[Q] Porting MIUI to Lenovo A3000-H IdeaTab

Hello everyone, I would like to know how to port MIUI to this tablet. There is one Chinese version but i can't make it work. I am not total noob for those things so i would like to ask what do I need to look first. Chipset, Processor, Screen resolution or ?

Porting Flyme OS 5 from Meizu M3 Note to UMi Super

For all UMi Super lovers out there,
I am starting this thread as a beginning of my project to port Flyme OS 5 from Meizu M3 Note to our beloved UMi Super.
Here are some facts:
1. As many of you with some Custom ROM development knowledge know, porting from one device to another is relatively easy and certainly possible between 2 devices with similar specs - such as display size, RAM size, ROM size, CPU and so on...
WELL GUESS WHAT - turns out M3 Note and UMi Super run off the same processor, have the same amount of RAM and both have 5.5", 1920x1080 (401-403 PPI) displays.
2. Flymoe OS 5 is an excellent skin of Android 5.1, supporting many advanced features such as background task management. More info here: http://www.flymeos.com/
3. UMi Super - although a brilliant device, lacks support from developers massively. In return, this means there is very little optimisation available. This project is intended to kick start further development for our device.
4. I have limited experience and knowledge with porting ROMs, hence I would appreciate and share credits with anyone/everyone willing to help me develop this port.

Hey guys,
I'm pretty sure I'm onto something here, however like I mentioned in posts earlier I have very limited porting/Android development knowledge, let alone time and energy to fiddle around after long days of work.
Nevertheless, I am attaching all links I researched (took a couple hours) and found - I think something can be cooked out of all the ingredients below, it just takes the right chef!
Hence I'm leaving my knowledge and research to someone with more time, knowledge and experience with Android development than I have. I hope someone can take over this project and deliver a nice ported version of Flyme OS 6 to our beloved yet well under-supported UMi Super!

This is all I found. I tried cooking the ROM myself but gave up at 4am one night. It might not be all information required, I don't know... Either way, it's a start so I hope it can be useful!

All functions are available, except for gestures, and the official ROM has no screen gesture function

Touch Problem can fixed if you installiert v.3.02-20161121 via SP flashtool

i know that Android O is still in testing and in beta stage
but i am still tempted to know is there any plan from developers here to start building custom rom for Lenovo A6000/Plus based on Android O
this devices can handle lots of stuff thrown at it.

On a serious note, wrong section & too early for it. The devs will start working on it when Team Lineage Imports the code.

This is my first MIUI 9 port rom project for Asus zenfone 3 Max 5.5 model ZC553KL X00DD.
Based on custom rom miuipro Marshmallow v6.0.1 Miui v 9.5.4.0 for Xiaomi Redmi 3s devices.

Before installing custom rom, you must root on the device
To do this, follow these steps:

Yes it is the first custom rom, still have to correct some bugs.
I have not had much time, but I hope that other programmers will continue my work.
The site on which rom is hosted lasts for 30 days after the link is unavailable. My internet is not very good, please I would like you to copy Rom to google Drive, so it will be totally available in the next few days!

Yes, using Twrp, you can always reinstall the asus stock firmware.

I'd love to have android 10 on my Nokia 6! Are you targeting the 2017 Nokia 6, or the newer 6.1? I'd love to help but I don't know much about android roms/rom porting. I have a TA-1033 as my daily driver, so I could test builds on that (if they don't brick my phone :^) ). Good luck!

Hello, during the lockdown I've tried to port Lineage OS 17.1 to our device, unfortunately after the build process I wasn't able to make it boot successfully.
The source trees that I used are on Github.

If I'm being honest, the Nokia 6 2017 is one of the best mid range phones out there and it is sad that only one developer is taking interest in this phone. I think it's because of the robust bootloader and more. Yes, Nokia messed up so bad on the Android Pie update. WE NEED MORE DEVELOPERS ON THIS DEVELOPMENT.
