmallow rooted and twrp on.
Samfirm only gives my one oart firmware which does not fir in ap slot on odin 3.12.
using 4 part nougat carrier specific not free one it fials on flashing.
What is the way now to get a stock android 7.0 device here with which firmware please?
does flash fail due to downgrade?
think i deleted something in marshmallow rom to make bootloader security somewhat fit to downgrade
Try to download the firmware from sammobile.com i think you can't downgrade just download another stock firmwaee for the a310f (your device) and try to reflash via odin
Hi all
I've had my S7 for ages and have flashed it a few times with odin. Today I tried the lightrom Pie verison, but could not get teamviewer host working with unattended remote access due to knox?!?! If anyone know how to solve this that would be great!
But the big problem is now, after flashing both official Oreo and Lightrom Pie, I cannot flash ANYTHING in Odin. It fails after the sboot.bin. I have OEM unlocked, developer mode on, and have just the other day, flash both firmwares above. I have noticed secure download is enabled in download mode.
Can anyone advise? I have twrp backups but have now issues with app purchases and crashes (titanium backup license fails...)
thanks, how can I flash stock with odin now?!?
Edit: fixed it. I was restoring a slightly lower version of the firmware that was previously installed
