from flashing blue led & black unresponsive screen -> no led & phone not powering on
Hi,
I was charging my s7edge and when i returned, i found it to have a blinking blue/purple led light. After 10hrs since I saw it like that, the LED finally stopped -- presumably because no more charge is left in the battery (though it was around 90% when I put it to charge). Now it doesnt even turn on, and there's no led coming on at all. What's wrong and how do I proceed from here?
Thanks

Crazy LEDs

Hey guys
This morning I woke up and both LEDS were on my phone, blue and green. I unplugged the phone and the leds stayed on. They change colors, red orange green blue goes to yellow or something.
What is going on? I tried pulling the battery out, as SOON as the phone is on this starts happening, I fear its a hardware problem.
Thanks
Joe

Notification LED signal permanent amber!

Hello,
since last night i noticed a constantly glowing of the amber LED on the power button.
Normally it starts lighting when i charge the device, but now it lights up permanantly (without charging), only a little bit weaker in comparison to the amber light while charging...
Any idea why it starts glowing all the time?
Thanks
Try a soft reset.
Hi,
i´ve tried a soft- an a hard reset - no change...
A few minutes ago the amber led stopped lighting - everything seems to bo ok for now.
Strange
Insert Twilight zone tune...

Notice Lights 1 or 2?

At the top of the phone you have what i thought were 2 lights, the left turning amber when charging and green when fully charged, when the phone is on normal standby i thought it flashed periodically, does it cos mine does not? secondly the other side which is a 'light sensor' but i thought this went blue when bluetooth was activated, again mine does not, my phone is Brand new with 6.5 preinstalled, is my phone faulty? i am sure on previous HTC models the right side was a 'blue light' so to clarify when my phone is in normal 'standby' there are NO lights, the only lights are on the left side which go amber when charging and solid green when fully charged and flashes green when there is a missed call or sms, the right side appears just to be a 'sensor' Is this all correct.
Any clarification will be much appreciated.
Thanks
GD
On the left you have a LED, which behaves in the way you wrote, except for the fact that it flashes when you have a missed call or a new message, not during normal stand-by. On the right is a light sensor which, of course, will never flash nor become blue when bluetooth is active.

[Q] Red LED stays on

A dimmed Red LED stays on all the time on my Galaxy S4. If i turn the phone off it still stays on until i pull the battery out and as soon as i put the battery back in the Red LED turns back on. It's not bright red like when you connect the charger, its dimmed down. I almost sure this is a hardware issue but not sure exactly where and i no longer have warranty. (notes: screen is cracked from the bottom near the home button, not other damages) Any one have had this issue?
Thank you!

[Q] [LG G2][5.0.1]LED bugs

Hello everyone,
I upgraded my device from kitkat to lollipop some time ago (to 5.0.1) but lately i've had some problems with the ROM. These bugs are mostly not very annoying, but the LED bug is. Sometimes when i get a notification and read it, the LED doesn't stop flashing till i turn off LED notifications in the settings menu. This is also for charging battery (phone is charging (with red LED) -> fully charges so LED turns green -> I disconnect -> red LED still on). This counts for both front and back LED.
How can i fix this? Is there a fix at all? Or do i have to wait till further updates on the device?
MartinoNL
PS i find it weird that you can only turn off the notification led for charging for the front LED, not the back LED
PPS i am a phone noob so explain stuff a little bit easier if things have to get complicated to fix
for me, when this bug appears just put the phone in do not disturb mode and put it normal again, the led stop blinking

thanks for replying and yes this is indeed a temporary fix but doing this (or switching the LED notification on and off) gets quite annoying after 25% of the notifications. that is why i want to fix it. i dont want to turn the led off since i do want to see the notifications
