Deleted Os in TWRP - Samsung Galaxy Tab E Questions & Answers

Im an Idiot. I went to twrp recovery and wiped everything, since I wanted to install a higher version of the Samsung tab e, and even when twrp told me that there was no OS installed, I rebooted anyways. I was new to this all thing, and had no idea what exactly that meant and thought, 'What could go wrong?' . . . I just wanted a higher device model, man.
Ugh. Now im stuck in the 'Powered by Android' logo screen, and cant boot into recovery or Download mode.
- What's even worse was that I didn't even enable USB Debugging so Adb is out.
- However, it is Rooted, if that even helps.
- Trying to use the Samsung 300k tool to force enter download mode ends up with 'Write file function failed (error 995)'
- My sibling has the same device model as me, but using T Flash via Odin and my 32GB micro SD card doesn't have a reaction to my device. (Or maybe im doing it wrong, since I don't see anything in the sd card when I plug it to the computer)
- Tablet gets recognized via Odin and Computer, but only as 'MTP USB Device', and in Devices, it is in Unspecified as 'Samsung Android'
- Only good thing that came out of this was the info that I had obtained over the past few days that has shocked my siblings as to why I have this much knowledge over Samsung devices and its functions (AKA I feel cool)
But honestly, at this point I am at a loss of what to do, and will not be surprised if I have to get a USB jig to force it to download mode (my only other option left), or take it to a service center to get it fixed. (the other option I have)
But if there is something you guys are aware of, that I had not tried yet, Please guide me.

The simplest way to get an operating system again is to put the ZIP file on a working MicroSD card and put it in your tablet, Then boot into the boot loader and choose to install the file by choosing the external micro sd card.
If you're stuck on a boot screen or download, get out of it by holding the power key + volume down, until the tablet resets.
Note for the future:
always backup your device to an external MicroSD card before deleting your existing operating system, or installing a new one.

Killed My Streak - Help

I was going to do the 2.1 upgrade to my streak, but renamed the pkg file on the sim card to Update.pkg instead of update.pkg
did the volume+power to get to the menu and selected 2) - it said it needed to do an emergency recovery so I let it.
Since then I have tried a factory reset (option1) and it just sticks on the dell logo
tried that a couple of times - no difference, tried with and without sim - no difference.
So what is my next step? - I read about fastboot but I've no idea what it is!
If I try connecting my streak to my PC it says it installing device driver
and installs a qualcomm something, which changes to a 'USB Human Interface'
the pc suite says disconnected.
so any ideas?
Richard
Ok so I'm a bit further on.
I have got the unit in fastboot mode, changed the device driver to one on the streak, done the recovery and then tried option 2 again - same problem as the first time round - the display shows
'Android system recovery utility GAUSb1a110421
press the shutter button to start emergency software recovery
warning all data will be erased'
it then boots and sits on the dell logo.
I presume the update.pkg on the memory card is either missing or damaged.
Any more suggestions - sadly I cant find the microsd adapter for my laptop to put a different update.pkg on it
any more suggestions?
ok found a micro SD drive adapter After searchging for my one I thought I'd lost I realised my o2dongle has an adaptor in it- downloaded the 4399 build from dell, did option 2 again to load from update - and once again I get the emergency system recovery - the pretty box and now I'm back to 1.6.
So I guess it was just a bad 2.1 download
so the question is bed or try to find another 2.1 rom!
Just when I thought I should have gone to bed and not tried again as it was looking a bit dead again- 2.1!!!!
playtime!
ive had this too! if and when i get to fastboot (crap crap key combo!) i might just see it boot again! my other option is to pour lighter fuel over it then sit it on fire whilst playing voodoo chile at full volume as it is 2am here...

Stuck SM-N900A - No free space

Ok this phone was running out of space, so my friend attempted to delete one of her exchange email accounts from work to free some space and then the phone went crazy crashing every second. After pulling the battery out, it boots and gets stuck in the ATT logo.
I have searched this forum and google endlessly and the most reasonable solution i found was trying to access the storage using ADB.
so this is what happens:
1. Windows does not detect any hardware being plugged in the computer if the phone is in recovery mode like in the attached pictures.
2. Windows DOES detect an MTP device when the phone is stuck in the ATT logo, and plugged to the computer, but the driver fails to install and i get the yellow exclamation mark on the device manager under portable devices.
3. I waited and clicked on scan for hardware changes but still get the "Device cannot start (code 10)" in windows.
4. I wiped the cache partition to no effect.
5. Everything is stored on the internal memory, she never had a micro SD card installed.
All i know this is a stock phone. My friend got it with ATT and no one ever played with it (rooting and stuff). I have no clue about what software version was installed other than the numbers you see in the attached pictures.
I know "wipe data/factory reset" will get rid of the problems, but she needs to recover pictures, and work related SMSs that she never backed up. Losing this data will set her back very badly with customers and more than a year of work.
Any tips are much appreciated and i hope there is light at the end of the tunnel.
Thanks a lot.

