Exynos but it's Globe locked from the Phils.
it really does depend on region.
in the US almost no flagship phones ever gotten free cases or preinstalled screen protectors. samsung only started doing the screen protectors this year.
I believe recent oneplus phones are the only flagship specced phones with US warranty one can get that comes with a free case? Maybe some of the asus ones too.

International versions tend to have them. My OnePlus 7Pro had a clear case. It's pretty cheesy but hey if you don't have anything at least you start with some protection, right?
Oh and the film over the screen isn't much of a protector. Sure it will prevent micro scratches from dirty fingers at the beach (and the film itself will show horrible scratches, like deeper grooves at a level 3!) but in no shape or form will it prevent shattering/cracking from a face down drop on a sidewalk.
I'm assuming only International version gets this and not US?

Exynos, Poland, no case
Depends on the region.. we got it in india.. other Asian countries also have them I guess..
I think only third world countries get a free case. Latin American version also comes with free clear case
F/DS version came with it... But it isn't much good on a black phone. The one that came with the S10+ was a harder clear version and they was better for a glossy phone IMHO
I didn't get one ?. Exynos version unlocked (puchased on samsung.com) SM-G975FCWGXEF (note10+) 512Go.
They mentioned a case in the package list on the product page in the samsung shop when i purchased the phone.
I got one, but I change to a case with transparant back to show aura glow

Perhaps it's useful to include where the device is made. I know Samsung mobile devices are made in different countries and I've seen South Korea, Vietnam and pretty sure China and probably others. I prefer South Korea and haven't had any issues with past devices.
My galaxy note 3 does the exact same thing. Should I get a replacement? I have the N9005 Model . I bought mine in Australia

- Made In Korea by Samsung
- Made In Vietnam by Samsung
- Made In China (by Samsung)
- Made by Samsung: possible China or Vietnam. If you are in Europe, it's mean Vietnam. If you are un other like HongKong, Arab ... it's China!
Vietnam usually has worse assembly quality than China as manufactures just started recently to establish factories over there for lower costs.

As I know about S2, S3, Note 2 quality, Vietnam made are better than China made. Samsung factory in Vietnam also is the biggest in the world. But I think we need more examples this time about Note 3 QC
My note 3 made in vietnam. Home button is perfect
N9005 - Australian version Made in Vietnam. Button moves slightly, not as much as yours though.
My phone is made is Vietnam and my home button is not a tight fit.
Also, I was the first one to point it out in my thread here, which I created on 25th Sept after receiving the phone.

I have a T-Mobile variant of the Galaxy Note 3. I dropped it slightly and the whole thing shattered, LED screen cracked as well. I am looking to purchase a replacement and I see original ones on eBay but they were taken off of the CDMA versions of the phone (either Verizon or Sprint). If I were to purchase one, would it work on mine?

I'm able to do it myself. I just wanted to know before I purchased one.
If they are as generic as stated, then yeah no reason you couldn't do it yourself. - It isn't an easy feat from what I have seen though. - Best thing to do would be email Samsung or a phone shop and ask if the screens are indeed compatible for all models just to be safe.
I'm not able to find a original samsung screen replacement for the Note 3. Anyone know of a legit shop or site that sells them?
Never purchased one myself, but just did a quick search on google.. this place looks okay, dont take my word for it though, i did not research the seller. They are advertised as OEM parts though.

I am curious if anyone has the Dot View cover for M9+ and how do you like it? I am in the US and the only source I can find is eBay and there are several different makes. Do you need an OEM one to get all the functions?

I love the HTC dot view 2 but i am so disappointed because I brought the genuine for m9 and i had it for 3-4weeks then its decided to broke by itself. I had to return it and get new one. And its broken again after 3 weeks. I dont want to get it again for my m9+.
Fake Ebay Dot view cover still works for all the functions.

It costed me US$10 to buy two HTC M9+ dot view covers and two screen protectors and had them shipped to Hong Kong.
Unfortunately the website is only in Chinese. You may have to use Google Translate to translate it into English.
Better use WangXin (a messenger app) to chat with the seller and make sure he / she ships it overseas to Europe / US. It is ridiculously cheap. I have been using it for 3 months already. No problem so far!

I got one from Hong Kong ebay finally, it's not original HTC, but with HTC logos on it, it was called 'genuine' on the ebay, but clearly it's a copy of the original. I'm not yet sure how long it will last but so far it works like expected, tho it made the phone a two hand experience, as the cover on this one is always going back if i don't keep it open.
I still carry my leather belt poach for rougher rides like with my bike, so to keep it extra safe, but the flip cover seems to give just enough protection for everyday stuff. Tho' i wouldn't drop it, i think it still wouldn't help that
Now I've used the genuine fake from Hong Kong and it's working well, seems it will last a few months.
To have a no flip cover too, I've ordered a nillkin 0.6mm transparent matte. It's got a firm grip on the sides with rough surface where you hold it on the side. It's letting the look of the phone show well. Plugs the USB and Jack against dust. It was a few dollars on eBay.

So, of course we are all delighted there's the beautiful black version of the i3, but what about the soft gold and metallic silver versions? So far there isn't much known about them, no release dates whatsoever. I am definitely eager to snatch up the gold version when it arrives.

That white one looks awesome. Not a fan of white phones but that looks gorgeous. I'm good with the black version since it's in a case so I probably won't see me upgrading to the white version if released.

Yes sorry, meant the silver. It looks like a whiter shade in the image in the first post. Though if they did release a white version, I'm sure it'd be just as smexy.

I've had my silver 6045Y for close to a month now, so at least in Europe they should be in stock. I would have liked the gold one, but the Finnish distributor had only the black and silver ones in stock (and had received those only a few hours before). Since my Note II had taken its last leap off a chair the night before, I was happy to settle with the silver phone.
And yes, it is purrty. No links by lurkers though, sorry.

Interesting. Do you have a link? I don't understand why Alcatel seems to be rather slow with releasing the new colors. I mean, why only make the 4.7 version available in silver?

No links allowed before 10 posts (again, lurker here), but I bought mine from the Finnish operator Elisa. Maybe the Y model has better availibility in different colours, dunno.
These are still almost impossible to find, as they are quite impossible to find here in Europe. So a store in Finland has them and one in France. I tried calling and mailing them but they seem to know less than us... Real professional.

Any of you chaps in the US/CA have any recommendations for screen protectors? Seems like the consensus on these forums is that the Samsung OEM protectors fit/work the best, but those are pretty rare to find especially since they didn't make it over to NA.
Currently I'm seeing plenty of IQ Shield and Skinomi protectors on a certain bay site, will probably give those a shot first. Would prefer a full tempered glass one but we all know how well those work on these $#[email protected]#%! curved-screen phones...
I plan to use the phone in a case (a Spigen Slim Armor).
I got a best skins ever matte case friendly screen protector and it works well.
