Has anyone checked out, or has the stock cam apk or zip flash file of Redmi Note 7 ? So as to install it also on custom roms.
+1 to this, it's a must have.

Hello guys, time ago flashed a redmi 3 to global rom, very easy with rom and tool to flash (download mode ).
For the redmi 3S what i need ? There is another kind of global rom?
Someone can reply with a link with guide, i try to search on the forum but not find or im not sure what i find!

if you want a custom rom and u have unlocked bootloader then you can find a rom in xiaomi.eu .and yes the flashing method is the same as in redmi 3 .

well i dont think there is a global rom for this 3s atleast we dont have official global rom in miui.com so i recommend you to unlock bootloader and flash custom global miui rom from xiaomi.eu .i have done the same and its even better than the original.
i am using redmi 3 pro

For official global rom, I think it's same method as redmi 3
when device is powered off, vol up + power, then download

Is there any apk of MIUI 9 that i can install on custom rom?
I'm on Mi5 with RR v5.8.5. With this rom, the best camera i have is Open Camera, but i tried MIUI 9 few days ago and the Mi Camera was much snappier and took much better pictures.
But MIUI 9 still too warm even gets hot compare to Ressurection Remix, and RR also has better RAM management.
I tried to extract APK from the MIUI 9 camera but couldn't install on RR, is there any MIUI 9 Mi Camera APK or Modd that I can install on custom rom for my Mi5 ?

there is already a thread about all cam mods for mi5 and there you find miui cam 1.5 .zip to flash it over twrp for your custom rom!

Just flashed this zip, but the pictures taken can not be open, they always appears black when i open the pictures.
Is there any ROM development for the note 7?
I would have thought with sources released a little while we would have started to see a few builds start to pop up?
I know im being a bit of a begging chooser here (as i ask being fully aware i cant contribute any expertise to any project.
Only GSIs for now. And i think there will be none custom roms...only a chinese TWRP.

I think because of the same device codename, a custom ROM for "lavender" will have camera drivers, patches for both Redmi Note 7 Global/China and Redmi Note 7 India.
Redmi note 7 pro got official support for rr rom when will redmi note 7 will have the rr rom.
And please help me if someone can port the miui cam for redmi note 7 custom roms it would be great as it would allow us to use the depth sensor while taking pics.
Redmi Note 7 Pro was released after Redmi Note 7 - they have over 10 custom roms - we have 3, 2 are the same and no official TWRP.
1 more week and i am selling my Note 7 if things don't improve. 6 months this phone has been out for, 2 custom roms and no official twrp, it's very very bad.
Did someone know xiaomi redmi note 4 (mido) have same hardware specific as huawei Nova?
And redmi note 4 have a lot of custom ROM .
I tried to install one ROM on my huawei device but in Twrp says This package is only for mido devices.
Can somebody modify Name of hardware or package name?
