[Q] Stuck in bootloop, recovery access intermittent - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge Questions & Answer

Hey guys, just picked up a G935T from my sister since it wasn't working for her after a fall.
So. It rarely boots all the way into the GUI, and it'll reboot within seconds of getting that far.
Tried booting to recovery, only gets there about once every 20 attempts. Download mode works okay.
Figured I'd flash a new recovery, but I can't because the BL is locked, it fails out almost immediately.
Figured I'd flash the latest BL...anyone have a link to that? Ideally I don't want to factory reset just yet because my sister would still like to recover the data she has on this thing.
Thanks in advance!
(Meanwhile, I told her to get an F model next time. )

Nobody, huh?

Try looking up on youtube how to unlock bootloader, I have a TMobil locked Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge and it wouldn't root regular had to flash it and to flash it I had to have a customed recovery so i used TWRP 3.3.1.0-zerolte.img and md5 etc worked like a sword taken off the fire and put through a cow, "easy" flash TWRP,Romed with Lineage 15.0 which is 9 Pie, opengapps64x full,Aroma Debloater for commercial programs to take out, Uninstaller Galactica to uninstall system programs to like google apps, etc., and to top off customed boot logo animation Marvel comics intro. So yea if you need help on links message me..........

Stuck in bootloop after un-installing Flipboard

I'm usually fairly good at troubleshooting my own stuff but this really has me stuck in the same place for a few hours now.
So basically Flipboard has been nagging me(well play store is, not the app itself but anyway) so I said to myself why don't I uninstall it since I've never used it and don't plan to, and besides I hate to have pointless apps installed. So I open TitaniumBackup and I see it is installed as a system app, I thought what's the worst that can happen? so I do uninstall it and a minute later my phone shuts off. I try to turn it on and it doesn't go past the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 flash screen, it either reboots or stays like that.
I try to go into recovery to restore a backup and I can't, it is stuck at Recovery Booting and again it either stays like that or reboots and does it again and again and again.
Now, I haven't made any changes or installs on my phone for weeks now, so this is either because I unistalled Flipboard(I know I shouldn't have risked it since it was a system app but I really could not see it going this way) or the hardware is on it's way out(don't see what else could it be).
I figured I should flash a stock rom with odin, I can get into download mode, and reinstall everything from scratch.
I took a stock image from xda and flashed it and it does exactly the same thing.
Right now I'm downloading another stock image from sammobile for my country/provider to see if this will change anything.
What else can I try? I'm completely stuck and I really don't want to send the phone back like this, I doubt amazon is gonna be happy about it.
Specs:
N910F
Emotion Revolution 12.1 Rom
POK1 BL&CP
TWRP 2.8.7.0
Really sorry for the double-post. I'm quite desperate and need my phone for work.
Since last post I've tried flashing N910FXXU1COH4_N910FH3G1COH3_H3G.zip through Odin from SamMobile and it did the same thing with rebooting constantly.
Then I've installed Kies and went to Tools -> Firmware Upgrade and Initialisation and gave it the model and S/N and it downloaded something and everything went all right, the phone reboots and I'm back in the same circle, it just shows me the splash screen(in some video's I've seen that after this procedure they get the splash screen and then the android bot with a progress bar, I don't get that, I only get the splash screen and reboot) and reboots.
I thought this was a last resort thing? Is the phone completely dead or is there something I can try?
Again sorry for the double-post.
Update: still no progress so I've contacted Amazon and they said to send it back so hopefully this works out in the end, no matter how annoying the waiting time will be, if you do have any suggestions on what I should try please let me know as I haven't posted the phone yet.

