On MIUI 11, camera carousel can only swipe one mode at a time, tapping on a mode allows for a jump but going to pro requires 2-3 taps, which is annoying.
Other than that, I think the camera is easy to use.
As a plus, it has focus peaking in manual mode!

Wrong thread.
Try questions and answers, or discussion, there's a whole thread about the global miui12 and I started one about the Indian just this morning..

Problem resolved

my grandma can easily use it. except she accidentally dropped it. thank god that day i decided to use a sturdy case for it. i normally have my phone naked with just a screen protector.

Used for over a year. During this time, the smartphone rebooted on its own and went into perpetual download. I tried to update the firmware, so after that Google payment did not work. It was global version. In the end, I got tired and switched back to Samsung.

The whorst purchase in 2018. Rating 2.5. will be beautiful in my closed, only this.
Got one as a backup phone and for the price is excellent. (bare in mind this is and entry level device... the lowest tier on Android devices, do not expect to be amazed!).
The SoC performs very well and even under heavy load does not warm too much, Android comes almost vanilla and so far just go 2 security updates. No bloatware, no nothing. Screen is small but very responsive.
Very fast response even on app switching, good mic and speaker, small to fit in any pocket and you actually can use chrome with a good performance.
Now the camera is entry level quality (still better than the ones on Vodafone brand devices with the same price tag), the screen is bellow HD and of course small and you will need an SDcard because it only has about 4.5GiB available in the eMMC.
For the price this will do wonders imho.
Phone is very compact and very easy for single handed usage.
stock android with nokia promise of software updates
Its all you can expect from this.
Very slow interface, very bad camera.

All in all I'm happy with it but if you start the selfie cam the beauty mode is active, you have to manually disable it to use the cam without beauty mode. Also they could have positioned the slowmotion feature a little bit better... For example as a replacement of the "short video" feature
I got in love with MIUI from the old days when I had the first Galaxy phone (it even had official MIUI rom). I think I managed to get an official one too for the S3, but then things got difficult when I upgraded to S6 - too much phones on the market and it kind of made sense that I would have to get a Xiaomi phone to enjoy the MIUI again (I never loved ported roms).
Well, I got Mi Mix 2s and MIUI and again I remembered how much I've missed it... I just love MIUI. Everything, from the design to OOTB solutions. The fullscreen gestures are easy to get used to and just make the experience unique. The only thing that bothers me is I cannot find a keyboard that would function great. I'm using Gboard, but it just isn't accurate as I'd wish (probably because of the fullscreen mode as others have also noticed).
But still... I love the software and as I've come from an LG G6, this phone feels like a rocket ship and I'm regretting now that I've waited so long for Xiaomi device and MIUI.
There is a way to install miui camera app on the P beta rom?
If we're here talking about miui, full disclosure I'm not using it at the moment but have used miui off and on for years. The biggest thing I like about MIUI is, if you're coming from an iOS device, MIUI makes perfect sense. Mi cloud services are amazing and work just like apple's (you just have to either buy credits third party or use a site like privacy.com to purchase through alipay, but the pricing scheme is nearly identical to apple's, about $1/mo for 25gb, and Mi cloud doesn't backup full images of your device (very space inefficient) like apple does. Mi messaging is awesome where applicable. Portrait camera is AMAZING and really the only thing I "Miss" from MIUI rom.
I will say that back in the day of MIUI 6-8 the theme community was amazing. It's very weak now.
I thought I could live with MIUI, but after 5 days I discovered that it's impossible to add anything else than Xiaomi devices as trusted bluetooth device, so I canĀ“t unlock screen with my car audio. This sucks big time and I just have to change 3rd party rom because of this. Really stupid feature.

Rog phone is my first asus phone, and it will be my last. It took asus 9 months to release the phone, and still it has so many flaws. The screen is clear and beautiful, but reacts slowly on touch. The antennas are horrible and a huge shame when the phone was built for gaming. Ui could have been built better and the gaming mode should be like Oneplus. The battery is 4000 mah, but the screen only last the same as Oneplus 6, which has only 3300 mah. The fingerprint scanner is placed and formed different, on the cost of unstable and slow scanner. You actually need to hold the finger on the scanner. Not like huawei, Oneplus and Samsung, where you just need to touch it.
So in my opinion. A waste of money. But I need to live with it now for 6 months.

