Well, you're new here, that's why I'm writing this.
Yes, RN3 will get official CM14.1, only if a developer willing to support it. There are plenty of CM14.x ROMs here at XDA, out of which that will become official whose developer agrees to work hard and update it with nightlies.

I saw that once you upgrade to 7.0 (for example v7.2.9) that bootloader will be automatically locked, and we will have to unlock it once again.
Can anyone confirm if this is true,

Bootloader cannot be locked unless its instructed by you. Flashing process doesn't have any interference with the Bootloader. Still, about my personal experience, I migrate from custom roms to MIUI 7.1.12 and back atleast twice a week. Its not the case. And given the reason neither its supposed to be. You can clear your doubts.

Yes this is my understanding too, and i myself flash constantly -
but according to xiaomi.eu page for build 7.2.9 : " RELESED Android 7.0 for MI4C, Mi4S, MIMAX, MIMAX PRO, MINote PRO
Your BOOTLOADER will be relocked after upgrade to Android 7.0 so unlock it by en.miui.com/unlock after ROM installation again!!!"

No worries, I flashed today without knowing above and my bootloader still unlocked.
After flashing gapps I get lots error messages. Otherwise no big difference in miui.
Worked ok with supersu 2.79 and twrp 3.0.2

No way! I've been looking forward to properly implemented multiwindow since I first saw Android N. That's such a shame
yep, xiaomi took android 7.0 and transformed it to MIUI 8 based on 6.0 i was hoping at least for display resolution support from 7.0 but no, you still have to edit build.prop and distort apps and icons in default theme. i don't need 6.5" screen because of 1cm fonts

Nougat update for phab 2 series

Does anyone know how to update the android version of our phab 2? I got mine with android 6 m. I tried the system update but it i dont know what did it update? Firmware? I thought it will update the android version from 6 to 7 ..wth
So does anyone here got their phab 2 an update for android 7?
According to this site http://www.theandroidsoul.com/lenovo-android-7-0-nougat-update/ there´s no hardware support found for Nougat release. Can someone confirm this?

ARCore from google that it gonna replace tango will work on every phone above android 7... so that means, even if phab2 pro was ment to be the first AR Tango will left out of all these while it has extras on its hardware for exactly that reason. At least lenovo should put the kernel source and whatever else needed so some brave XDA dev can make some custom rom or bring somehow the nougat in the phab2 pro... at least Lenovo let XDA do your job!
I don't think these phones will update to 7. At least not yet. Operating speed is only 1.3 quad, personally I'm happy with its performance.
Disappointing these are stuck on Marshmallow and can't get Nougat or Oreo.
Any custom rooms for this device?

Lol that's not how it works
From what I've been looking, ZTE seems to have 3 teams. They all work very differently.
The U and G team have a closed beta program. You have to sign an NDA and you basically subject to their abuse, by testing beta ROMs. This has been going on since before Nougat came out.
Lately it seems that the U team needed people with a different set of skills so they asked around. But the G team already has some betatesters. Some are around XDA.
The update for the G was supposed to come in April

The German ZTE website does not provide any downloads other then information like the manual (see https://www.ztemobile.de/support/downloads/?product_id=2100) Before one could download for instance the latest updates (like Nougat for the Axon 7G: a2017gv1.2.0b10). It was mentioned that the German website (https://www.ztemobile.de/) had to provide the official Oreo update. So it seems this is the result of the USA ban (see https://www.reuters.com/article/us-...ling-to-chinese-phone-maker-zte-idUSKBN1HN1P1).
Luckily one can find Oreo 8.1 at different websites like https://www.getdroidtips.com/android-8-1-oreo-zte-axon-7/ or the alternative Lineage 15.1 (see https://www.getdroidtips.com/lineage-os-15-1-zte-axon-7/).

Why did you try to quote me with that. My link already provided an answer.
And for those fishy 8.1 rom guides you posted, we dont have any official lineage 15.1 roms for axon 7 so i wouldn't trust sites like getdroidtips with unofficial versions and just wait until the official one drops.
We have official lineage os 14 here in the forums and many other custom oreo roms which are at least legit.

Oh what is this - LineageOS 15?

I will allow 5 people to join a test group on Telegram. If you want to join send me your name on XDA.
