Hy, I need to buy a USB Type-C to USB 3.0 C Data Cable Fast Charger (5A or 3A), perfectly working with Note10+.
I have seen a lot of cable, but I don't know if they work.
Have you found a working cable?
Thanks

Then you are not going to get charging as fast as with the standard OEM 25W or 45W Samsung chargers, none of the clones have the same specs as the Samsung OEM units, they have an unusual specification to which the phone is matched. (And only Note 10+ takes advantage of the 45W version.)

I need USB c to USB 3.0 cable to connect the Note to laptop or to Android Auto and for charging with a QC 3.0 charger.

I am using a baseus qc 3.0, 5 ft long, I precisely bought it to connect the phone to my laptop, which lacks the usb C port, charges at 25 W and transfers data well, search for it

Difference in charging speed with different chargers?

Hi,
I was wondering if using a 2A charger with a normal Micro USB cable will charge my Note 3 as fast as the same charger with a Micro USB 3.0 cable?
Considering that USB 3.0 only delivers a higher output compared to 2.0 when plugged into a PC, I guess it makes no difference when using wall chargers?
Am I right ?
Thanks in advance,
Ben
USB from a PC will always be less than a dedicated charger whether it is usb 2 or 3. A 2 amp charger is what I use but also pay attention to the lead as some are far better at handling higher currents than others as I found out trying various leads whilst running the app at https://play.google.com/store/apps...=organic&utm_term=galaxy+charging+current+apk

The phone detects if you are using a wall or usb charger, the second is considerably slower. Some usb chargers cheat to seem wall chargers so charges much faster.
What if I use a micro USB cable that is attached to a wall adapter plug, will it still charge fast on note 3?

Charging is not depend on USB 3.0 or 2.0, it acts differently only while transferring data. Otehrwise for charging both works similar.
The stock wall adapter has 2Amp output and I’ve a power bank with same output and the Power Bank provided with a short USB 2.0 cable and with both it takes same time to full charge. So no issues with the cable.

Can you use a regular USB charger?

Can you use a regular micro usb charger in place of a 3.0 cable?
Thank you for the help
Yes, no problem. In fact with my S5 there is only a usb 2 cable supplied.

Yup, you sure can.
Just an FYI: The USB3 cable is in fact micro USB as well. It's just the USB3 version of microUSB. The USB3 port on the phone is backward compatible, so a USB2 cable will work just fine in there. :good:
Yep it will work

So which will charge quicker the stock charger or my nexus 7 charger?
I think they are both 2 amp chargers. What is the advantage of the extra plug on the charger?

It's USB 3.0. You'll get faster data transfer speeds when plugged into a USB 3.0 port on a computer.

faster data transfer rate.
OK thanks.
So the charging rate is the same depending on the "block" amps?
I think the USB 3.0 charges faster even if it's still the same 2A charger

It would seem so, yes. In re: max charging amps, it seems that the S5, much like the Note 3, will charge only at 1200mA while the screen is on and 1800mA otherwise. See discussion here: http://forums.androidcentral.com/sa...48184-galaxy-note-3-max-charging-current.html
To the OP, thanks for starting the thread... I hadn't even realized that the new Micro USB 3.0 connector actually was backwards compatible with the older MicroUSB 2.0 for charging!
Great link thanks!
Yep Confirmed!

Any issues with using Samsung USB C cables/chargers on V20?

With all the returns and obtaining of phones I've amassed a nice stockpile of Samsung fast chargers and a few Samsung USB C cables(and adapters).
I've read before that USB C allows for non standard use of cables by manufacturers so I'm wondering if anyone has tried or knows if it will be an issue using the said chargers/cables (yes I know the Samsung chargers are only QC 2.0 spec).
I have a QC 3.0 car charger I got from Aukey during a sale. I have some Aukey USB A to USB C cables too that work fine with my Note 7 too.
Trying to see if I need to slowly replace my Samsung chargers with official QC 3.0 wall chargers (will need at least 2)
Here at work I am using my Note 7 charger setup. Left LG flat cable at home.

Thanks for the reply, that puts me a bit at ease. I'll probably still get some QC 3.0 wall chargers but wait until I see a sale from Aukey for one.
Sorry. Side question.
What's the wattage for the US Samsung fast charger?

It's adaptive fast charger and does either 5.0v @ 2A or 9.0v @ 1.67A so 10w or 15w respectively
All QC are backwards compatible. QC 3 will know you are using QC 2 and charge at the rate of QC 2. If you use a QC 3 charger and have a QC 2 device the device will only draw QC 2. So you have nothing to worry about as long as they are QC compliant

Fast Charging (hardware)

I am curious if any of you have tried third party CABLES for your Le Pro 3 charging. I purchased a pack from Amazon and found that none of these charge the phone with any kind of urgency. A thirty minute drive delivered 4% battery, on a QUICK CHARGE CAR CHARGER. With the OEM cable, I would have gotten 30-40%, based on my testing thus far.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The product I picked up (and plan on returning):
[/B]Conforms to the USB Type C Specification version 1.1, standard 56kilohm identification resistor, which ensures a safe charging at 2.4A Maximum and the speed of data sync up to 480 Mbps. No damage to your wall charger adapter and legacy USB hub
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Have any of you had luck, or experience, here?
Do I perhaps need a special kind of cable? I am assuming all USB C cables are "equal" due to the tech behind usb c.
Any feedback is welcomed and appreciaited.

I too thought that all usb c cables are the same. Are you sure you were using quick charge 3.0 charger?
Yuppers. Sadly, I'm positive. I used the OEM brick this morning, and received 2% in 10 minutes. This is massively low compared to the OEM cable. The car is also a quick charge that typically charges my phone upwards of 40% on my daily commute. This did closer to 3%.
The o ly factor that has been changed is the cable.
Sounds like you got a bad cable. Return it and buy one that is approved by Benson Leung.
Agree with NiHaoMike. Try Anker Powerline Cables.

I'm still waiting for my x720.
And access to Anker products is actually quite difficult here in Norway. I've ended up ordering both Tronsmart and Choetech cables. Both approved by Benson Leung.

As a means of edjucating myself...who, or what, is Benson Leung? I aim to Google it after I post this, but thought...perhaps, y'all would have more specific info as to our interest in this name...
Just Google Benson usb c and you will find what you are looking for.

Is it possible that the issue is with the type C cable being a 2.0 vs 3.0 USB? I am noticing that my order contained USB 2.0 to USB C...WHILE OTHER USB C cable show 3.0 and 3.1
I am using Tronsmart and Choetech USB-C cables from amazon with no problem.
QC 2.0 chargers also seem to work quite well for fast charging.

Recommend USB Cable for Zenfone 3 ZE552KL

Hi guys, I'm buying a Zenfone 3 and need few recommedations of this type of usb cable. It because I'm new with usb type C cable. In Asus' website i was reading about it comes with a Usb cable type C 2.0. So, in another page I saw that if I use another kind o type C cable the phone could die by overheating.
I'll be so grateful for your answers
You can't really get a bad USB-C cable if you stick to the OEM charger. Just get whatever.