Correct. Not unless you want an expensive gamer phone, not built for gaming.
consider there's still no updated twrp that can run with the latest firmware, which is kinda ironic on a bootloader unlocked phone, i'd say the community development strength is virtually DOA until further notice.

HI
I own this device since just some days.
The sensations are quite good, the overall use is smooth and solid, the interface is well usable, the camera pack is really ok and I can also
witness it resists in water (about one minute in 50cm of water, not a spontaneous test! )!
I use this as a camera phone. And its awesome.
Somewhat love it
Couldn't find "Realme 6 pro (overall) review" -thread, so I decided to post my overall impression here.
Using this phone for about 1 month now.
Body is very shiny, so you'll have to wipe it with a towel all the time due to fingerprints.
Alas, not all bloat-ware can be uninstalled. For example, a "Game Center" and an aggressive "App Market" app, (which pushes itself between you and your favorite Google Play Store) - both cannot be deleted from device easily... But bloat-ware is so common, you hardly expect to get a phone made by more cultured folk nowadays! On the brighter side, I found numerous useful new options in this phone, which are result of Android's improvement. (Of course, there are several good items from hardware category too, including x2 optical zoom etc., but they are advertised, so I knew about them prior to buying this model). Instead of repeating things which are mentioned by mobile-selling websites, I'd rather tell you here about really bad "surprises", which aren't mentioned in most reviews. For example, Android's Control Panel is, alas, at the top now, so forget about easy one-hand operations which you used to enjoy on your older phone. Well, there is "one-hand" special mode, but it is useless for me, cause it makes everything too small. Camera has three not-so-obvious problems: 1) slow-motion mode records somewhat blurred videos; 2) digital stabilizer doesn't work when it is most needed, that is - when we use zoom [even if it is only 2x -zoom..., alas, what to do?]; 3) worst thing: during video-recording, audio is being recorded in voice-activated mode (or is it super-noise cancellation?). Alas, you can't switch off this setting; as result, first letters of each phrase that you try so say in your video are being cut off. Simply put, you get abnormal soundtracks to all your videos.
Unfortunately, phone reviews which I've red on other websites prior to purchase, didn't mention these hidden shortcomings..
Battery discharges a bit faster than I expected after having another phone with same battery capacity. Even with 90Hz mode switched off I had to recharge my phone at least once per day. Of course all depends on how exactly you operate your phone most of the time. Well I use my phone for anything but gaming, and I use it for about 7-8 hours daily.
Brightness of screen under sunlight is almost zero, but here I mean really sunny day.
Other than this, I'm happy with Realme 6 Pro, cause it is not very expensive model anyway.. Of course there is no point in purchasing bad phone only because it is cheap. But Realme 6 Pro isn't that bad actually. Few camera-related problems can be solved by using other camera apps instead of factory app. Still, alas, there is no solution regarding blurred 60fps videos! But let us hope that things will get fixed in future updates. If you know of any other brand without mentioned problems for similar price, then perhaps you shouldn't buy Realme 6 Pro. As for me, I didn't know of better phone with similar price tag. This is how I got this strange fellow. Definitely it is good phone for most purposes.
For the price, everything :good: but the display

I agree display is too dark under sunlight. Sometimes I can't see what I'm actually filming.. But happily at least it has 90Hz mode. For reading news and other textual content it's a good phone. As regarding camera, it harbors three ugly "surprises" (I speak of them in my post above).
The best overall budget phone I've owned, bar none. Easy to root and recover from errors, especially with the excellent support here on XDA. I enjoy experimenting with android phones, and this one seems always to have a next level to do that and recover from seeming disasters.

Ease of use is great and nice for a budget phone and specs are nice compared to older Galaxy S7 Edge I use to have. Now, that budget phones are better than the S7 Edge, and starting to pass Galaxy S8 and above for prices.
The issue I have and can't find anywhere but would like to know how to fix, is the recent apps, when having any more than 3 apps, it starts to kick out apps out of recent apps automatically for no reason at all. I have never had this problem with Samsung devices but the TCL device does this and no setting works to stop that from happening. Battery Optimization to not optimize apps does nothing. The parental control is not even set. I think it is specific setting or something TCL did to the software, and no way to fix it. Would like to know how to keep apps I want in recent apps to actually stay when not doing anything to remove them. They just disappear when going back into recent apps, and have to reopen app because of this. It is annoying.
