No such thing as a best ROM. And what works best for me doesn't mean it will work for you, so this question is moot.
Go to the ROM threads, and read them/their op and see what features they have that you want. 95% of the ROMs are built by the same guy/group, so that really slims down how many ROMs you need to try when it comes to figuring out what works for you feature/battery wise.

I use RR if that helps..

Aosip(derpfest or without derpefest Version),,, Resurrection Remix,,, Carbon Rom,,,Pixel Experience Plus,,,,Aosp beta @winxuser have done some magical work with its kernel if Customization isn't your concern then this rom is battery friendly(plus overall well balanced Rom),,,,there aren't any night and day difference,,,For me Every Pie Rom is Stable plus there aren't any big difference in battery life,,,Sd810 sucks ,,,You can't expect anything from that junk in terms of performance or battery life its one of the worst Soc Qualcomm ever made..

Vote your favorite LP ROM here!

Hi all! The purpose of this thread is to gather a bit of information about the LP ROMS people like the most, and why. As you already know Android 5.0 arrived along the last few months to our awesome phone, the Moto G. However the Moto G is a popular phone, and despite being a bit of an oldie there is still a huge amount of support for it from the community. The proof is that we already have (at least) 22 different ROMs we can flash, and counting. Amongst such number of ROMs being developed at a time, it can be hard to choose sometimes, and that's why I came up with this idea. In the end it is something someone would have done sooner or later, and while I am aware that pretty much all of the projects listed here are under development and still far from a final release, in my opinion most are mature enough for daily use at this point. Therefore, I believe it is about the right time to start sharing our opinions on them!
If this turns out right (hope so, lol) we will have a better knowledge of the current LP ROMs out there, which of them are the most chosen among users, and most importantly the reasons that stand behind. Plus, it will be easier for newcomers to decide which ROM suits them best.
Long story short, just vote for the ROM you like the most. I encourage you to post your opinions on the matter as well, so we can know why you like that ROM so much!
Note: I did my best at gathering all the ROMs available at the moment. If you can't find your ROM in the list just post it here (and tell us what makes it cool). I don't know if I will be able to add them to the poll since this is the first one I do, I will if it's possible.
So tell me, what's your favourite lollipop flavour?
Guess I'll be the first? xD My vote goes to BlissPop. I tried a few other like CM12, stock, Resurrection Remix or Pac-rom, and found BlissPop was the one that most satisfied me in terms of features. I like omni-switch, viper4android integration in settings and bliss interface with all the personalisation options. It also fares nicely in overall performance and battery life, and IMO it is quite stable... hardly any bug and when there is one it usually is nothing bothersome. Still got a lot to test out though, so my opinion might change.
Euphoria OS is really good. Very stable, better performance than stock. although right now I have 5.1 installed.
Pacman and exodus
Optimised stock by @lost101 with xposed, fantastic, just how motorola should have done it.
Pacman and aicp
Stock without any doubt.
Broken is pretty good as well imo.

Euphoria is definetly one that I want to give a try to. Interested on it's performance and their cm12 theme is one of the best I've seen.

A lot of people are going for stock, this surprises me a little. May I ask what are the benefits of stock? Is it just stability or is there a difference in performance too? Curious.

i guess for some stability and performance. Euphoria OS is a great rom although I am not a fan of CM anymore. they got too big for their own good.

Better performance, stability and everything works as it should.
Also xposed gives you almost all the additional features.
Battery life is much better imo

Is it for dual sim ?
Resurrection
Although I'm on stock optimised by @lost101 great battery and stability.. And multitask is great too..
Stock 5.0.2 Brazilian optimized.
Stability, a couple of random reboots but overall stable.
As it was said xposed compensates the lack of some customization or functions.
Amazing battery performance, about 14/16.
resurrection remix 5.4.1
Sent from my Moto G using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
For the moto 4g has to be blisspop 5.1 so smooth to many optimization to talk about great ROM..
Beanstalk
FlexOS
Resurrection remix falcon xt1033..

What's the best rom for the nexus 6p ?

Hi everyone i want to know what is the best rom for my nexus 6P ? With a good battery life, fast and clear with options for personalisation ?
Each rom is different and unique in its own way, and whether a rom is the "best" is strictly subjective. If you want good battery life and extremely stable, with a decent amount of personalization, go rooted stock. Personally, Pure Nexus has given me the best balance of battery life and features.
Custom ROMs have always been subjected from a user to another, depending upon their taste and requirements. I have used most ROMs available here at XDA-Developers. And after thorough testing and experience, I am now sticking to Pure Nexus. It is lightweight with a decent list of customization options, and layers support too. You can give it a try.
P.S: It also has a CM theme engine variant, if you are not a fan of RRO Layers.

Also, glad to welcome you to the community. Your 6P will be the best Android phone you've ever owned up to this point, and will probably remain so until Google release the next few Nexii

Screw'd Android does have a nougat based rom (7.0), check out their Google + page. It runs awesome!!
I am surprised that u guys haven't used uberstock..
It's the fastest a rom on Android can be.. Super smooth and fast
Nitrogen OS has been my bread and butter for a couple months now.
One of my favorite Roms has to be Android Ice Cold Project.
It has so many features that you can mess around with to customize the experience the way you want it.
Probably the only downside to this Rom is that it drains battery much faster than Roms with less features, so if you want features but don't mind losing battery life, then this Rom is for you.
Another Rom I can recommend is jgcaap's custom CM13 builds.
It has a little more features than stock CyanogenMod 13 has but it saves a ton more battery life than AICP.
I've been using this Rom for quite a while now and I've had no problems with it so far.
Hope I've assisted you in some way
Have a great day!

What has been your best experience with which ROM+Kernel Combination?

Firstly, Good job keeping and sticking with this OP2 device ! You are truly something.
QUESTION : From all the Oreo Roms available, which has been your favourite combination of Rom and kernel, mainly aimed at battery life and maximum stability ? Keep in mind that this question is posed towards your opinion and YOURS ONLY. Just because you seen someone saying that it's the best, shouldn't be your combination choice.
Cosmic and bb
The new pixel rom has been amazing so far... good battery SOT and smooth rom.

Tried all Oreo Roms except Cosmic. The most I enjoyed AOS Illusion Project with BlueBolt kernel for the reasons you mentioned. Stable, good battery life and enough customisability.

Need ROM and Kernel suggestions?

So, I just dug out my Nexus 6P and was wondering what would be the best ROM and Kernel for it. I have been off the modding scene for a while and thought I'd try something. My key requirements are Stability, Performance and Battery Life (lol) .

Old post, I know. Better late than never I suppose. I pretty much did the same with the old N6P. I've been using the Bootlegger Rom [https://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-6p/development/rom-bootleggersrom-5-1-shishufied-t4088509]. Seems pretty good thus far.
Any updates on your end?