I accidentally deleted my OS, how would I fix it?

Hey, I'm on an S5 and I flashed (to upgrade my phone) my system and forgot to put Android back on my SD (to reinstall it) I then put it on and tried to restart because safestrap wasn't refreshing my files on my SD and essentially screwed up my phone. When I turn it on it just shows the booting screen and doesn't let me go anywhere else. When I try to go into download mode it doesn't let me, please help! (I already went to the Verizon store, they said they couldn't help)
I would first get out a SD card adapter to pc then put in my computer when it recognizes it
I would download official android lollipop such as bok3 from sammobile and then place it on said SD card
then eject SD and place it back in my phone
First try turning off your phone and boot into download mode you may have to try at least 5-10 times if it is only booting into recovery mode
if you have a custom recovery still boot into it either TWRP or safestrap etc then install the firmware
connect phone to computer and install s5 verizon drivers from Samsung website this might fix part of your issue
You could boot your phone into maintenance mode when your phone gets stuck during boot push volume down choose from the list to do a factory reset and you could try safe mode also
If no download mode connect to computer via USB and install verizon software assistant on your pc and try to do repair phone

Bricked gift :D

I got bricked Pop C7 7041D Dual Sim as "gift", and I'd like to fix it. Phone has installed TWRP Recovery by hanuma50 v.2.4.1.0 - pretty much this is all I can do with it. It's unable to wipe system, I dont have any custom ROMs to try.
Reguar boot just loops from boot logo to white screen.
I tried SP flash tool, but it gives all sorts of errors, Mobile Upgrade S fails (cant connect to phone).
Computer sees it as Mediatek USB Device, but it keeps on connecting and disconnecting round and round?
Is there any way to make this phone usable?
Also, I can't do adb via recovery, as the computer does not see the phone.

I've got a solution if you wanted to try it, search on google MTXXXX preloader drivers, replace the X with your processor number, if you are not too sure of your processor number search up the Alcatel pop C7 specs on gsmarena, then once you downloaded the preloader drivers type in devmgmt.msc on the run command, this will launch device manager, then click on the top where it says username-PC, go to action > add legacy hardware, then click next, advanced, show all devices and then have disk then click on the folder that you extracted with the preloader drivers, then wait for the drivers to install, you will get a code 10 error, that's normal just ignore it, then go to SP flash tool and flash the firmware and you no longer got a bricked "gift", sorry if its a little confusing just read through carefully and you will be fine

Lenovo Yoga 3 8 "YT3-850F downgrade firmware

Hi Guys,
I am attempting to downgrade a Lenovo Yoga 3 8 "YT3-850F to an earlier firmware in an attempt to remove the frp lock on a Lenovo that upgraded to Marshmellow 6.0.1 and is now locked out. My friends son didn't keep his Google login details and after a factory reset this Lenovo is locked.
I've downloaded the 5.1 version via the Lenovo forums which apparently works YT3-850F_USR_S000025_1510160911_Q1241_ROW_factory_update.zip but when I try and install in via sd card I get the Android man flashing between black screen and the android man but the flash does not seem to happen.
I am getting an error when flashing:
finding update package
opening update package
e:failed to mount /dev/block/mmcblk1p1
e:remount block devices
e:failed to mount /sdcard
I'm not sure if this is a red herring as I don't always get the message but when I hold the volume up key and the power button the tab goes straight into flash mode and not the recovery screen. Also the only way out is to eject the sd card and then the recovery screen reappears and this is when I sometimes can see the message.
I have tried different sd cards and refomatted them in different ways ie windows, android, minitools etc.
Should I attempt to flash the rom via abd? Can I do this on a tablet that is locked with frp?
Any help gratefully appreciated
Al
I've been looking into further ways of installing the rom.
When I boot into recovery mode there is the option to update via abd.
When I select this option I can see the Tablet when I select adb devices in the command window.
Would this option allow me to install the YT3-850F_USR_S000025_1510160911_Q1241_ROW_factory_update.zip firmware or would it brick the device as it is currently on MM6.0.1?
cheers
Al
Update: Finally got it sorted.
The sd cards that I was using where either too large 8gb and 16gb or hi speed (not sure which)
Out of desperation I gave it one further attempt with an old 2gb sd card and it flashed
The next problem I had was it was taking an update immediately to 0027 and this was preventing me from doing the frp bypass.
I re-flashed 0025 and immediately after connecting to the internet I disconnected the lead but reconnected at times to allow me into Settings and enable developer mode and usb debugging. Once this was complete it started 0027 and allowed me to setup a new google account.
I hope this helps future people who are in the same boat.

Guide for this procedure, please.

How is it going man, I know it has been a year since your post. However, would you be so kind of posting the procedure you followed, also could you upload the firmware, please.
I know is too much to ask, but I was not able to find a solution on how to downgrade.
