Please Help - Realme 2 pro Questions & Answers

Hello Friends. I am seeing a floating bubble on my realme 2 pro. What is that and how can I remove it (image attached). Also that bubble is not coming in screenshots.

Bro it's smart sidebar. It let's you add apps and use some other features conveniently any where and anytime while using apps (Reff: attachment 1). Just swipe the bubble to use the smart sidebar. To disable it go-to settings>smart & convenient >smart side bar. (Reff: attachment 2)

A MUST HAVE APP FOR THE NOTE (big screen devices)

Hello Status Bar.
Use a button to pull down the notification bar !!
Very handy with this BIG ASS screen.
Put it everywhere you want .....

Nice sharing but its not necessary to ''touch'' notification bar to pull it down.
If you ''touch'' anywhere in screen and scroll a little bit down, notification bar will be appear..

Another option is Go Launcher Ex.
It enables you to configure gestures for the dock icons.
One of these options is to bring down the notification bar.
Just putting it out here in case peopel wanna know...
very cool all...just put it in my dock...thanks

I've been using Go Launcher for over a year, and this is the first time I realized I could do this.

Some other launchers such as Launcher Pro, ADW Launcher Ex and Go Launcher Ex to mention a few let you set gestures for various things such as the notification bar. So no, the stock launcher isn't the only launcher for this gesture
I prefer setting ADW's swipe down on homescreen gesture for opening Notification tray myself...
I have used gestures since... forever?
I have no idea why this isnt added to the assorted skins or even vanilla Android. It makes so much sense.
I have my gestures setup so that swipe up = open app drawer, swipe down = open notification bar.
Another advantage of this is it means not having to have an app drawer icon on your dock, leaving more room for quick access icons.
Speaking of dock... another pro tip for GO Launcher EX users. Long press on an icon in the dock and hit 'gesture'. Voila - your dock icon can now perform another action by swiping up on the icon instead of just tapping it. Your 5 bar dock is now 10 actions.
I love GO Launcher.
yes, go launcher ex , use its swipe for notification. But it has alot of good functions too
Just another unneeded app running in the background? No thank you

I installed GO Launcher EX on Christmas on my EVO & it is so much faster & cooler now that I think I can wait to see the SGNote hardware in a US store as long as it's Q1 2012 (as EVO's video camera still sucks & Note does obviously have cooler abilities but would ideally like to try it in my hand first). No fan of TouchWiz here & would likely be using GO Launcher EX on Note.

My note 3 with att is missing options like putting lock screen shortcuts and the one handed hover features for the keyboard and and dialer to switch sides are missing? What's a good root and ROM to get these features?
Thanks guy!

Unfortunately I don't believe they are there.
It's not just AT&T, German Unbranded rom also does not have lockscreen shortcuts.
You can, however, set multiple lockscreen widgets to on, select favourite apps and put the ones you want on there. You swipe in the lockscreen and it pops up a (hideously badly designed) widgets with app shortcuts.
I also have no idea about switching sides in onehanded, so we probably don't have that, either.
Also don't have landscape mode support in the homescreen.

Tasks edge (in app shortcuts)

So when I am on my s7 edge (edge apps) and i go to tasks edge. I click the settings tab, on bottom left. Then go to that edge panel and click the bottom pencil(edit) Once there it says on top left( once you add shortcuts to homescreen from within apps they will appear here) so how do I do this? I I can't find any way to make these shortcuts? Any help?
One way is with an app called Awesome Icons. You may also want to install the Touchwiz Icon pack if you are using the stock icons. Also, you may may want to try QuickShortcutMaker. These effectively let you add App shortcuts to Task Edge.
Thanks georgeP,
I figured since it was there and mentioned that Sammy would have had a means of doing it. I will try the above mentioned. Thanks again

I added a couple of things there using Nova launcher but I can't remember how I did it.... Does anyone else have a solution for this? A google search only takes me to this thread.
Sorry to "me too" spam but I haven't found a way yet, either. The QuickShortcutMaker certainly makes shortcuts but I don't see how to put them to the Tasks Edge.
i need to put there messenger contacts, whatsapp contacts, telegram contacts but i can't...there is a way ?
Hi I also want to add more shortcuts to the Edge Tasks panel. so BUMP

One simply need to add the needed shortcut(s) to any page of the *Touchwizz Laucher*
After that it become available to add in the tasks panel
It works even if you use an alternative launcher: one just need to temporary switch to Samsung launcher to create the shortcut
Oncethe shortcut is added to the panel, you don't even need to keep it on the launcher desktop.

Notification Swipe Down Option? (No, not with the fingerprint sensor)

Is there an option or an app that allows you to swipe down from anywhere on the screen to bring down the notification bar? I know launchers like Nova allow you to do that, but I'm really enjoying TouchWiz this time around, and with my small hands, I'd really like to swipe down anywhere on the screen to get the notification tray. If I'm adjusting my hands and fingers to stretch up to swipe down from the rear fingerprint sensor, I might as well just swipe down from the notification bar.
I've noticed Samsung is blocking this only when it comes to the notifications. In action launcher 3 I can map swipe down to anything other than the notification panel.
I use the "All In One Gestures" app and remapped my back soft key to the notification pulldown on a long press.
Odd. I have this working with Nova on my S8
If you enable the app drawer button instead of just swiping, then you can swipe down from anywhere for notifications.

Are you sure this is true? Did you have to enable that somewhere? Not the fingerprint reader, and on the touchwiz launcher.
Well, I was wrong. I read that adding the app button would allow swiping down from anywhere. Just tested out and it still doesn't work. Sorry.

Finally they've implemented that feature. :good: :good:
Go to:Settings -> Display -> Home screen -> and enable Quick-open notification panel checkbox

Why do Verizon customers not get this version through official channels like the Google Play Store or Samsung Galaxy App Store?

How to get pinch to show hidden apps back. A solution.

I loved how on my Mate 8 (on my homescreen) I could execute an outward pinch gesture to show the hidden applications screen. Here I could hide private apps or other apps to clean the amount of apps on the home screens. However they removed this feature from the Mate 9. Have no idea why.
Anyhow there is an app on the Play Store which will allow you to enable it again. It's called EMUI Tweaker:

Brilliant!

Thank you. On my phone (P Smart 2019) the first solution doesn't work, but the second one works well. The best thing about the second solution is that you can edit much more than the ones mentioned.
