Ive just got a an Atrix and I muct say i quite like the stock rom. Ive played around with and got into custom roms on my last phone (LG optimus 2x), I was going to immediately d othe same with this one but i actually like stock rom whereas I hated the lg stock.
Anyway after some time i might change but for now im ok, i bought the phone in china and it came already rooted, its a French retail version.
So my question is there some way to improve the motoblur widgets? The clock and calender widget doesnt update with time and date.
Also do the current custom ROMS have working fingerprint readers?

to your first question regarding Widgets, I honestly do not know.
as far as ROMs, there's a sticky about atrix noobs that you should read. includes all the ROMs and those threads show what works and what doesn't.

I got a pad from Sprint some time ago and noticed it is v430 and Cyanogen is v410. Has anyone had any luck with installing a custom rom on it? The OOB G Pad is insanely slow.
I have the lk430 as well and there is nothing out there. I suspect that the 20 other siblings this tablets has (exaggeration) is why we might not ever see a way to put CM on this particular model. I'm upset about that but I guess all the lk430 owners are going to be without cm on their tablet.
It's silly too because you'd think that given the siblings of this thing has it you'd at least see _something_ but nope!

I've been using the LG G2 for more than 2 years w/o dealing with group messaging until lately.
A friend of mine who just recently switched from iPhone to Android, has asked me about it and why she can't use it (well, message was sent to all recipients but as individual, not as a group).
I'd been telling her that Android has so much features that it has everything iPhone has and more.
Now, my turn to try and indeed, I CANNOT use it. I've tried with my parents phone, Motorola G, same thing, can't do it.
I've searched around and there was a lot of reports, complaining about this issue but it was 2013. Now about 2016, it is still a problem.
Does anyone know how to fix this? TIA
I'm using CloudyG2 3.3 ROM, my parent's MotoG untouch, my friend's Alcatel Idol 3, all using stock Message app.

At first, I thought it is the limitation of Android OS but many other friends, especially a cousin who using the Sammy Galaxy Edge+ have no problem with group message at all.
I'm wondering whether it is device-dependent or something.
Does anyone know if the Priv will get Android N? I'm getting one on sale ($280) Also, owners can share their respective experience with the device.
Hello everyone, I have a small problem i was hoping to maybe get some help with. I recently bought a Moto G5 Plus (Motorola factory edition) and started trying out some of the awesome roms that here with the hopes of geeking out on some kick-a$$ daydream games (after doing the build prop editing of course) and it turns out half of the daydream apps wont play on Nougat. Bummer right?! So i upgraded to Oreo and viola! they work GREAT!! ..... except for one smalll hiccup. I'm on my 4th 8.1 custom rom now (they all rock btw) and before i can get past the loading screen on any daydream game or app, my moto flashes an overheat warning and shuts daydream down. My question is, is there an app out there that spoofs internal thermometer or is that even the problem? Is this maybe an issue i can rectify by further root code editing? Has nobody else had this issue and if that is the case why do i always get crappy broke one?!?!?!?! I usually just read through these forums until i find the answer on my own and i really hate to bother anyone who would otherwise be rockin the sh*t outta some new software for all of us to enjoy but i cant really seem to find anything addressing this one.
