Replaced Galaxy Tab 8.4 battery. Not recognizing new battery. - Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2, 10.1, 8.4 General

I took apart the galaxy tab 8.4 to put in a new battery.
Now when I plug it in, it says empty, and then it says 100%.
No inbetween. Also it does not boot up or turn on. It is stuck on the battery screen.
If I remove the battery completely and plug it into USB it gives the same message of 0% and 100%.
What to do?

Where did you get the battery? I would ask for a replacement or a refund. I got mine from Amazon and didn't have this problem (I wish we could just order originals from Samsung BTW).

My Tab losses all it's charge at once!

Hi,
I'm having a strange problem with my Tab's battery, it losses all the charge at once (screenshot attached).
When that happens the device won't turn on or charge when I plug it in, it shows a red battery sign with a yellow triangle. It stays like this for 10 to 20 minutes then starts charging, when the charging starts I can turn it on.
Has any one faced the same issue? I tried a factory reset and installing the system again, but that didn't help.
My device is P6800 (WiFi+3G) and I'm on the stock ROM.
Thanks ..
Can any one tell me if it's software or hardware related?
It sounds like the behavior of fake/counterfeit batteries that you could buy from evertop.co.uk, which gives incorrect reading during discharge and goes down immediately when out.
Of course Samsung shouldn't have bought a counterfeit battery from evertop.co.uk for you so I guess it is a quality problem with your battery, as such you should send it back to Samsung with evidence for repair.
I suggest you take action asap, as incorrect battery readings could damage your tablet. In your case sudden shutdown without proper shutdown sequence could seriously fragment your internal storage.

Nexus 4 wont charge. Help!!

About a month ago, my nexus 4 battery was acting weird. The device would just turn off and when i looked at the battery app, it would just show the battery being drained then showing it at the regular percent when it booted back up. Eventually it just died and wouldnt turn back on and when i plugged it in it showed the solid red light. Nothing I did made it change from a solid red light so i ordered a new battery for it. So now I order a battery and switch them out. It shows the charging animation and when I go to turn it on it says google for a second then the red light flashes once then shows the charging animation. No matter how long i have it plugged in, it will not turn on. I can hold the volume down button while turning it on and it goes to that menu and doesnt die/restart, but if i choose any of the options then it will do it for a second then die, showing the charging animation. I had stock everything and never rooted it. Any help would be super awesome and thank you for your time in trying to help me out.
Send it back to LG for warranty. You don't mention if the old battery was tested or not. My girlfriend's old Galaxy S1 stopped charging. We ordered a 2nd battery and external charger for it for under $20. My guess was that something in the circuitry of the USB port was shot since it also would no longer sync through USB. But she was out of warranty.
Since the N4 hasn't been out for a year yet then it is still under warranty - I'd say this is the time to use it.

Galaxy S5 - issue when I plugged in to charge and now won't turn on after failed boot

So Sunday night, my phone as at 34% charge, I went to plug it in with the same Samsung charger I've always used and I noticed a moment later it started to re-boot itself. Found it odd but then it was stuck at the white "T-Mobile" screen for some time, and I removed the battery to re-boot and this time stayed at the Samsung screen. Following troubleshooting tips, I removed the battery and held the power button down for 30 seconds, replaced the battery and tried to power on and now it won't do anything. No boot, no load, no power. Unable to even use recovery mode. I tried 3 usb chargers all with no sign of life on the device.
Thought perhaps the battery was shot, went to two t-mobile stores who were no help, eventually went to a battery/phone repair store and tried a new battery, still nothing. The person said it could be a board issue or software problem (but they did not test it other than putting a battery in.)
Is this thing bricked now? Or are there any options I may have to repair/recover anything on it.
Never rooted or anything, stock S5 with the push updates from t-mobile and such.

So Bricked S2 8" tab. Need help from the tech gods here.

I'm so bricked. I'll try to be brief.
I successfully rooted a 2 month old sm-t713 a few weeks ago. I was out flying my drone with the tablet attached to the remote control. The tablet was discharging battery life to the remote. I placed the tablet down for a minute to check on the drone that just landed and when I checked the tablet...well it was off. I tried power on immediately...I then tried hard reset. Nothing.
At home I tried multiple reset attempts and nothing. Also the tablet refused to charge when plugged in. I finally opened the back cover and disconnected the battery. I left it for an hour and then tried again.
Now it gets weird.
The tablet turned on and started to load the os... nougat. It got about 2 mins into the Android loading screen and then died.
I retried turning it on. Nothing happened. I plugged it in overnight and still nothing. I tried unplugging the battery again from the motherboard of the tablet for a few mins. When I retried powering it on again I got a 5 second glimpse of the Samsung tablet logo screen and dead again.
Now it's really really dead. I tried multiple attempts at reset and download mode and no life. The unplugging battery trick does not work anymore.
In desperation I bought a new battery and plugged it in but the tablet did NOT respond to that either.
So now I'm at a total loss. It's only a few months old and doubt Samsung will fix it under warranty.
Does anyone have any ideas as to what happened? And any way to fix it myself?
Help really appreciated. Thanks. I feel like a dolt.

It's obvious, but have you tried different chargers and cables?
When you put the new battery in was there any life at all?
The only reason I think the battery trick worked is because unplugging it allowed it to re-energize somewhat so it could power on when reconnected.
Now it's completely drained there's no power at all in it.
Same goes for plugging into the mains, no power getting to the board.
I suspect a possible faulty USB port.
Thank you for responding.
I did try the oem charger, my car charger, a 3d party wall charger and a 20000 mAh portable charger. Also multiple cables. I think the charging port is working because the portable charger flashes when actually charging a battery. It does not flash at all if plugged into a full battery. Somehow the tablet is being blocked from turning on.
Plus just today I did use a fully charged replacement battery to test the tablet though...my coworker has the same tablet and allowed me to remove his functioning one today...and that failed when i connected it to the Samsung. I even connected the battery from faulty Samsung to his tablet and his turned on immediately.
Argh.
try a "Samsung Jig" you can get them off ebay for about a quid!

Galaxy S3 Neo: new battery, phone shuts down immediately when not charging

Hello,
I couldn't find similar thread (or maybe just missed it) so I decided to create a new one.
Currently I'm using a battery that I have bought on AliExpress and it's swollen badly, probably because I have left the phone completely discharged for a year when I shattered the screen. I've bought another one from AliExpress and it looks just like the original one, has Samsung and EB-L1G6LLU written on it. However, when I put it inside a phone and try to turn it on "Samsung Galaxy S3 Neo" screen flashes for a split second and shuts down. When I have my phone connected to a wall charger, everything works fine, but the second I disconnect it, it shuts down immediately. I checked the voltage on both batteries, the one that was working fine(although swollen) reads 4,02 V and the one that doesn't has 4,03 V. I'm using stock Samsung OS on this phone. What could be wrong?
