My instagram mode doesn't work properly, 3 weeks ago was fine but know every selfie or video that I take, when its transfered automatically to the instagram app, stretch the photo or video, persons looks stretched and elongated... Any thoughts what is causing this? Didn't find anything on Google

I tried it once and had that issue so never bothered with it again.looked badly stretched and zoomed in too much

People, i seem to have a problem, up until a few hours ago picture thumbnails in the album app looked fine... now for some reason they look horrible and discoloured and not in focus but when i tap the thumbnail the picture is fine.. what the hell has happened here? This is just with pictures taken with the inbuilt camera btw, all the other picture thumbnails are fine.
Any help would be appreciated.

We used to get that up until the camera fix from HTC came out, once installed, everything was fine and dandy.

Any photos you have taken prior to installing the fix will still look crappy all the ones after look ok.
I have this too and it effects photos taken AFTER the htofix was installed!
Any idea why the the first video I ever shot with my new S4 (first Android experience ever) today - played back perfectly fine on my new S4. But when I uploaded to Facebook, played back upside-down. (shot in landscape / horizontal mode). Is there a correct way to hold it, even though it recorded and played back fine on the phone?

Its FaceBook that does that. you should check it on the computer and it will be correct...

LOL oooh it's Facebook's fault! That's why the 2nd of 2 videos now on FB are upside down. NEVER happened in the last 5 years on my iPhone. Weird. Hey where's that setting on FB because I should really fix that.
So, hello guys, I have the same problem, 4 video uploaded on Facebook and all upside down... any news or workaround? It's kinda of annoying...

I've been having this problem for months now and I can't seem to fix it. Basically, whenever I open the camera to post a story on Instagram, it's already zoomed in, I cant zoom out and it's all blurry. When I take the photo, the frame is bigger than what it is seen in the preview before actually taking the photo.
I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app, I've tried resetting my phone too but nothing so far has worked. I'm starting to think it might be the phone software and not the app.
Please someone help me! It would be really appreciated. Thank you.

Everytime I try to upload video stories to my Instagram they appear choppy. My previous phone did not have this problem. It happens only with videos recorded with this phone. Any solutions?
Things I've tried
- Custom camera apps
- uploading it first on Snapchat and then uploading on Insta.
- h.265 codec
H.265 codec severely reduces the dynamic range when uploaded on Instagram but fixes the smoothness issue.
To see what I'm talking about check highlights on my Instagram account @_sjvisuals "Zenfone".
Same thing happened to me! Im using zenfone 5 2018. It didnt used to be like this but when instagram recently updated the app, my ig stories are now choppy! Is therr any way to fix this?
So it's probably Instagram's fault. I though only I was experiencing this but it seems to be a prevalent issue with Zenfone, at least for now.

I have fixed it. Search on Google "Instagram apk", open first link and download an older version, something around 45. You will lose some minor features but this video lag will be fixed.

I've updated to the current OOS10 open beta and now if I take photos or record videos, they are not rotated anymore when viewing them in the Google Photos app. Usually after taking a photo by holding the phone horizontally, the image rotated when viewing the photo holding the phone vertically.
Please help!

Install stable rom instead of the beta. Beta has ended. I hope that will probably fix it.

I can concur with exactly the same problem. After googling I appened the reddit user post with same issue.
Nothing fixes it to me (In reddit there was a reboot and other suggestions). Nothing worked for me at all and like you it's extremely irritating that all videos and photos in landscape are wrongly oriented. Everything else I can sort of grumpily cope with.
If you upload photos to google photos then shift+R allows for rotation but that's hardly a solution is it and doesn't work for videos obviously.
So yes, its a nightmare, and every day I press the update button in the forlorn hope that there is a new beta to fix this
My config is Oneplus 6T with OP6T_O2_BETA_30

You mean rotation doesn't working at all?...
I don't understand exactly the issue...
Also on beta android 10.. everything works great..

i had few issues with rotation in the beginning right after updating to android 10...
I've made a clean flash from this beta..and all bugs or glitches are fixed...
I recommend to wipe data on recovery and start from scratch

Also rotation and all the sensors didn't work for me after dirty flash the Q from pie...
After wiped data on recovery .. Everything works great