Galaxy S5 Stuck On Splash Screen with Set Warranty Bit: kernel ---please help

First post, So hey everyone
So I rooted my phone around 6 months ago with CF Auto Root, everything went fine but i was still on stock ROM. So then i found the Alliance ROM and decided to flash that because it looked cool. I flashed it using FlashFire to ensure I keep root. Everything worked and booted just fine, really smooth and of course it looked awesome. One small problem though, I could not send messages but I could receive them. Probably a SMSC (that was around 3 hours of head ache attempting to fix that) issue or because Straight Talk didn't like my phone using Android 5.0. So then I tried downgrading to Alliance 4.4.2, NOPE. That was the end of my phone :'(
Im now stuck on the Galaxy S5 screen with "Set Warranty Bit: Kernel" in the top right. No idea how to fix it and obviously knox was tripped but that isnt a huge deal to me.
I have tried the following.
1. Tried to reroot (seemed to fix a lot of issues actually)
2. Tried to reflash Alliance ROM android 5.0
3. Multiple cache and system wipes.
4. Installed TWRP through Odin but thats useless because I was dumb and deleted my back up in the system wipe
Im currently downloading stock ROM but my hope for that is fading judging that TWRP even stalls out and the phone reboots right when it attempts to flash. - well this was a bust, there are 4 freaking md5 files. when i go to flash with odin it says it a modem and then fails
What i have access to:
1. Recovery
2. Download
Is my phone already 6ft under or is it hanging on for dear life?
Edit: Should also mention that my galaxy is a SM-G902L (Straight Talks' model???). CF Auto Root for Galaxy SM-900F was used to root. So that is what i based my choice for model when installing Alliance
Ok so recent update, When I go into reboot and do system or whatever, it says there's no OS installed. I guess that would make sense why it doesn't want to boot, because there's nothing to boot into... but why cant i install any OS through odin???
Another Update: So I have no OS, I know how to flash a new OS, such as a custom ROM, but my phone refuses to accept the flash whether through odin or through TWRP.... W.T.F. Did i really look my phone down? And I guess that means that I will need to get the Straight Talk variant of Android 4.4.2 Great If anyone has the a backup and they are on straight talk, please help me out
Thanks for the help!
FIXED!!!
So after around 14-16 total hours of headaches, I have managed to bring my phone out of the grave. I read over the Straight Talk Variant Galaxy S5 thread multiple times and saw people saying that most Verizon ROMs work decently if not perfectly fine with the SM-G902L. So I downloaded M.O.A.R ROM and flashed through TWRP.
Worked like a freaking charm!! She booted right up, into the waterspout boot animation, and after a very long 5 minutes, I got to the welcome and setup screens!! I guess it was just a matter of finding the right ROM. I just find it kind of weird that it would flash Alliance just fine and then not allow it the second time...
Anyway, the very helpful thread that saved my phone

N910F problems - emmc read fail/ flashing stock no longer boots the phone.

Hello. I had gotten this Note 4 phone which had a custom recovery installed on it but the rom seemed to be official, on 5.1
The first thing I did was go to samfirmware and flash a 6.0.1 rom, it went fine, phone was working properly. Then I got greedy and wanted to test a Note 7 ported rom. Flashed TWRP recovery and from within I flashed RamROM http://forum.xda-developers.com/note-4/snapdragon-dev/rom-sm-n910g-ramrom-t3400349 , I downloaded the one from post#2 , the N910F one that my phone is and after it flashed to ROM it simply stopped working. My phone no longer booted, was booting me directly into Download mode with emmc read error. I kept trying to flash the stock rom which I previously flashed and it would fail.
Afterwords I used Smart Switch to reinitialize the phone, writing my phones S/N and that failed as well but at least that made my phone boot into a different recovery where it said to connect to Kies. Once again I used Smart Switch and this time it was successful 100%. My phone even booted into the OS and was working, however, while using it, after 10 minutes the phone restarted into Download mode with emmc read error.
So all in all the phone is functional but it starts to lag and restart. Now I'm kinda stuck again since I've tried to flash the firmware I got from Samfirmware through Odin, it succeded but it just doesn't boot, it goes to Recovery, tries to apply an update and I get an error.
Is there anything I can do? I can't believe the emmc could've broken just from trying to flash that custom rom, especially that afterwards I was even able to boot into the phone.
Thanks for reading and I appreciate the help.

read this - http://forum.xda-developers.com/note-4/help/note-4-issues-t3453048
there are links to more threads related to your issue.
Short version though:
it is dying. install wake lock application, add it to start up and set settings to #4.
accept the fact that your phone will eat the battery faster and one day WILL die completely
Thanks for your response. Regarding the Wake lock application, I'm starting to look into it, I asume I'll have to be rooted. I'll try to recover it again using Smart Switch and then I can only hope I can install TWRP and still have it functional.
Previously when I was able to get it working with Smart Switch, entering the recovery messed everything up. It said it was applying an update and that got stuck.

no need to be rooted, just download, install and set it to autostart
I'll try it if I somehow manage to get the phone working again, Smart Switch just fails now midway through.

