Poor manufacture quality of display? - Redmi K20 / Xiaomi Mi 9T Questions & Answers

Hi. I spotted issue with 9T's display. It's black areas on display when brightness is set to minimum and reading mode turned on.
Down you'll see picture of what i see. Sorry for poor quality of image but it's edited to have a better look and it's shot on older phone.
These black areas can be caused by poor manufacture quality or too low voltage going to display. When i have set bigger brightness it gets lost.
Another issue is weird colors when slowly turning up the brightness from minimum to circa 1/5 of brightness slider.
Reproduce this issue. Go to dark room (with lights turned off), Set brightness to minimum and reading mode slider to max. Turn on reading mode and open this picture

Update: We solved it as technological limitation of OLED displays. It is same on iPhones and basically every oled display.

[ IDEA ] fix for light sensor in low light conditions need kernel developers help

I have posted here to take the attension of the kernel developers
i have an idea taken from how CyanogenMod to fix this problem , in CyanogenMod auto backlight manager there is an option to set a constant backlight level when the light sensor is not working so when the light sensor is not reciving light or the light is too low to make it work , the manageer decreases the backlight to a certain level so that we don't get bright screen in dark conditions after deactivating the camera or tho ,
just like this

when the sensor is reading zero light or not working it adjust the screen backlight to 40 automatically so screen dims light automatically , that is why we don't see backlight problems in CyanogenMod ,
can any kernel developer kelp with this

Nexus 10 vs P900 screen macro comparison

There's been a lot of debate about the pentile screen of the Note Pro, some people can see the blurry/jaggedy outline of text, while others can't... so I present to you a macro comparison of screens.
I've used the playstore as the source; tripod was stationary, I just moved the tablets and focused.

My opinion: The P900 is clearly missing parts of the text/image... it's like a strainer/sieve and can't even draw circles properly. It's considerably brighter though... both were on 100% brightness with Auto disabled... BTW: with Auto brightness on and in sunlight you can get the P900 even brighter.
The N10 has more natural colours, but they look a little flat; P900 was in dynamic mode.

Lumia 950 XL Amoled Display

On higher brightness level gray is true gray but when i change brightness to lower level gray start showing greenish tint, usually visible in dark. Most noticeable on brightness 15% or so.
Yesterday i compared other lumia 950XL, both brightness 0% (mine is right):

low contrast

Have you noticed the very low contrast that makes hard to play low light games, there are very few levels of black
Check lagom website.
Do you know any way to fix this without any app running in background?

Check this image with your Axon 7. I was able to fix it with screen balance, but the paid version.
Also to test and check you black levels go here:
http://www.lagom.nl/lcd-test/black.php
There is like 10% to 15% need of increased contrast just before it turns the black in grey.
I also search build prop but I have found nothing.
It is a shame to run always a background program just to fix this. The sound is great! Don't know what were they thinking when choose this dark setting for the screen.

Can I adjust the screen gamma value?

I think the gamma value is too high. I mean, the dark colours are too dark when the screen brightness is set to low. You might say, "then, just increase the screen brightness!". But if I do so, the bright colours become too bright.
So, I would like to adjust the gamma value. I have found how to adjust R/G/B in the settings, but not gamma. Is it adjustable, or is it fixed in the hardware (something like display panel) and cannot be adjusted?
By the way, I am using Lineage OS, and I think I can get the root access. So, if the gamma value can be adjusted only with the root privilege or by installing some image in the recovery, I can handle that.

Impossible? If so, please tell me that so that I could save the time by not searching for it.
