You have to visit Service Center. As the username and password are secure and only available to official Developers (Service Center) .Did you relock your bootloader????

My phone has also suffered the same fate when I tried to exit the in-depth program via the app. The app said that I need to lock the bootloader before I can actually exit it. But, the problem is that the bootloader stopped working immediately after.
If I try to go to fastboot mode, then the word fastboot is displayed on the screen with the reasoning given in Chinese language. Though, in between the reasoning "6 ~ 10" is written. I wonder what these numbers means.
Also, the option to enter the program has disappeared already.
I did visit, service center this morning and they installed the old color os again. With this ROM, I did got my OTA update to color os 6 and the phone didn't showed orange state screen upon boot. But, in the developer options, it still said that the bootloader is still unlocked.
Upon updating the phone with OTA to color os 6, the orange state screen appeared again upon boot. Weird.
I really don't know what to do now. My phone has stock recovery, stock rom but no access to fastboot.

Mi A1 stuck at MI logo page

Alright. just to get this out of the way, I used to do tech support for HTC many moons ago. like back when they were *the* name in originating new tech to smart phones. I worked my ass off to get into the R&D team that handled all the new products that got released and to our product recovery team(the idiots that try to put a good light on a bad decision made by corporate). I have rooted and installed custom ROMS and recovery software on several phones from them as well as since then with the latest being my old galaxy S7 loaded up with TWRP and lineagoe OS(although i do not remember which version now)
But i did not do literally *ANY* of that with my Xiaomi MiA1. the phone functioned how i wanted it to out of the box and with the stock ROM, i had no need or desire to do anything with the ROM.
I have all but completely given up on doing this on my own now. I have gone over every guide on the MI forums for xiaomi and i think i may have even exhausted the ones that are available here now too. I am not sure WTH the problem at this point even is but here is the lowdown:
:fingers-crossed:
got the update near the end of December/beginning of January to update my MI A1 to the new android pie version that just came out OTA(i actually have two of these phones, one i have not updated since the first update to oreo, and this one that is hardbricked from after the PIE update)
At first when i got the OTA update, my phone started to act sluggish. simple apps like messenger, or google drive that had always worked flawlessly suddenly were taking ages to load. So like any sensible person, i pulled my info to my SD card, took it out, and then did a system recovery to restore factory defaults and start with a fresh OS again, just like when windows starts behaving poorly.
only this did not fix the problem. It persisted with poor performance after the factory data reset and upon my next reboot, my phone just stopped loading when it got to the MI logo on the screen. i literally let the phone sit on this screen overnight thinking just maybe it was being slow to boot after the reset. No luck and in the morning it remained at this screen.
just to make a note:
-phone was purchased off of amazon, i have reached out to the seller(it was a business)
-phone is in CANADA, so there are no service centers
-i CANNOT enter recovery mode(pwr + volup + voldn), it just freezes at the mi screen
-i CAN enter fastboot, but cannot flash room
-bootloader is locked and i have not yet found a method that will successfully unlock it
-the miflash tool does not work(on any version what-so-ever)
-the mi unlock tool gets to 50% and then fails, cannot unlock
-i have installed minimal adb for fastboot, none of the related commands succeed(yes system sees the phone:
c:\adb>fastboot devices
91c0963c0804 fastboot)
-i cannot unlock bootloader here and cannot install twrp or any other recovery image and it will not allow it even temporarily
I've gotten desperate enough to have even gone to the extreme and tried EDL mode by using test point to enter, computer recognizes the device even as the qualcom 9008, still no luck with any of the tools or ROMs provided on Xiaomi's website.
So be real with me here ladies and gents.... should i take this thing on my next trip up a telecomm tower and biff it as hard as i can at the ground(obviously in a snowless area for the most satisfaction) or can you saintly people actually offer me some support on this to turn my brick paperweight back into a phone again?
it is also worth mentioning that this is my first post here because i have never before had a problem with following any of he guides on here to accomplish any task i've ever set out to do with an android device, but this beastly lil mother is seriously making me consider becoming an iphone person(not really but do you get the frustration here?)
I'm writing this at 5:30 in the morning after being up all night working on this task so if my info is missing somewhere along the line just poke me with stick and i will fill in the blanks as needed.
I couldn't be bothered to get and load screenshots tonight but i will get some up tomorrow after sleep, for now i am going to the graveyard to rest.
Thanks for any responses in advance here.

