Xiaomi Mi 9T have 27w charging? - Redmi K20 / Xiaomi Mi 9T Questions & Answers

Hello people!
After searching for Mi 9T loading (global version, not K20), I found different information on 27w load compatibility. In the official page of the device on the site of xiaomi informs that the load is 18w, but I am in doubt if it accepts the same loading of Mi 9 and K20 PRO. Would anyone have the concrete information?

I think it doesn't but differences are minimum, check: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SkTYZy8Wlo4&t=567s

I am still waiting for my 9T to arrive, but I will also be ordering a 27W charger. When both arrive, I will compare the 27W charger with the 18W charger, and confirm either way.
Hopefully, I will be able to by 25th July!

Is the charger that came in the box a 18 Watt charger?

Mi 9T/K20 won't support 27W ! Just K20 Pro.

MI 9T/Redmi K20 supports QC4+, so it should support 27W (but it's not working). Maybe it's blocked by Xiaomi.

Not supported by the phone.. Same thing goes for the WiFi 6.

Hello my friend.
If your phone has arrived, have you been able to get tested?

Im very sorry, but I have had a nightmare with the 9t, due to the delivery guy actually stealing my phone directly from outside of my home! It's taken over a month, but finally the delivery company has admitted their guy is a thief.
As a result, i have not had a chance to try the charger.
If you have seen a 27w charger that you think might be decent, post a link, and I'm happy to add it to my order

Wtf why would the guy steal it from outside your house? Oh because of tracked delivery right? Well that sucks hopefully something similar won't happen to mine but it comes with insurance in case they f*ck up delivery. However I believe I have found the best and most safest deal from my country in England.

Yeah, I'M from England too - Yodel driver parked outside my address, logged it as delivered, and then drove off with my mobile. Luckily, I had it on CCTV, but it still took a month for Yodel to admit they "lost" my parcel. They still haven't refunded me.
Congratulations on your purchase.

Which retailer did you get it from? I've been holding out hoping Amazon UK stock it, but best/most reliable place I've seen is Amazon DE.

Yeah, I already spoke to the police, and have a crime number.
The police called back, after six weeks - I know they are under stuffed, and I know they have bigger issues to worry about.
Police are saying that since Yodel have admitted the "lost" delivery, I am better off going to citizens advice bureau, rather than the police. I've asked them what they will do about protecting others from the driver, who clearly knew what he was doing.
I ordered from Gearbest, who are refusing to refund me, as yodels tracking states the delivery was successful. This is despite me giving Gearbest a letter from Yodel which confirms the delivery was "lost"
It's a messy situation - even with CCTV, this has been difficult. Imagine what would have happened if I didn't have CCTV, and it was my word against the drivers!

Since you guys seem to be from the UK how much did you buy it for?
I bought it from Eglobal Central UK not the safest place but better than something like Aliexpress IMO.
Price has been reduced again it seems. There's also other colours and storage options.
It looks like it will be delivered on the same day I return from holiday... so I may miss it.
Will inform then right now.

That is cheap! 450€ from Amazon DE is what I've been looking at. What 'version' is that from Eglobal Central UK? Is it the global or EU? I'm not too clear on what the differences are and whether it matters?
I prefer Amazon as they have a very helpful and easy to use customer helpline/return service

EU? I think that is only meant to be a custom rom. So there's China, global and India maybe? But not EU I think, because that seems to be a rom China units flash onto their phones because of ads? I think I messed it up slightly just now, global roms with ads?
All you should learn from what I said is that there isn't an EU version, the rest I have clearly no clue who what where lol.
Anyway, that is the global Mi 9T I bought, there is no China unit which has "Mi" on the back or in the name. Because that's what differentiates it from the "Redmi" K20 since the Redmi part would be on the back and in the name. Same applies to Pro variants.
Also they all have the exact same dimensions so you can buy a case no matter if it says K20/K20 Pro or 9T/9T Pro they work on each variant right?