Is this the app you're talking about? https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=eu.thedarken.wl&hl=en
What exactly does it do?
I managed to restore it eventually with Smart Switch, it took quite a few tries, then I switched to my Macbook when I saw the app was available on it too and the 3rd try succeded. I only did it because I saw the 2nd try had the % much higher than the first.

yes, that is the app.
i've read it does not allow your phone to go to sleep mode.
drains the battery faster, but this is the only way to keep note 4 working without swapping its motherboard...
I have a question, my gf recently bought a note 4 and we may swap our phones and if we do, i'll flash CM and tinker with it because i find this phone very interesting, just a question, does this bug affect the N910C (exynos) model? Do i have something to worry about? Because the phone is warrianty protected and if it's the case, i don't want to break it. I hope someone will shed some light on this

Is my phone bricked?

Hi!
So i've recently had some issues with my Samsung galaxy s8+
With the introduction of the new Pie Beta update i thought it would be cool to try it out!
I had to downgrade my firmware and so i did via ODIN.
This failed initially duo to a bad cable, i quickly replaced with OEM one.
Alright! We are able to boot into the OS, i stuck my SD card in the phone and updated its firmware succesfully.
HOWEVER; My phone would reboot once in a while out of nowhere and i figured i was on a Beta that might cause issues
started removing all of my apps in hopes it would help. Unfortunately in either safe mode OR clean factory wipe.. I was still running into reboots.
Alright ok, eventho no one on the forum complained about reboots.. I'll take my loss and i'll just flash back to stock..
However; it seems like the phone just freezes up now in everything!
Freezes up in Download mode; Freezes up during boot of new OS
i was able to reflash via ODIN by the way it just wont let me load into the OS. I've tried different ROMS
I can't wrap my head around it!
Should i just take my loss and buy a pixel 3 ? i was hoping to extend my contract with the new Samsung Galaxy S10+ but i can't do without a phone for a month.
Thank you in advance!
UPDATE:
I've succesfully been able to load into the OS at the moment. Let's see how long this lasts!
Aaand about 6 Minutes later i get a reboot
Yeaaah, it's dead.. After rebooting more and more frequent
It doesn't turn on anymore.

Need help installing Lineage OS 18.1

Hi!
(Note: Please skip to the third paragraph if you don't want to read my entire useless lifestory lol)
So... Around September-ish 2022 I got an S5 Neo that was previously owned by a good friend of mine, she gave it to me because she didn't need it anymore and I was stuck without a phone for a while because my daily (iPhone 6S) was tragically killed after I accidently dropped in the sea.
Anyways, the S5 Neo I got had Lineage OS 18.1 (Android 11) on it and it was really nice to use thanks to how light that ROM was, fast forward to January 2023 and I got a new phone to replace the dead 6S of mine and the stopgap S5 Neo, but I decided to still use the S5 Neo every now and then as a secondary phone or a testing phone, for custom ROM's, recoveries, and that kind of fun stuff. I successfully installed the latest stock software it supported and tried a few things I wanted to try, like the camera for example, I wanted to see if the camera would be better on the stock Android compared to Lineage OS, etc.
But after I installed the stock software for the S5 Neo I was unable to revert back to LineageOS due to my lack of knowledge with how this all works, I assume I got the "revert to original software" part right because it's a simple "Download Odin, download the software for your phone, put it in download mode, boom it's done", but every time I tried it with LineageOS it doesn't want to work.
My main issue is trying to install TWRP or Lineage Recovery using Odin, I tried to be fast, tried the remove battery trick, the hold power button for 10 seconds then hold buttons for recovery when out of download mode, I tried everything, can someome please help?
The problem I am facing is that when I hold the buttons to go into recovery when it's in download mode when the recovery is successfully loaded, it doesn't go into recovery, and when I remove the battery and install it again and press buttons to go to recovery (A guide I read said that) it just got stuck on the flashscreen forever (Not bootloop, just "Samsung Galaxy S5 Neo" flashscreen stuck), and only got unstuck when I removed the battery again or went into download mode and said no, restarting the device, and at which point I think I have the original OS still but actually funnily enough no recovery whatsoever, not the normal one or the TWRP recovery, so yeah I really need help
I am open to any suggestions for methods that are simpler for a noob to me to go through to install a custom ROM, my goal is to install LineageOS, not to install TWRP. Thanks!!!

I would just follow the official installation instructions. Read through them once before you follow them and you should be fine. Let me know if you have any questions regarding flashing it (Don't worry, I remember my first flashing ).
