Hello,
I have TWRP and can flash any rom. However I tested a few roms like Lineage 13 and they seem to reboot or crash on phone calls.
I would like to have a ROM near stock or other that just works, google play store is a plus if it works (maybe on lineage it does not work due root), but it is not needed, what is important is that phone calls work.
Anyone have a ROM? most stock versions on russian websites I found the links are broken, and even some custom roms links no longer work, or have these bugs.
Alcatel official software also does not work, if you can make it work please send me an image to flash.
If anyone still has the flashable ROM files please send it to me via PM or put links on this thread, thank you.

So I was able to install GF version 8 and but then I wasn't able to use WIfi.. I went back to reinstall and during the setup and selected the canadian version but this lead to the phone not booting up after installation.. This phone is the most problematic to use so far in my experience with custom roms.

Hey. I wonder if anyone around here has the stock ROM for this device? I don't mean a backup, I mean a CWM flashable ZIP or stock ROM image.

This is vanila stock rom without the custpack games/apps bloatware. I found it somewhere on the web and i've used it for a few days before trying MiUI V5.
It works perfectly but keep in mind that it's based on the 1st build version from TCT Firmware (010001) whereas the latest Firmware build is 010003 and that there are only a few select of languages to choose from.
On the build part, I don't even think there are any significant changes and most likely only minor bug fixes.
Just flash the zip with cwm or twrp. (The installer is in spanish, just ignore that you can use the phone in english)

just to give a feedback. DUALSIM is not working on both builds. LTE function fails. Made complete new flash, nothing helps...
Same applies to crDroid - build 20170802 - 7.1.2

I don´t know why dualsim function stopped working... I tried 2 builds each - Lineageos, Ressurection OS, crDroid ... going back to stock ROM, everthing works fine. I even searched through the net to get a suitable pit file.

And I could not find TWRP 3.0.0 as recommended, so I use 3.1.0 - I could not install SkiesROM, since it was maybe to large....

Here u get TWRP 3.0.0.0 for klte as recommended. Extract the zip before use. Use the .tar for Odin flash or the .img for flash through recovery. Tip: download twrp-app from Playstore. You'll find all downloadable content there.
I've read that going back from LOS / AOSP to SkiesROM is not possible without flashing a Stock Rom first. Make sure u have flashed the fitting bootloaders via Odin before u flash the Stock ROM. Suitable are the ROMS from ALEXNDR. They're prerooted and a good base to go further.

hey ! i want to flash fastboot rom , currently im on custom rom. please tell me what is the latest firmware for indian varrient & link also of firmware.
If you're on a custom rom, and that rom is an Oreo rom, you will need to apply the persist fix to make sure you don't have any problems when moving to stock (e.g. lost IMEI, no Volte, no 4G, etc). For the guide here:

Comes down to what you want to do with your phone. If you want to keep root access, then you may as well stick with the TWRP flashables, as the full stock firmware will not install OTAs if you are rooted. Quite often the TWRP flashable builds will be available sooner than a lot of people receive OTAs through official channels. That is, once one person receives the OTA and shares it with me, I build the next flashable zip normally within a couple of days (I'm the maintainer). The modifications are minimal - just disabling dm-verity and forced encryption (the latest Oreo flashables built on the Aroma installer make that optional).
If you want to lock the bootloader for any reason (e.g. in order to sell your phone, or you want to ensure the highest level of security) then you only really have one choice - full fastboot stock.

need help note 7 global updated to miui 12.5.3 after auto update and now wifi camera gsm not working for any rom downgraded from 12.5.3. none of these are working for even custom rom and official roms, only with official global miui 12.5.3 does the wifi camera and gsm work again. please need desperate help have looked for solution everywhere but couldnt find help even after flashing oldcam new cam kernels and separately installing foirmware files for the drivers.
nothing is working flashing via miFlash tool or twrp or anything for that matter flashing official rom via the official way absolutely nothing. please need help must downgrade back to anything but MIUI 12 it is a nightmare using such a horribly made rom

before i do im not quite sure what vendor images are. my note 7 is the global version, which image should i be flashing? thanks
flashed vendor imgae of the version i want installed still the same situation, gsm wifi camera only working on layest miui 12.5.3 only, need help
even tried xiaomi.eu roms nothing works no way to downgrade and get camera wifi or anything signal based working!
