Recently I've noticed that when I get a call on my phone, it only shows as a phone icon in the notification bar, where as it used to show the call on the screen.
For example, phone locked and AOD on. Phone rings and it used to light up showing me the caller. Now it only shows a phone icon in the AOD notification on the screen.
Anyone had this or know what I've changed?

This just happen like an hour ago, if I have a new text message, email, or missed call etc. it shows the icon on the notification bar, but when I pull down to scroll it, the notification bar just shows a blank white page. I've turn my phone off and on, nothing. I thought it was due to WidgetLocker, so I turn it off, nothing. The only thing I d/l today was an update to LP Plus but that was early this morning. Anybody have any idea or have this problem? It's really annoying me.
After 5 reboots, it's finally showing up. Mods lock plz.
Before I used to get sms notifications displayed on my lock screen, but now the phone just turns on and doesnt no longer show on lock screen that I have a new message. I just turns on and blinks the LED. Does anyone know of a way to return to the old way where looking at the always on display would show sms notification?

Up till now, all my galaxy phones had a persistent phone notification, while on a call, right on the lock screen along with other notifications. It had simple buttons for mute/unmute and speaker phone on/off. On the S8, there's no persistent notification for the phone on the lock screen. I've ensured that I don't have the phone app disabled from showing notifications on the lock screen, it's set to show all content. I have to either unlock, or pull down the notification panel and then get to it, which is kind of annoying. Anybody else notice this or is it something with my phone? Just want to check before I attempt a factory reset.
As the tittle say, the other day I restarted my phone and for some reason the call duration was showing on the screen display instead of the second screen as a small icon that could be dragged around the main screen.
Is that an option? I restarted the phone and the feature is gone. Thanks in advance.
Whenever i get a call when my screen is locked and i pickup and talk the phone just minimizes the call into notification and status bar turns green i have to click the notification to get back the full screen
