Nokia X6 6GB RAM version TA-1099, restore to China ROM - Nokia 6.1 Plus (X6) Questions & Answers

I got a Nokia X6 from AliExpress and I wanted the Chinese version without Google services. But the seller shipped it with a Nokia 6.1 Plus firmware with Google services. Although the hardware is a Nokia X6 TA-1099 the software says TA-1083. Is there a way to go back to the Chinese ROM which the device originally shipped with?

XDA II in the US Forum Launch

Hi,
Since I started my personal site (http://bugjr.com/jon), many people have emailed me and PMed me here asking questions about my use of an i-mate in the US (i.e. will it work on us carriers, etc..). Its getting to the point that I feel a unified database of XDA II in US wouldn't be a bad idea, so I've started a small forum on my personal site specifically for questions regarding XDA II use in the US. Hopefully we can start answering these questions so people can feel a bit safer buying it for use here when its not even sold here.
Head on over and register if you want to claim your username on yet another (very small) forum!
And as always, I'll still be around here for answering as many Q's as I can.

Please Read: Rules for Hardware Hacking forum

In general this forum should be used for questions, answers, progress reports, and tools pertaining to development boards and non-device-specific hardware. This forum should be used for development relating to the hardware of devices and in many circumstances dealing with families of devices.
Questions pertaining to rooting and installing custom ROMs will be deleted imediately or moved to their respective device forums. No device-specific questions should be asked.
This forum is not a place to ask questions about operation or hacking of operating systems. Topics relating to bricking, bootloops, and other software related topics should not be here. Threads of this topic will be prompty deleted or removed to its specific forums.
If you want information, you must provide your own research first. Datasheets, Web-Pages, references.. If you would like a how-to JTAG or UnBrickable Mod guide be prepared to send your device or work with someone who can help.
Generally threads will be tagged with the related hardware ie... [hummingbird] [OMAP 36xx] [FSA928] or Series of related hardware [GalaxyS]. Software tools should have a descriptive tag [Source], [Tool], [Program] or [Release] and [Windows], [Linux], [Mac] or [Cross-Platform].
It is permissible to post non-original work as long as proper credit is given to the original author. The thread may be moved to general or deleted if the original author would like to take control of the discussion thread. This policy is applicable for this forum only as several tools are created during the development process of a piece of hardware and discarded, forgotten or left unsupported upon release.
Please keep in mind, this forum is for discussing hardware and methods of interface and/or modification. While the discussions may stray into specific devices, it is best to contain individual device related topics in their respecive forums.
With that said, please discuss hardware topics. It's nice to finally have a place we can go to and chat about cross-device hardware.
I think I might have posted my question in the wrong topic thread. How can I move it to it's proper place?

First of all, I want to tell you that, I absolutely agreed with what you had mentioned in this post.
Truly a serious forum to go through.
Thanks for clearcut rules!. I have been visiting XDA-Developers from more than a year. Yet, I did not get much opportunity to ask or to share. Somebody would always be there before me. This is not a disadvantage, it keeps the forum clean. I shall post only when it is crucial and relevant.

[SHARE][RESULTS OUT]LineageOS Summer Survey #2 [2018][OFFICIAL][*CLOSED*]

*****SUMMER SURVEY #2 (2018)*****
*****THE SURVEY IS NOW CLOSED (03-SEP-2018)*****
Summer Survey 2 (2018) Results by jrizzoli <05-Nov-2018> - Official LineageOS Blog
I just wanted to spread the word that the latest LineageOS Blog, that was written on 02 August 2018, was regarding a Survey they call their "Summer Survey 2 - Attack of the feedbacks".
I, personally, encourage as many members as possible to take. This is a GREAT way for providing valuable feedback to the Lineage Team.
Even if you don't/can't use the LineageOS for your device and want to make it known, then this is one way of doing so (as long as you have a device capable of installing a Custom ROM).
Here's just a taste of their Blog Announcement:
"While the project’s development proceeds, we think it’s important to take a moment and get some feedback from our users. It has been decided to create a simple survey, instead of collecting on-device metrics, to help us improve LineageOS in the right direction without wasting resources on things that our userbase is not interested in.
The survey is really simple and we won’t collect any sensitive information... "
Here's 2 ways of talking the survey:

Thank you for your time and I hope the voices of the masses ring a bell for you with your feedback!
You can also tell them how awesome "Ibuprophen" is... LMAO!

Thank you for the heads up!
I hope that I helped them in some way to get valuable feedback to make a LineageOS better for future releases.
This thread will be closed until the next time the Lineage Team opens up another round of surveys.
A special thanks to everyone who had participated in the survey!

***** NEW SURVEY ANNOUNCED *****
A new year and a new survey just announced.
I'm not sure how long it will be open for but, if you would like your voice to be heard, then I would like to STRONGLY encourage as many individuals as possible to take this survey.
It takes only a few minutes and is really not drawn out at all. There's even a place to air your concerns at the end as well.
I just figured that, Instead of opening up another thread, I'll just reopen this one and update the information.
Thank you very much for your time and understanding with this announcement and I wish you the best of luck!

I've never experienced this personally but, I have seen others do this using a few methods.
I can't state (honestly) what method will or won't work but, the following is just 1 thread I've seen that may be where you can obtain some guidance with this.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3190613
I'm not sure if @curiousrom knows what/how to do this but, it doesn't hurt to ask...
Though there's nothing wrong with posting this question on a new thread the way you did but, you can always try to obtain some member guidance within the following Q&A thread that's specific to your device and variants.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2700073
I would suggest/recommend not to post this question elsewhere unless/until your unable to obtain guidance on this thread after approximately 7-10 days.
This is only because the XDA Moderators frown upon duplicate posts of the same question in various places at the same time.
Just a little helpful guidance/hint for you.
Good Luck!

Welcome.
It's nothing to do with where you're from, I've asked several very clearly worded questions here and no-one has answered any of them. I also see many other new people arriving here and asking sensible questions, they get no answers either, it's definitely not you!