it depends on which version of the flash tool is used. the beta version of the flash tool claims that it is successful, but the phone will not load to the Android OS after that is completed and it still will not load into the recovery mode to attempt to factory reset or anything else.
other versions have given errors:
miflash 2017.7.20.0 gives the response after attempting for about 10 seconds of "ACK count don't match!"
miflash 2018.11.15.0 gives the error response of "cannot receive hello packet"
and as stated before the miflash beta goes through the complete flash process with the result stating a "success" response, but the phone will not load to OS, just remains stuck on the MI logo screen when the phone is booting up
i have some screen grabs of all this but i am not yet worthy through XDA to be permitted to share them
thanks for the reply

i dismantled the phone manually bro, when you use EDL mode this way the SIM/SD tray is removed you then remove the entire backplate and then disconnect the battery cable from the circuit board and you use the test point method to short two pins that force the system to start in EDL mode when you connect the usb-C cable, so unfortunately that is not the issue :crying:
it never seems to be the simple solutions
Thanks for the reply!
Still dead in the water on this one.
Going to look into getting a replacement, that is a disappointing end to the Xiaomi experience
Facing similar issue. Am able to flash however still stuck when device is rebooted with this message;

Any help with fully bricked device

Hello!
THink I have bricked my phone, but just checking before I go through what I suppose is a long process with oneplus.
Looking for any help. I had a working device - unlocked bootloader and installed TWRP and magisk using MauronofrioTool. ok - however, I found out I couldn't use a fingerprint security option on that would have been anoying. So... Long story short. I used MauronofrioTool to relock bootloader. Oops - so that didn't work. THen found out I couldn't do anything except stare at g.co/ADH message on my screen. Couldn
't get to fastboot or TWP. ANyway, so I managed to up and down volume and enter into TWRP. Was still connecting to the tool, so I downloaded factory Zips and tried to install via tool after unlocking - Seemed to be working ... but it stopped mid way through a process and hasbn't come back! NOthing at all. I wonder if I could have triggered an OEM thing? ANyway - literally nothing no buttons work no screen action. I see a QUSB_BULK_CID:etc number when connecting the phone, but that is it. No fast boot or any other actions available.
PLease, pretty devastating, Anyone know if I can do anything?
I'm no pro but I use this tool which helped me:

Thank you. I feel I am little past this stage now though.. Also trying the brick reprieve software . Just can't get my computer to recognise the phone now. No ability to get to emergency download path - think it is my crappy cihinese pc (old Huawei tablet basically) or Windows via apple that have me stranded.
**********SOLVED
THe crappy Chinese language Windows tablet worked as the unbrick OP said WIndows would. Must be a kink in the Windows via Mac that could get me into the situation, but not out.
Very relieved... Even though I still am not 100% sure what I actually ended up clicking to get it to register and connect with the unblock tool (which of course was in Chinese) hahaha.
Cheers
CHeers though
Glad you got it sorted out! Cheers
Need Help, please
Just received my OnePlus 8 pro, decided to Root and unlock the bootloader---this went fine.
I then went and upgraded to Android 11 DP3.
I'm now only able to get into Fastboot. at points it will try to boot but only get to the logo screen and then goes black.
When the phone boots up, it goes to Qualcomm CrashDump Mode.
I've been attempting to solve this for half the day with no luck. I've tried Msmtool, but it doesn't recognize the device, even after loading drivers again.
Is there a way to load a ROM from fastboot mode?
Hoping someone can assist, this is super frustrating and I would appreciate any help, please.

Thanks so much. I ended up getting Msmtool to work. Although my device wasn't on (black screen) and it didn't fully show up in the tool, I decided to start the process anyway and it began to load.
I've been on here for over 10 yeas (XDA) I've just lost my account info and made a new one.
Thanks for taking the time to respond. Much appreciated.