Expansys UK - You have been warned!

If you are considerin an order with Expansys - think again!
I tried to post this in the Expansys forums but it was deleted within minutes and it seems they have now blocked my right to post!
Ordered the Desire HD with free accessoy pack (204815) when stock was showing as available and confirmed that the item was in stock with customer services prior to placing the order.
Order summary showed everything in stock but when the order moved to 'in progress' the Desire HD then showed 'Estimated 1 day'. This then moved to 3 days and is currently showing 6 days!
Called customer support and was told that everything is in stock but the Desire HD - this was obviously the main part of the order. When questioning why the site said 'in stock' when ordering I was offered no explanation and was told that the Desire HD is in high demand.
Poor Expansys, very poor. If you don't have the stock, do NOT say that you do!
This mirrors my experience 18 months ago with the my HTC Magic order I finally cancelled my order having been told good luck but no-one has any in stock and got one from phones4u delivered the following day. I have stayed away from Expansys since but if you look they always claim to be getting items in much earlier than anyone else
I really do hate it when any online company shows something I want as "IN STOCK" when in actual fact they have nothing, www play com also does this.

Worse still is being lied to when calling to check stock level on the site. On two occasions I spoke to Expansys (two separate orders) and on two occasions I was told they were in stock. Guess what, on two occasions the order reverted to 'awaiting stock' following payment!
Not impressed with Expansys at all. The part that annoyed me even further is that my query and warning to others in the Expansys forum was removed within minutes and I was barred from posting again!
Not good business!
Expansys are scammers, pure and simple. I've had a couple of similar experiences and now wouldn't touch them with a barge pole.
I strongly advise everyone to keep well away.

They're showing 99 in stock at the moment so you should be getting yours soon. Hopefully. Fingers crossed.
I always stick to ebay when buying new phones and the sellers with excellent feedback usually dont let you down.
I was going to buy a couple of charging docks from Expansys (my wife has a DHD too) and I was pleased to see a voucher for 50% off. At the basket it would only discount one dock and not two so I had a grumble to myself and decided to buy neither. Nice looking little dock though, but I am put off buying there by the stories here.
The exact same thing happened to me when I ordered my htc desire a few months back, they said they had it in stock on the website, then then out of stock, then estimated 2 days, then 5 days then 10 days .
It was so bad I almost harmed myself!
Anyways why are you ordering from expansys, they have the highest price at the moment for the Desire HD, there are other places selling it cheaper.

I STRONGLY suspect they are not in stock at all and this is just a ploy to secure 'pre-orders'. Let's face it, their price is that far inflated over the competition what else would make us buy from them, the fact they have it 'in stock' even though they don't!
There is no way they would suddenly have 100 units in stock when I was told today they are having trouble maintaining stock level and that they expect a delivery on Tuesday, therefore mine SHOULD be shipped out Tuesday or Wednesday.
My order still shows 'Estimated 6 days' even though stock shows as 99+ A complete joke!
Good luck to all who place an order with Expansys!

Simply because they had them in stock, or so I was told!
Personally I no longer believe a word these cowboys say and I will definitely be recommending that people to not buy from Expansys after my experience.
Not surprising to hear, unfortunately. I ordered my Hero through them last year, and the days kept creeping up, with stock levels showing as available. A common trend, it seems.

I really can't see why they are allowed to say they have something in stock when they clearly do not. Moreover, to be told they are in stock when ringing to verify the stock level on the website is just plain dishonest!
Removing my post in the forums and blocking my access is just the icing on the cake!
Another one with a bad experience of eXpansys.
It took them over 2 weeks to deliver my daughter's HTC Snap even though it was supposedly in stock. Ignored e-mails too. Terrible customer support.
Complete and utter shysters, plus that annoying t**t, Peter Jones has his sticky fingers in the company.
Please, for your own good, avoid eXpansys like the plague!
I would also recommend avoiding Expansys.
In my experiences, their stock numbers are not reliable (i.e. fabricated). Their deceptive business practices lure you into ordering with them then keep you hanging on waiting for your product.
On one particular order when I queried when delivery was to occur I was told to "relax" and that it was "on it's way." If their pricing was cheaper/competitive then you could reasonably put up with this.
Other than a poor customer experience, inflated prices and deceptive/misleading business practices they are fine (i.e. you'll eventually get what you've purchased in good condition).
Would recommend Handtec first, then Clove as better alternatives.

