LG G2 random bricked today - G2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

After 6 years of honorable service, LG G2 apparently died today.
The phone is stuck on LG logo and keep on reboot.
Download mode seems functioning, so i tried to use flash tool 2014 with stock .kdz image (Lollipop d30 16gb \ Italy).
Installation go on the phone (displaying COM7 and loading bar) since to 30\40%, then it suddenly lose usb recognition and the sound of plug - unplug is reproduced on loop.
Hope to has explain the issue properly. Is my phone totally dead, or there's something to try to revive it?
Gratefully thanks to anyone reply.
Added the log.txt from lg flash tool:

Im sorry if the topic had been already discussed, I tried with search but I didn't find anything for my case. Any help will really be useful...

L7 dead !!!

i tried to update via LGMobile Support Tool but it stuck at 4% and i pull out the usb ... and my phone didn't opened anymore since then(black screen)... i think is bricked...i tried to connect in emergency mode without battery and volum key but nothing ... the pc sees " LGE android platform USB serial port (com5)" in device manager, but when i try to update with KDZ_FW_UPD it says that the phone isn't connected...
any ideas would be helpfull... thx
last option will be jtag in an authorized service...
L.E. I've tried with B2CAppSetup and pc recognize my device as p705 with software v20b but i can't do anything ...
I have the same EXACT problem! The 4% thing happened to me too. But in my case I own a LG Optimus L5 (very similar).
So far, no solution. I did, however, found some light in a post in cyanogenmod forums. I can't post the link, but search for "Hard Brick - To Hell And Back - Guide To Recovery".
Using that software we should be able to rewrite the firmware. Please, take a look, we can pull this off if we help each other.
The problem is that the firmware of the LG Optimus L5/L7 does not contains the same filenames requested by the software, so I'm stuck there.
Last resource: using the "riff box jtag", but it's expensive (for me) and I have to buy it abroad, since I'm from Argentina.
Did you managed something else?
dont worry try again install stock firmware on LG support tool, dont worry if it stops on 4% i had this too, maybe after 10 min it will load 5% and then no stops anymore.
sorry for bad english
The problem is that LG Support tool won't recognize my phone anymore it won't even turn on.

[Q] LG D802 stuck at LG logo after flash

Hi!
This is my first post here (please pardon me if posted in the wrong area).
So, here's my journey thus far:
Received LG G2 (D802 32GB - unlocked international - gf bought off of amazon)
Stock ROM was the 4.2.2
I tried to update it OTA but I was getting 'phone not registered' error.
So I installed LGMobile Support Tool and the driver. In the program it would show an 'Software Upgrade is available' for a moment but then go to 'Your device has the latest software available from the LG Mobile Support Tool' message.
The LG Mobile Support Tool showed that the software version was D80210B
So using the method outlined in this thread below, I flashed the 4.4.2 ROM (KDZ Method):
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2432476
Now starts my troubles.
I first tried the 'D80210B_00.kdz' file. It installed in full, I did a hard reset (power button + volume down) and the phone is stuck on the LG logo...
I tried installing the TOT method outlined in the second half of the first post linked above to no avail (I would get a failure - though I can't remember since it was many hours ago - I've been trying for a while ).
So I tried (in questionable wisdom) the 'Europe Open D80210A_00.kdz' file. Powered the phone down, held the volume up button and connected the USB cable, installed in full, did a hard reset (power button + volume down) and the phone is stuck on the LG logo...
So now I tried booting into download mode (phone powered down completely, hold volume up button, and connect USB cable) and the phone is just stuck in the LG logo. I no longer see the blue dots.
The what I know:
- The phone does show up in my 'Ports' still. Just not showing the download mode on the screen
- LG Support Tool still recognizes it as the LGD80210B
- I can get into Hard Reset and after confirming twice, it doesn't progress any further than the LG logo
- I can press both the up and down volume buttons and get into the 'Hardware Key Control Mode'
The phone has not been rooted.
I'm currently in the process of downloading ubuntu and running it on virtualbox on my desktop to try the below.

I'm getting pretty desperate and am in need of guidance.
What started as helping the gf out with her phone has gone south pretty quick. Sigh... I hope we're not SoL...
Any help or guidance would be most appreciated. I am pretty noob at working on phones (at least anything other than 'routine' flashing updates).
Bump for help.
I have exactly the same problem, see my recent posts. Let me know if you find anything, I have tried everything.

Hello XDA-Community
Today i accidently briked my G2 (D802 KitKat 4.4.2). I was flashing it because i wanted to unroot it but during the process an error showed up and my phone was dead.
So i tried to fix it with this method http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=48765620#post48765620 but it didn't worked as planned.
Now i have an G2 which is stuck in a bootloop and i can't even reach the recovery or the download mode and i don't have any custom recovery installed.
Anyone who can help me with this get's an 10€/$ PSC. I can't give more because i dont have any money left (16 years old).
Big thanks to everyone who can help me with this
PS: Sorry for my bad english i'm not a native speaker
While you wait for an answer make sure your phone is kept charged.
Have you tried LG flashtool and your stock ROM?
make sure it's off, hold the VOLUME UP button while plugging it into your computer, and that should get it into download mode.
Next try using the TOT method (google it) and voila!
Yeah the problem is that i can't even reach the download mode and my computer doesn't recognize my phone it's just an qshub device. ;(
I had the same issue bricking my lg g2 and i was stuck with the logo and nothing more not even download mode, recovery etc...
The way i got it to stock was i installed the lg g2 drivers and from there on just flashed it with flashtools kdz and got it workking again i think this shoould help you out just plug your phone and install the drivers and use flashtools
Install this driver then report me back or cap screen device manager to me.I will help you for fee.

Bricked LG Optimus 3 (e400) (Probably)

Hello everyone! A guy from the forum told me to ask here for better advice. A few days ago i found my old lg e400 on a drawer and i was curious about its condition. I boot it up and everything is fine, exept for the fact that as soon as i entered my pin, the phone shut down due to low battery. Then, when i reboot, it somehow stuck on the lg logo (it does not even go to the flashing one) and thats it. It is not rooted, nor has cwm recovery installed or usb-debugging enabled. All i can do is see the lg logo, or boot into emergency mode. I tried recovery via lg support tool, but i get errors when it comes to writing data to device. kdz updater brings extract file error too. Please, help me. I want to fix it because it was a gift from my late girlfriend. Thank you in advance.
Never mind guys! After a lot of canibalizing with guides i found online, the phone finally works! If anyone from the moderators can delete this thread, beacause now its kind of non-functional. Thank you!

H990DS Loop on LG logo- recover data?(Fasboot hear sound but cannot see phone)

Hi everyone,
Sorry if there was an answer but after reading several thread haven t found one solved that would correspond to my question.
I will be looking to at least recover potential photos etc I may had no backed up yet back then.
I have an LG phone which suddenly start boot looping some times ago (Never did anything as installing costum version or such thing)
In my memory the same day or day before there was firmware upgrade. Phone ran out of battery while sleeping and then was stuck.
I did try a few things back then but did not solve and giving another try now.
Current situation as below
- Model H990DS
- Download mode do not stay on: Disappear then back to LG logo (No detection sound when connect to pc)
- Fastboot do stay on and I can hear the usual windows when connection external device (It does actually open huawei phone soft when connection the LG phone) but phone do not appear.
Is there anything i can try from there?
I read stuff about twrp or other things but not sure if it will help and would like to avoid doing something which may make it harder to solve the issue?
Thanks in advance for your help!
NB: Tried to check with LG but they do not support phone where I am apparetely