Help!!!!!! Boot image destroyed pls read this::::

Hii!! I have a realme 2 pro rmx1801. I was on real.e ui v1.0. I somehow managed to unlock the bootloader by fastboot. Then i tried to flash twrp recovery. My phone was stucking on the white realme logo and was again automatically booting normally into system. I tried to flash recovery 10-11 times but the same thing happening. Then i searched for it and found a guy who was saying that after flashing recovery, I will have to flash a file named " boot+patched+magisk". Then i did the same but found that my phone now niether was able to boot into recovery nor into system. It was just showing white realme logo, then turned off again, again tried to start and again turned off... the process repeated again and again until i booted it into fastboot. I got afraid and thought that after relocking bootloader it would return to normal but when i locked it again it just showed---- " the current boot image (boot/recovery) has been destroyed and can not boot." I took it to a local repair shop as there is no official realme service centere in my city. He said it would take 3 days to repair it, he told that he will have to download files. I left it there and then the third day called him. He said that he tried to flash but he was not able to repair it. He also told that the phone booted up one time upto the home screen but again reached to the same boot image destroyed message automaticall. I told him that i want my phone repaired and he asked for 2 more days. I allowed. It is about 21 days and he is saying the same thing again and again. Is my phone dead? He is saying that the chances of my phone get reapaired are very low. He said i have also tried ufi but no success. Is he lying? I have not seen my phone from about 21 days, as it is covid-19 spread. We are only talking on phone. Pls tell that can my phone be reapired?
Edit: I bring my phone back from him today. He said that he was not able to repair it. When i gave the device to him it was turning on upto realme and then showing boot image destroyed. But now it is not even turning on. What should i do now. Is this a mistake of mine or he is responsible?
Have you locked Bootloader?
If yes then probably you must flash using flash tool.
(Which may work or not)
If you haven't locked Bootloader then easily flash stock recovery, then flash stock rom
For guide go to YouTube then search your title
The current boot recovery destroyed and cannot boot.

You are lucky. Dont try to unlock ur boot loader forcefully. Or you will perish too. You can unlock it but any custom recovery is not yet launched for realme ui. If u want to still unlock it, download bugjaegar app form playstore on another device, turn on usb debug on ur realme 2 pro and the another device too , connect ur device and open bugjaegar app on ur other device, it will ask for allowing bugjaegar to debug via usb. Allow it, a prompt will pop up on ur realme 2 pro. Allow it. If u are not asked, click on reboot bootloader on bugjaegar app, definitely the prompt will pop up on your realme 2 pro. Click allow and u are good to go. Make sure that u turn on oem unlock too.

[Urgent help] Xiaomi Mi A1 Unlock bootloader

Hi All,
I'm new to this as I'm not an Android developer but a good Android user. Requesting moderator to update anything required.
I've Xiaomi mi A1 and it was working for the last 3 years. Last Sunday, it just got hanged while kids were playing with it(maybe multiple apps/videos/some ad clicked) and it got hanged.
I restarted and it stuck on "Android One" screen till now even after multiple attempts.
What I tried:
1. I tried to wipe/factory reset from the Android recovery option(power off + volume up) then it stuck there saying "Formatting data" and I've restarted it to come back to Android One screen after hours.
2. I tried using MiFlash tool and it continues throwing the error "remote device is locked. cannot erase".
Then I got to know bootloader must be unlocked. and for that:
1. I tried fast boot oem unlock but it just says OK and device reboots. When I check status back, it's again locked .
2.I tried to unlock it using MiFlashUnlock tool but it says not able to find account details as I may have logged in once but probably I may not have used Xiaomi as cloud instead I prefer Google cloud.
You can assume I'v already searched possibly all threads on the internet and added here all possible information.
Attached getvar-all.txt output
Is there anyone on the platform who knows on this issue?
Or it's just a platform of Ads?
oooooof, sounds like a harsh brick from some sort of malware downloaded into the device or your kids diddled with some kernel settings somehow
is your device running on qualcomm snapdragon? i have the fix for it in this site
but first try the update option on the recovery, might fix something

