[Q] S3 Neo won't boot after Odin flash

My S3 Neo I9300I ran stock 4.4.4 KitKat with TWRP 2.7.1 and I tried to install a custom Lollipop rom which did not work so I had to reflash the stock firmware.
After reflashing the firmware with Odin, everything was fine except that the Wifi option was greyed out and unresponsive so I coudn't connect to Wifi. I tried many of the options specified on threads related to this particular issue but to no avail.
Second time I tried to reflash the firmware with Odin, Odin showed "PASS" after which I unplugged the phone and found out that it didn't boot at all, even into Download Mode. No key combos etc worked.
After some Googling, I found out that writing a debrick file to an SD card and inserting it into the phone could get the phone into a bootloop while booting normally and into Download Mode while holding VOL DOWN+POWER+HOME. Without the SD card though, the phone was completely unusable as above.
I then tried flashing the firmware and TWRP again with Odin but still the phone won't boot at all, and inserting the debrick SD card could only get it into Download mode.
Would flashing a firmware from a different region help? Or have I ruined the bootloader? Any help would be greatly appreciated...

[Q] Can't restore stock recovery in Brazilian XT1572 (dual sim)

Hi guys, I need some help, I received OTA to 6.0 but I can't upgrade because I can't restore the stock recovery on my phone.
I tried using the commands "fastboot erase recovery", "fastboot flash recovery recovery.img", using Rashr, TWRP and many others but the stock recovery doesn't work, in the recovery screen I get the message "No command" and the dead android figure with a red triangle.
I already downloaded the stock firmware and flashed all the files a lot of times and I also have copied my OTA file to external SD card to use it again later.
Someone knows what is happening and how to restore the stock recovery? :crying:
EDIT: I just found a solution in other place, the firware file was corrupted, I downloaded it again and now the stock recovery works.
Moderators, please, close this thread.

I have the XT1752, UK version and it isn't dual sim, I thought the 1755 was the dual sim version

Help me please (Bootloop/Bricked)(Samsung Galaxy J5, SM-500FN)

So I was going about doing my business, I rooted and flashed a custom XPosed framework build and after that my device got stuck in a TRWP bootloop, it will not go boot into anything but that.
(When rebooting from TRWP it says "No OS installed, are you sure you want to reboot?"
And when I try to flash a custom/stock ROM it gives me the error "E: Error executing updater binary in zip '/external_sd/ROMNAME.zip' "
Details:
Samsung Galaxy J5, SM-500FN, TWRP v2.8.7.0, Odin cannot recognize the phone while in TRWP which is the only possible state and the PC cannot access it's files, I need to use SD cards to get files on it.
Thanks a LOT to anyone helping me.
What do you mean TWRP is the only possible state? To use odin you need to boot to the USB Download Mode. To do this you need to take off the battery, put it in again, and then do Vol down + Home + Power.
You can flash stock firmware via odin, http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/
Or flash Nick Verse's TWRP

And CM 12.1

Please help!!!!!!

Today i was trying to install the Android Marshmallow 6.0.1 on my Galaxy S5 Snapdragon via Odin, i downloaded the firmware from Sammobile, i verified that the phone model was exactly the same as named on the firmware, i place the .md5 file in the AP slot and everything was ready to go! (The phone was already plugged and in Bootloader mode, and drivers were up to date) then when finishing the flash Odin FAILS to complete the flash and the phone is left with nothing than the Download mode, i panic and try to access recovery mode but realize that there´s no recovery....I proceed to install the recovery.tar into my phone and it works, i start the phone and Samsung logo comes up, finally it loads and does al the process after you flash a Samsung phone.
Everything works just fine!...except for one thing, THERE´S NO RECOVERY!!!. The phone works perfectly but when i try to enter recovery mode, it sends me to Odin mode as it displays a message saying that failed to boot into recovery.
Please help me i don´t know what to do.
Thanks!
Just flash a custom recovery like twrp or cwm
Already did...same problem, recovery won't boot

You need to flash a pit file to complete the install correctly.

How to restore EFS partition with OEM locked, no ADB and no fastboot?!?

Hi.
First of all, please excuse my bad english.
I've a big problem with my Samsung Galaxy S8.
After failed flashing, I've a problem with my EFS partition.
It began with that, that my IMEI and my Carrier informations were gone.
IMEI was not existing anymore, there was only an empty space where the IMEI should be.
The other thing was that the carrier informations also were not available, my phone doesn't recognize my SIM card and didn't want me to insert the PIN.
For fixing this, I followed a instruction to get both back but something went terrible wrong so my phone wasn't able to boot OS anymore, only Stock recovery and downloadmode.
On start the phone stuck at the Samsung logo in a bootloop.
When it boots into recovery I get the error message that system wasn't able to mount and EFS was found.
Downloadmode works normally.
When I try to flash stock rom with Odin, and it works that Odin install the whole rom without any problems, the phone only boots into recovery or stuck at Samsung logo again, even when I try other stock roms.
I think that some partitions were erased or got broken!
I'm also not able to flash twrp or a custom rom because OEM is locked and won't let me flash that and I#m not able to boot into OS to unlock OEM!!
ADB also doesn't work because my computer doesn't detect the phone on the normal way, it just works that it will be recognized by Odin and not by windows explorer.
When I try searching for it with ADB or fastboot devices, I won't get any response!
Summary:
EFS partition not found
System can't be mounted
Only stock recovery
Locked OEM
Can't flash custom recovery or rom
Flashing stock rom does not bring partitions back
Bootloop at Samsung logo
ADB and fastboot do not work
Please help me to get my phone working again because it's new and only works for 2 days!
Thank you! :good:
Yeah, this happened to me recently took and I don't know what to do. Help please anyone
