I came to know about PWM on amoled screens and was searching a ROM with support for DC screen dimming / disabling PWM . Any help will be appreciated.

Hi guys,
I have an I9500 and when I install any custom rom I get the smearing issue. I solve it with Synapse using custom kernels. But when I do that blacks are not black enaugh, they are gray! It really looks ugly especially on Ambient Display. How can I solve this issue without grayed out screen? If you use Synapse like I do can you share your screen tab here?

Register hook and edge enchantment enabled, chroma multiplier is 27, colors are all 13

I had this issue in my A3 2015, I tryed to fix but without luck. i think is amoled screen problem or board, caused from charging phone in Car, PC or with fake charger!
Display was broken...
I sent mine back to warranty and in the end they had to change the display. Since then I had no problem with it. Hope it helps anyone☺

I recently bought a Zenfone 5 model ASUS_X00QD and noticed that the auto brightness doesn't work very well. In a dark room, the screen dims a little, but it's still too bright. Do you know how to fix it?

I installed Lux Auto Brightness and it's working OK, but I shouldn't need a third party app for this.
Hello everybody! I found a bug: brightness is flickering even when "auto brightness" ("adaptive brightness") is disabled. Brightness can encrease for few seconds and then decrease to previous level. I read in some reviews that max pro m1 has adaptive brightness which changes depending on content on the screen. I tried to change a lot of display settings, developer settings, i tried to adjust CABC (Content Adaptive Brightness Control) through Nova Launcher (but later I read that CABC controls only autobrightness), and even hard reset. I flashed custom ROMs but it didn't help. Only Lux Dash app helps avoid this bug. But it is not very comfort to use it and I think there must be desicion on firmware level. Did anybody has this problem and any solution? May be somebody has this issue and found custom ROM without flickering brightness?