found some fix on a russian website, gonna translate it:
im gonna make a warning there off-script of the russian website, this is NOT guaranteed to work. if it doesnt, send it off for repairs.
what do you need to do this:
1 - fully charge the phone
2 - a working usb cable
3 - a computer with wifi on it (i can tell you have it since you likely posted it on the computer)
4 -you should have Mi flash pro
5 - a recovery image on chinese (WARNING: 1.9 GB, BE PATIENT)
6 - actually working braincells and hands ( you guaranteedly have em)
THE STEPS:
1 - Load in mi flash pro and register in it under your name (not always under your name)
2 - press recovery
3 - you should see a lightning bolt icon along with the IMEI of your device
4 - type in the path of the firmware
even if your device shows your system has been destroyed you can still boot into recovery.
5 - in your device boot into recovery
6 - you see connect with mi assistant? choose that option and confirm it
your device should direct you to connect the usb from your computer to your device
7 - After you setup everything you should see your device, if not, press refresh device, then you should see the flash button, press it
8 - and there begins the magic - wait 5-10 mins for the firmware to initialise, DO NOT DISCONNECT THE USB FROM YOUR DEVICE AT THIS POINT, IF YOU DO, YOU WILL SCREW IT UP AND HAVE TO DO IT ALL OVER AGAIN!
if you dont screw up and your device actually boots congratualtions! the power of xi jing ping has restored your phone to normal with a small drawback - its all in chinese
worry not, it doesnt end here:
9 - Unlock the bootloader AKA Unlock OEM (This is important, because otherwise you will brick yourself again and will have to do it all over again)
10 - boot your device into fast boot and flash the global firmware onto your device (the global firmware can be found on the same xiaomiui website you got the chinese firmware from)
i hope this lengthy guide helps

crud, i forgot the critical part:
it doesnt boot you to the average xiaomi screen, its the A1 model
at this point you need to use the ADB to flash the chinese firmware and unlock the bootloader on the chinese firmware, then flash the global one
though you can still use the same method i typed above
How's the progress so far?

ROOT SM-T555 Nougat (Android 7.1.1)

Hello...
I am looking for a working way to root my SM-T555
The device is running android 7.1.1;
base ver. "T555XXU1CQHA";
build ver. "NMF26X.T555XXU1CRG1";
Samsung experience 8.5;
Android security patch August 2017.
So far, the several attempts I made using every T55X related software I found in this website have been unsuccessful.
It would seem that the rooting software available is for "Marshmallow only", thus not Nougat specific,
though I read some comments stating that the TWRP made for MM worked on Nougat too and, after that, Magisk would/could do the job...
So I gave it a try but, after installing the recovery, my tablet got stuck every time: refused to boot normally
and if I turned it off, long pressing the power key, I couldn't turn it on again as if it was bricked.
Every time I had to re-start it in download mode and re-flash the original stock rom with Odin in order to have it working again.
On top of that, the "OEM unlock" key is not present in the developer mode list: none of the "date changing tricks" I found around the web seems to fit this model.
I am inclined to believe this "might" be the mother of my problems in rooting the device though, supposedly, the patches were not for Nougat, anyway...
The developer options page, once activated, can only be "turned off" ("greyed out") but cannot be deactivated;
while, on other devices, if you turn it off the page usually disappears after rebooting then you have to tap 7 times the build version, again, in order to make it appear.
I never had problems in rooting any of the phones and tablets I have /had, including an SM-T819 running Nougat 7.1.1,
thanks to the great job done by the coders in this community to whom I would like to express my appreciation for what they do for the benefit of us all.
But this thing seems to reject everything I throw at it and it's been the most stubborn "phone like object" I ever fought with.
So far I am the one loosing the fight... I wish some of you guys could give me the means to defeat it.
Thanks in advance to whoever may be available to help me out.
Flash TWRP, then install Magisk in TWRP.

thanks for your reply.
maybe my post was too long and boring so you didn't read it all
Of course I already tried the solutions posted in the page you suggested but they did not work.
not the autoroot files, not the recovery, etc...
I quote: "after installing the recovery, my tablet got stuck every time: refused to boot normally

