Mi 9t alarm - Redmi K20 / Xiaomi Mi 9T Questions & Answers

Hi there, My Mi 9t recently received a system update to the clock. Ever since the update, when the alarm is sounding, the display (which used to be white on black, dark theme set) is now white on light grey.
This looks horrible and I'm sure it was never intended to look this way.
Does anyone else have this problem? Is there a fix for it?
Hope someone can help.
Thanks

I bought this phone 3 days ago, and just today I set the alarm. I saw a grey screen too. I thought it was like that...
wich color was it?
On alarm settings there is an option to set the backgrownd automatic, white, dark.

Hi there, I'm glad someone else has the problem. Originally, when the alarm clock was ringing the display was (black on white, in light mode) ( white on black in dark mode). This problem is only when the alarm is ringing, all other screens are fine. It is still the same which ever mode you are in. Must be a bug !!

I have checked this and I'm also getting this grey color when alarm is ringing. So I believe it's a bug also.

Hi there, thank you for checking. Does anyone have any idea of where the best place is to inform Xiaomi of this problem so we can hopefully get it fixed?

Problem with Screen Color

Hi,
I have an unlocked Cingular 8525. The last couple of days, I noticed that the color on the screen changes to green or red when I pull the keyboard out. Since yesterday, the color of the screen changes even in portrait mode. That it the screen is never the windows blue screen.
Except for this the phone works perfect.
Can you please let me know if there is any solution for this?

Display issue

It adds greyish tint to blue and black colors. This happens when night clock is on, sometimes randomly. Sliding brightness levels seems to fix this. Anyone having the same issue?
Pictures on this thread (it was not made by me but it shows the issue very accurately).
Edit: now by phone seems to freak out. When i slide down notification the phone turns to bright green. Turning the phone off and on fix it, but it is such an expensive phone with such issues... so dissapointed.
No?
No problem here

Still facing red tint issue

DEAR ALL
still facing red tint issue even after fix update what to do?
please guide me.
There's no other solution if you've moved the red-tint slider down to minimal and you still have too much red tint. Either you exchange it or try to live with it. Cmiiw
You're one of few, like me, and have to live with it yes.
My adaptive is reasonable, bit strange with such an expensive device to call it that. But my amoled modes are as pink as they were on day 1.
I don't find any other news about any more fixes either. So samsung probably thinks everybody is enjoying their fantastic looking s8 and + versions.
Ps. You could bring it to samsung repair and let them recalibrate or repair your screen.
did you try???

yes bro tried everything but still there
The red is so annoying I agree, when I bought my S8 earlier this month the display was fine up until last week when it suddenly started turning red after sunset and the red lasts until sunrise!! I have tried all the possible adjustments with no result in all display modes and modifications. The red is so annoying to live with. At night when I change the phone time to am, it goes back to the regular display and all is well until sunset. I tried it in different timezones, it also adapts the black timing to the local sunset time! I haven't read/heard/seen anyone face this problem., am I the only one?
That thing is what you call night mode or Blue light filter you can turn it off
Mine looks pretty good on adaptive, but on other modes it's a bit reddish. I really wish Samsung released the sliders on the other modes too.

Hey thanks but I forgot to mention that:
- the red screen comes up even if the blue light filter is switched off
- the red screen shows up in all displays (Adaptive -even if the red is reduced to a minimum in the Advanced options , AMOLED cinema, AMOLED photo and basic modes)
- the red from the red screen is different from the nightmode's yellow-ish colour.
I am not sure if the warranty covers it. but I will speak to Samsung customer service and see if anyone has faced this before
after adjusting the RGBs and the display edge adjuster, the top of my display still appears slightly red..as though there is a reddish band at the top.. anyone?

The 1GB android 8.1 + security patch update. (Notification led behavior change)

My phone has been working nicely after the update, a little faster than before, but my notification led does not pulse any more when i get a message / other notification from other apps.
It just stays on before i clear my notification center OR
When i wake the screen, it also goes off (wich is something what happens in almost every smartphone i know)
A minor little thing what i noticed but it does not make my world go upside down.
Does anyone else have same with the notification led after the update?
I did not find anything from the settings to change it.
Same here!
Yeah, same here. I'm trying to figure if it's a bug or a feature.
Same here, it's bug.

When you receive notification, is your LED blinking or stays solid white?
In my case led does not work anymore.
Edit: after restart it works. Not flashing anymore.
Same annoying thing to me
LED just glows continuously. Not blinking. I hope there will be a fix for that ASAP.
Same here. Phone canĀ“t be unlocked after a few time and the screen stays black. Consequently, it is neccesary to reboot it by pressing on/off switch by 5 seconds. In addittion, Led notifications doesn't work.

Is this normal? Service menu test "BLACK" actually u see slight backlight ???
Hi everyone,
Recently im testing my screen since i notest some difference, and i tested Service menu, green, red blue are fine, everything fine except BLACK" test, actually is very dark, but pixels in very dark place u see they ARE NOT turned OFF. Also for example if you watch this video in yoututbe for another test HDR, Dobly test, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Y9nX0QHqzA u see black background on max brigthness that its still little lilght, as its very very dark, but pixels are not turned off. Im just asking if you guys experienced same? i tested in another device from my friend, and dosent have that-they are turned OFF. I got last firmware sept.1.2020.
Im wondering and i really dont wanna send this to service center, anything i can do or is this actually normal?
Anyone??? Would like to have some opinions today if possible. Thank you .
