I am not sure this is the correct place to post this so tell me if i should post is somewhere else!
I have a problem with my moto g4 plus running lineage os 14.1 (android 7.1.2.) I am not receving push notifications from discord at all and receving gmail push notifications about 5 hours after the email has been send. especialy the discord app is important for my work. Only when i open the app does is sync and does it "receive" the new messages.
I think the problem is with linegae os because i installed discord on another phone (moto e2 running stock andriod) with precisely the same inapp settings and push notifications work on that phone .
Things i have done to try to fix it:
restart phone
reinstall discord app
reinstall gapps stock version
changed battery setting for discord to not optimise
giving discord unlimited data (4g)
any suggestions that could fix my problem?

I've been having problems with images on athene (Moto G4 Plus) latest nightly on april 3 2017 version. Applications such as Whatsapp, Facebook Messenger, Google Photos, and even the stock Gallery don't show new images (except for screenshots and photos taken with the camera). For example: if I download some image from Facebook or Reddit, it'll only appear after a reboot or a Clear Data on Media Storage app info (although they are accessible manually through file managers). Also happens with music. and I have already tried reflashing Lineage OS. Is anyone else experiencing this problem? Any fixes I could make? Or is my SD Card the culprit? (haven't tested with another one). pls help me out
I can't login to Outlook android App: "An Error Occurred" right after I put in my e-mail ...
I can't login to Skype for business: "you have an incompatible version of Chrome app." ... But trying to update does nothing. Also I have the latest Chrome app ... so not sure what that means.
I can't login to Sharepoint: "could not verify your organization's certificate" ... no idea what this means
I was using a Oneplus 2 with Lineage OS before I updated to the Oneplus 5 with Oxygen OS ... I have a feeling its something to do with Oxygen OS since I had no troubles before ... Anyone have these apps installed and working fine on your Oxygen OS? maybe I wrong?
I know I can use other apps for my E-mail Exchange Server account: Gmail & Nine would like a charm ... but I can't really replace my Skype for Business ... or my Sharepoint.
I tried updating the "Android System Webview" from the playstore ... and I can click "Enable" only after clicking it like 5-10 times ... and it installs ... and then somehow uninstalls itself and goes back to the "Enable" button ... super weird.
Any help appreciated.
OK, I fixed the Outlook App by manually adding the settings. Server is "outlook.office365.com"
still issues with the other apps though ...

Ok, so one plus & Oxygen OS are perfectly capable of running exchange apps. I have it working just fine now. It was a certificate issues with our IT Dept which got resolved at the source. For anyone looking into this, this is the answer. Thanks, no-one for even responding! Kidding, love you guys anyway.

with oneplus 6t if I silence the group notification on whatsapp (and I try to disable from "Apps & Permissions" too) when I receive the first group notification, the phone vibrates and the settings "Group Notification" in the "Apps & Permission" will get back to enabled.
Instead in Whatsapp are silenced as I set before.
I tried to wipe cache from recovery boot, clear storage and cache data from whatsapp, reinstall it... but nothing works.
I saw on the notification in the bottom part a label with X categories deleted... what does it mean?
Any suggestion?
Where can I found the settings of whatsapp in the folders (and if I need to root it, I will do)?
I have Oxygen 9.0.5 and whatsapp 2.18.341

I have a Samsung Galaxy S3 i9300, which I have updated to LOS 14.1, changing filesystems /Data and /Cache to F2S2. The handset runs so fast and smooth. I only have found a bug, which I describe next:
Whatsapp do not sincronize with Drive. Througouth the day Whatsapp keeps asking several times my updating frecuency (Never, daily, weekly, monthly, etc...) and my google account, where the backups will be uploaded.
Could you please review my logs and advise?

hello friend, this problem is because rom has a bug in permissions .. to solve do the following please install whatsapp again but don't open it .. first go to settings - apps - permissions give all permissions to whatsapp and after that restart the device .. now it will sync smoothly

I got LineageOS 18.1 (nightly build 2022-02-01) + Gapps nano working on my Redmi Note 7 the other night.
However, I've been running into trouble when trying to restore my Whatsapp backup.
I've installed Google Drive (not included in nano) and when I start the app, it will detect my Drive no problem.
However, when trying to restore my Whatsapp backup, my active google account is not detected. When I try to reenter the credentials in the dialogue, I get an error message along the lines of "that account is already registered on this device" and I can't proceed.
I've noticed that Google Drive (as well as Google Play Services and Whatsapp) only has the permission "Access to media only" (so not to files) enabled and I can't upgrade the permission, maybe that's part of the problem?
As a workaround, I've been trying to copy the old /Whatsapp folder into /storage/emulated/0/. Unfortunately, WA won't detect those old databases. I am not able to edit WAs permissions before the first startup, as was suggested in a post I found about a similar issue online.
Is there a solution that I am not seeing? Preferably one that does not involve me reinstalling the OS, since I've (foolishly) already transfered my banking apps to the device and it's a bit of a pain to set them up again.
