Problems with Redmi K20/Xiaomi Mi 9T with MIUI 11.0.3.0 Stable - Redmi K20 / Xiaomi Mi 9T Questions & Answers

I have a Redmi K20/Xiaomi Mi 9T chinese version updated MIUI 11.0.3.0 Stable
First of all
Storage - 128GB available 109GB (other files - 3.9GB)
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Then when I activate mobile data it also happens sometimes with Wi Fi the following happens:
Storage - 128GB available 11GB (other files - 101.9GB)
- Sometimes it happens that if I open WhatsApp, Messenger freezes the screen and then restarts it and the lock screen appears.
- Sometimes a "find device closed unexpectedly" message appears.
I already made a factory reset but the problem continues.
Any idea???

This really looks weird. Post some screenshots

That is because you have turned on the Ambien screen. But I have problems with the proximity sensor and too much time the apps stoped and some things like that

Yeah, I am having similar issue too. My Mi A1 is now getting lagging now. Really disappointed, because its getting worst day by day.
True.. My ambient display is disabled and still i face regular (atleast once a day, sometimes more) freezes.. Only a reboot can recover the device.. Really irritating!
you are right, esp if you try to open within a few second upon whatsapp message arriv

you are right, esp if you try to open within a few second upon whatsapp message arrives (through fingerprint), the screen becomes unresponsive but phone works on background. Happened quite a few times now, somehow I would find approx. where could be the restart button and press for restart, quite strange, don't know what to do?!!!
I experience this issue only once (when I tried enabling Ambient display). With Ambient display off, I didn't have a single freeze or app crash. I reboot phone every few days due to updated Magisk/Xposed modules, maybe it helps a bit..?
Since the November update I am also getting freezes and some lag, which is very disappointing. So you are saying that if I turn of ambient display it will take care of the random freezing?
Cheers

Anyone else with lockscreen timeout issue ? Plz help

Hi ZenFone Max Pro M1 users, I would like to ask if anyone of you faces this issue in which most of the times, the lock screen does not go off after 10 seconds by itself and stays on until turned off by power button? I strongly believe this is a software issue which will be fixed by a future update so I'm here checking with you'll if your devices behave the same. My home screen timeout is 5 minutes and it goes off automatically after 5 minutes. The issue I'm facing is only regarding the lock screen which on ALL other Android devices goes off after 10 seconds. If I'm the only one facing this issue, I will replace my device as it is still in it's replacement warranty period. The firmware I'm running is Version WW-15.2016.1805.309.
Can anyone confirm this happens with their device as well?

I also had this issue. It won't go off until I power it off manually. I asked help in Asus Service Centre app and they told me to wipe cache partition from recovery mode. After doing it, for some time the issue didn't happened. But later on, the issue is still happening...
Also, sometimes my fingerprint sensor is not working when charging...

I wonder this happening with Max Pro M2. Screen not timeout automatically. Dosn't matter you set it 30sec or 15sec!!

ZTE Axon 7 Lineage OS 15.1 recording issue and shut down

Hello guys,
I have a strange issue with my axon 7. When I try to use the microphone to record any kind of sound, the phone just shuts down and a red led appears.
I have tried different apps, like the stock recorder, the voice recorder on whatsapp, the shazam recorder to recognize a song etc. and the phone always shuts down.
I am considering to change my phone so I thought that for some months I could continue using the phone with this issue, but like 1 hour ago I launched for mistake the google assistant and now the phone just keeps shutting down as soon as I unlock it.
This is my second installation of lineage 15.1 since even with the first I had the same issue and formatted the phone. If this topic has already been discussed please let me have the link, I couldn’t find anything
Thank you

Best option would be to do a clean installation of los 15. You can use the instructions in the OP of los 15 and do a completely clean flash, making sure to wipe all your data (unfortunately this has to happen). You don't need to wipe your Internal and External Storage however.
Make sure to use Universal Los 15.1 Bootloader v2 , not v1 or the b20 bootstack.
I was able to partially solve the problem of the continous shut downs.
On the lockscreen I opened the phone shortcut which took me directly to the phone app without firing up the google assistant. Then I went to settings and unistalled the google app and installed it again.
Now it is back to “normal” when it shuts down only when using recording functions.
Reinstalling the rom seems like the only logical thing to do but the problem is that previously I’ve encountered always the same problem, even with los 16 and I’m not sure it’s gonna give me a different outcome

Problem with Xiaomi Mi 9T

Hello, I bought an unopened Xiaomi Mi 9T and when it came home everything went well and nice went well but after 2 weeks already making figures, Google Play and YouTube and Chrome sometimes when I want to access them does not work, I gave factory reset on the phone, I reset the router, I deleted the cached data and others restart on the phone but it still does not work ... I mean when I want to use these applications on Wi-Fi I sometimes make figures but on the mobile data it works properly.
So the second problem is that the status bar pulls itself up from the top down or starts to disappear sometimes but it returns (I guess I have gohst tocuh on the phone), I thought it was from the film I changed 2 so far but not so, I gave the reset 3 days ago and today I saw that it did the same ... I can't figure out what is going on, maybe something can be done under the guarantee? Do I think the display has minor defects and is too sensitive at the top?
I have 2 clips on youtube to see what I say, but doesn't work to put links here

Certain apps freezing on MIUI 12.5.3

Hello, I've had this issue for a couple of months now. I've got a Redmi Note 7 updated to its last supported MIUI version. The issue that I'm having is, certain apps take a long time to respond. For example, when I open the Gallery app, the media shows up but when I try to open a photo it freezes or goes to a black screen, I then have to wait up to a minute until I get the popup at the bottom asking me if I want to close it or wait, so I choose wait and after another minute or so, the photo loads up.
The MIUI file manager does this too and unfortunately it's not just limited to the MIUI apps but others as well. Viber, Revolut, YouTube, Yodel, Wise, and a bunch of other apps that I download do this. Sometimes the issue gets fixed only temporarily when I uninstall the Webview app's updates or clear its data but it's only good for a couple of minutes. Sometimes the whole screen would go black and it would just freeze, I then have to hold the power button for a couple of seconds and it does this quick reboot where the MIUI logo appears with the sound for about 10 seconds or so and I'm on the lockscreen. I figured Google messed something up with an update for that app but it's been months and it's been through a couple of updates where I hoped this issue would be fixed but no.
I've tried a factory reset + flashing the firmware but they still keep on freezing. Could it be some memory issue? I really don't wanna switch to a new phone as I'm still satisfied with the battery life on this one and its specs overall still get the job done for calls, regular internet browsing, social media and watching videos. Has anybody else experienced this?