If there is a TWRP file specific for my Nougat version available I'd be happy to give it a shot

Did you follow a guide when flashing TWRP? Did you unlock your bootloader?
You need to be clear and concise in your posts as yo what you did and how.

of course I did follow the guide by the book. also, the recovery appears to be installed properly, Odin showing a nice green PASS sign, but it doesn't work anyway
now about unlocking the bootloader, as I mentioned in my first post:
"the "OEM unlock" key is not present in the developer mode list: none of the "date changing tricks" I found around the web seems to fit this model.
I am inclined to believe this "might" be the mother of my problems in rooting the device"
every time I had to re install the system, so there clock want back to zero. Maybe I should be waiting for the allotted number of days to pass on order for the OEM unlock key to appear...
but before my first attempt to root the device, almost one month was past and the OEM unlock key wasn't there, notwithstanding...
I hope there was a chance that the bootloader was already unlocked...
to be concise (schematic):
tablet in download mode
untick auto reboot in Odin
AP loaded with "smt550_cf-autoroot.tar"
flash with Odin, OK, green sign PASS
reboot manually home+volume down+power,
then switch to volume up when screen becomes black
the Samsung logo appears and stays there indefinitely
So I turn the device off, long pressing the power key
then I try and turn on the tablet but does not turn on anymore,
not even pressing the power button for 30 second
then I press home+volume down+power again
to enter download mode and reinstall stock rom
(the same happens with
sm-t550_p550_p555_cf-autoroot.tar
or twrp_3.0.2-1_sm-t550_mm_7816.tar,
I also tried
twrp_3.1.1-1_sm-t355_251117
remark: none of them mentions T555 nougat)
Put your tablet in Download Mode and take a picture of the text at the upper left of the screen.

What process did you follow to unlock your bootloader?
Stop trying to use Autoroot. Let's figure out what we need to do to get TWRP on your device. Once we do that, you can flash Magisk in TWRP for root.
Please read this guide, sections 1 through 4 (don't worry about the GSI stuff) and tell me what you have or have not done.
ok, I wasn't able to do this:
Unlock Bootloader
Enable Developer Options and turn on OEM Unlocking
OEM Unlocking is missing in the list, as I mentioned in my previous posts
I tried the date change trick but it didn't work

This is the first step. You cannot flash custom or modified images if the bootloader is locked.
Connect to the Internet and check for updates in system options, then check Developer Options again.
I did that step too, several times:
the system found an update available
the first times I cancelled the download
then I downloaded the update without installing it
then I tried and installed it
no result at all the attempts: the OEM Unlock key does not appear in developer options

it is the first time I work on this specific device, so I couldn't tell: so far I couldn't find the OEM unlock option in the list
it never happened before on any of the several devices I have rooted in my life,
included another Samsung tablet SM-T819 running Nougat 7.1.1: the option was right there and all I had to do is tick it.
I used fastboot for other brands
I wish there was a way to use fastboot to unlock the bootloader on Samsung
if there is any I don't know it
adb is working, but when I give the "adb reboot fastboot" command, the tablet enters the download mode and fastboot does not see the tablet anymore from the computer

Samsung devices do not have a fastboot mode.
Since this is a Snapdragon device, it probably cannot be unlocked, especially if it was marketed in the US.
Only Exynos and international Snapdragon devices can be unlocked, unfortunately.

actually I am in Rome, Italy so I am quite positive it was marketed here...
is there a way to know for sure whether or not it is international?
the Samsung SM-T819 I am writing from has a snapdragon chip
but I had no problem unlocking/rooting it,
I bought both the devices here in Rome
now that's a mystery...

Usually the model number is a good indication with phones - the G908U vs G908N for example, but I don't see that being the case here
Have you tried signing into a Samsung or Google account on the device before checking for updates and looking for OEM Unlocking?

I did that too...
on a freshly installed rom:
I connected the internet thru wireless
signed into my Google account
completed the tablet configuration, etc
then I went and enable the developer options
no OEM Unlocking yet again...

You manually checked for an update too?
Did you try disconnecting from the Internet, disabling network time, and manually setting the time ahead 1 week?
