I Have a Galaxy S8 SM-G950U model My Build Number is G950USQU4CRE9 and i want to Upgrade My Phone to Pie via OTA update. Can anyone please guide me how i can Install Updates to Reach DSC1 from CRE9 I am little confused in this update chains mechanism. Any help will be appreciated Thank You

can i manually flash the UAE version of marshmallow for a device from Egypt?, the file name is:
A710FXXU1BPG6_A710FOJV1BPG4_A710FDXXU1BPG1_HOME.tar.md5
it is for A710FD, is this the only thing i nedd to check to make sure it is ok for my device?

So the new firmware update is really bad on the battery and I wanted to rollback for my SG955W. I downloaded the latest 7.0 firmware from sammobile and tried flashing with ODIN but it fails for some reason.
Can someone help me why?

I do not think that is possible. Bootloader on your model was updated to V3 from V2 on Nougat.
Samsung is responsible for doing this. They should be sued!

I'm looking up stuffs on how to flash Nougat 7.0 to my phone. My phone is a Galaxy S8 (SM-G950F, currently on 9.0)
It doesn't seem all to clear though.
So far, I have TWRP installed.
Anyone wants to help me find my way in this, by any chance?

Due to bootloader version numbers in regards to firmware you cannot down grade to previous version. IE: pie to nougat or even some version of oreo.
