For more than a month I bought the note 7 and almost immediately I noticed that the battery didn't last as the others said ...
If I use it very little it makes me 2 and a half days if I use it normally as 1 day.
I'm fed up because I can't do anything with this phone, I only installed whatsapp and I just didn't activate the GPS in my account ..
Screen light is low
Can anyone help me? There is a solution?
Has anyone solved the problem?

Ps I have already done 4 reset has not helped at all, sometimes I google play sevices and frameworks that consume 10% to 30% ...
Dude are you complaining that your battery life lasts between 1 to 2.5 days? What are you expecting?

I have big issue with the battery. I currently have 82% with only 23mins of screen time and wifi on.! I am using stock rom rooted. The phone is 3 days old..
Any fix?

I also had this issue. Run the phone down to 0% and then fully charge, then run to 0% again. This refreshed or calibrates the battery counter and my battery life went from 2 hours screen on to about 9 or 10

Questions should go in Questions and not in General.
Also keep in mind that a Power-Off and then Power-On cycle is pretty battery intensive - 2-3 reboots can take well over 5% of your battery.
Same issue here. Im forced to run ondemand at 1500 max to save some juice until samsung fix their crap

Go to settings-WiFi-advanced and untick scanning always available.

For me it's always unticked, also all google locations, nfc, bluetooth, GPS, data sync, all motion sensors and whatever else disabled. No bad apps, all greenified, no bad wake up logs.
Everything is normal. I almost never play games and use it just for browsing.
2 possible battery drainers:
Bad firmware or Google Play Services. I don't know what's causing it but since MJ7 everything sucks.
I'm currently doing full discharge (since I always plug it when it's around 10-20% left). It's now at 1% and I'm playing games like mad and it's 15 minutes already and still hasn't turned off. Possibly bad battery calibration?

Got a like new Note 3 the other day and immediately rooted it and installed Beansrom on it. Compared to my note 2, I am unimpressed by the battery life. When the screen is off I dont get much drain, but I notice excessive draining while I am using it. Could this just be a bad battery? Currently, if i use it the same way I have been using my Note 2, I would average around 14 hours on a full charge where as my note 2 would atleast pull 21 hours. I have betterbatterystats running in the background to find the culprit so if there is anybody out there that can read and interpret it I would greatly appreciate it. Any help would greatly be appreciated !!

Have you tried looking into AZ_Biker's thread ? There are allot of screen shots and info there.
I have a N9005 running Alexndr's stock, rooted 5.0 ROM. Over the last few weeks the phone has had battery drain problems. I used to be able to get a couple of days out of the one charge but now I'm having to charge it in the afternoon. If it's at 50% charge when I go to bed it's completely dead in the morning. I'll attach some screenshots from betterbatterystats. One possible culprit seems to be com.google.android.gms which I think is part of google play services. Can someone please have a look at the screenshots & comment on them?

I have the same problem.
I've always had 6-7 hours of sot, worse case 5 hours.
Now I have 2 hours.
I have done a factory reset, the problem is still there.
What kind of battery are you using? Have you tried using another battery?

Amplify needs a deodexed ROM and Xposed framework AFAIK and I don't have a deodexed ROM. Interestingly, my Tab S 8.4 has developed the same problem. Turning off Google location history has helped a bit but it's still way poorer that it was.
I think the problem is in the Google services itself. On my Note 3 I'm having the same drain issue. On my wife Samsung A3 too.

Probable that its the battery .
I recently bought a new battery for my note 3 (by Anker) and it was a grand decision. The horrible battery drain is gone. I used to charge twice a day. I thought it may have been the rom but, although i did also change Rom from Phronensis to Dark Wolf pure white, my wifes note 3 is still on Phronensis and there's no drain on her phone so it most likely is the battery. Get a new battery but make sure it's a good battery. Read the reviews before buying.

After Several Trials For Days I Found The Main Cause
1 - Bad Calibrated Battery Or Bad Battery Sensor
Solution : Leave the Mobile connected to the charger one or two hours after complete charge
2 - Miui rom not optimized
Solution : Update to miui 8 or better use custom rom like aurora rom or any cm based rom
now from 1.5 SOT to more than 5 SOT !!!
Hasn't worked for me... I keep the ROM updated with xiaomi.eu's developer version, and always leave the phone charging during night, still only 2.5 to 3 hours sot.
the same with me. The new Thread in the Miui Forum let me hope, that theey will fix this problem. I buyed too a Redmi Note 3 Battery and will try, to hack it, that I can use it in RN 2

Pay attention while playing with batteries!
to my opinion it depends most of the rom... i use rom builder from http://mi-globe.com/ and its working good:good:
Install govtuner from xda, ir works
If you stick a small quartz crystal to the back of your phone, centered on the battery. it will resonate in harmony with the battery and the available energy will magnified 10 fold.
If you still need more, install at least 3 battery saver apps to get around 10hrs SOT.:laugh::laugh::laugh:

Brightness 10-15% most of the time
Disabled all startup programs except whatsup and truecaller (no face , no twitter .....etc)
no gps no bluetooth
if wifi on ... mobile data is off and vice versa
first sim is 2g and shift it to 3g when mobile data is needed

After all that
zero battery loss during standby (125 Hours Standby)
5 hours SOT (Browsing and whatsup no games)