I agree that this quite nicely sums things up with this company.
Expansys also shipping Vodafone branded DHD as "sim-free, unbranded"!!!
1) Expansys do get 100 handsets but it seems they only update the 'in stock' numbers once a day when they 'process' orders. If you are customer 1-99 then great, no problem but if come online in the evening and are customer 100+, and they haven't updated the numbers, then you essentially become a pre-order - even though it says in stock. Dodgy.
2) BUT, way more dodgy... I just got my DHD yesterday: sim free, unlocked, unbranded and clean ...or so I thought.... But what do I see as soon as I boot? Vodafone branding. Called them; "oh, but it is just the boot logo, otherwise it is a normal DHD" Not good enough, I buy unbranded cos I want unbranded!
And Vodafone 360 replaces Amazon MP3 in the HTC music player too - so more than just a boot screen. What else is affected? Where do the upgrade ROMs come from? HTC or so I have to wait for a Vodafone ROM??
Worst of all, when I call HTC to migrate my Navigation subscriptions they tell me I should return the DHD as I shouldn't have a UK Vodafone branded handset in Sweden, and that Expansys shouldn't be selling it to me.
3) To give Expansys some credit here (a little), they send TNT in a few hours to collect the Vodafone handset and supposedly have a replacement, real sim-free, unbranded handset to send me tomorrow. Just hope it exists and shows up.

To my fellow North Americans

Good evening,
Was looking around and seems like Z5 is what I've been waiting for, and like many of you I cannot wait to get my hands on one. Searched it up on UK and USA sites, prices are extremely expensive for a Z5 (imagine how much the Z5 P is going to cost), anyway I searched it up on USA Amazon and found a decent price. Ive never actually purchased a smartphone online before but have made Tablet purchases and simple manufacturer defects are covered by the seller.
NGP Store USA from US Amazon sent me a ridiculous response. See the attachments, I asked nicely whether it is covered under manufacturer defect if the phone does not perform as advertised. I understand it has no warranty but manufacturer defect is another thing, event written on their policies. I dont know are they implying the phones are not IP 68 certified.
Anyway, be warned my young jedis rather wait till it launches in Canada or find some seller that is actually a seller. Seriously, paying up to $1000 for a phone that is not as advertised is non-sense. really makes me wonder where they get their stock from.
Interesting response I bought mine on EBay from Taiwan. Seller is 23port. I bought Z2 and Z3 from them as well. They are one if the first to get the new devices and ship DHL for free. Went out 10/2 and arrived 10/5.
You can get it for about $650~ on Handtec. Not bad, considering

Got my Z5 Graphite Black from Clove. Supposed to be delivered to my house by Tuesday hopefully! I only had good experience with them, would highly recommend them
To be honest, I like their response. The phone ip certification does not qualify it to be kept under the pressure of a running tap. The phone is gently submerged then taken out again, not blasted by a running tap stream of water.
Sent from my D5803 using XDA Free mobile app
i dont know what kind of sink you have there sir, but my sink doesnt blast out tap water. I avoided to use the word "submerge" under water to illustrate a point here. After checking out every other sites, including eBay, yes eBay, nearly all sellers provide 1 year warranty. Then again, warranty and manufacturer defect policy are two separate things. What they are doing is very skeptical, makes me really wonder where they get their phones.
Even aside from all that, this points out they have extremely poor customer service or the CSR is just unprofessional. Could have structured the sentence professionally.
Im trying to avoid purchasing from UK, most of the prices there are extremely high. i might actually order from 23port as proposed by augie. Thanks for the info tho guys!

I really wanted to try the Z line. I was excited to see that VZW had one of them listed as an upcoming device. I was hoping the Z5 would land on VZW instead of the Z4v, but now news has it that VZW ditched the Sony lineup period... This is really sad news.
$1000?? Try searching Amazon
The Z5C is $559 on amazon:
Honestly, I wouldn't spend more than $650 on the Z5 and that's being generous given the flaws we've seen thus far. Granted that's software that has yet to receive post launch updates that improve performance.

I doubt it... they still have huge ads for it all over their site. It could be a temporary stock issue.
Called one of the local stores, according to them there's a recall on them?
Odd. I looked on the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC.gov), and there's nothing there.
I saw this article just now: https://9to5google.com/2017/01/13/barnes-nobles-nook-7-tablet-recall-2/

Well that's lame. It's lame that they stop selling it just because the chargers are bad. But I think this is unacceptable behavior. We bought your device, now there's a problem with it, and you won't even tell us what's going on - much less replace the charger. If it's bad enough to be a problem for new customers, it's a problem for people who bought it already. Do you not care about us, the people who were excited about your new product, B&N? I mean, I bought this thing the day it became available (Black Friday 2016).
Well, not that it makes much of a difference to me, as I haven't used the stock charger either. But still, not cool.

Well, normally you would fill out some form on the recall website. None of which is online yet of course.
I was contacted by a law firm that is filing a class action lawsuits because malware was originally installed that sent data to a Chinese website. Anyone familiar with this?
Paul
But B&N claimed that no data was compromised, and that the update removed the ADUPS or whatever. Something to that effect, anyway.
But, so they claim.

Available on ebay?

hope they don't delay the release. From what it looks, the bezel less display will be pretty common by last quarter this year.
The phones on eBay are pre-sale. Look at the fine print. Anyone that says they have one is a scammer.
The reservation list hasn't even been upgraded to a order list.
Don't., don't, don't believe the hype!

I wrote to the seller(s) reminding them of the eBay rules and they revised the ads... but not before someone had already bought at least one.
That was good of you, sucks for the guy who purchased though

Well, all the purchaser had to do was to contact the seller and ask if it was in hand before buying. Takes two to tango.
Every day that passes without getting my invoice is driving me a little more crazy... I mean I really like my Pixel XL, but I have Essential Lust... :silly:

US version IN2025

Does anyone knows when OP store will have back to stock the OP8pro?
I really, really wouldn't count on it any time soon. Given the pandemic, it's tough to say when it'll be back in stock as suppliers cannot provide parts to assemble the phone. And even if it does, there are many people that will literally buy it the moment it's available. I'm willing to bet if it ever does get back in stock, it'll sell out in minutes just like it did when it was first released. I actually read somewhere that it was sold out in 30 seconds or so.
If 5G doesn't matter to you, you're okay with not having specific bands, and are willing to flirt with the idea of no real warranty from OnePlus - I'd recommend you look into the IN2020 version. The 8Pro with 256GB of storage can be had for 903$ right now from trusted seller never-msrp.
I should've bought one in hindsight instead of paying a ridiculous markup on a used IN2025, but the one I snagged came with the much desired wireless warp charger and plenty of goodies, so it didn't sting as much.

Is there any issue with buying from Amazon? See warranty, it's the exact same phone, delivered in 48 hours. That's how I got mine.
Edit: nevermind, I should've read the rest of the thread before trying, lol
OnePlus told me they would have more of them in stock at the end of June. Don't get the IN2020 if you're on Tmobile or Sprint. The IN2025 is one of only 11 phones that work with Tmobile's N71 band and neither the IN2020 or the IN2023 pickup 600MHZ.
