I guys (Sorry for my bad english) i have a problem with my redmi note 7. When I take a photo flash hasn't synchronized with the shot, the light during the time of the shot Is on, this Is a very big problem and I can't solve It. Anyone can help me?
Did you try with another camera app?
Happens to everyone, the flash is activated all the time, only stops when the picture is done.
Is this a bug? Nobody knows...

Hi !
I have a Defy for more than a year now and I finally decided to flash it. So now, i'm using it with miui rom (2.3.7a).
But since i've flashed it, i have some problems with the camera. I can't take picture in "macro", when i'm too close from the things i want to take in picture, the image is fuzzy. The camera don't focus anymore, it's very annoying because i take a lot of picture wit my phone..
Is someone here who has already had this problem? can i fix it and how?

I have the same problem with this update, but my camera is locked in macro mode.
I have tried android 2.1, 2.2, 2.3, CM7, and now i'm using MIUI but the camera is almost useles...

I tried to change my rom this week end, I installed cm7 but sadly, the problem is still here, and nobody seems to know how to solve it. Could we install an other "camera application" or something like that, could it solve the problem or do you tqink it will be the same?

Hi everyone I had just recently flashed Cloudy's Cloudy Pro II 1.1 Rom and almost everything has been running very smoothly since the first boot. The only issue that I have been having is that the icons in camera mode do not auto rotate meaning that they are always in landscape mode when recording a video or taking a picture. Is this intentional or am I experiencing something abnormal? Please let me know what you guys think. BTW this is my first time posting on XDA

This is the second post first was on April 1 2012. Anyways, I have this rom and I can take photos fine. Maybe you need to re-flash? you can first clear cache in the recovery to see if that helps. Then go into settings/ apps/ and clear cache and clear data. Good luck!
Thanks but I figured out what the issue was. I kept getting a bad download on the baseband. After the 3rd time I flashed it and finally got it to work. I appreciate the input though! :good:
I am not able to find that someone else commented on camera problem, I hope I am not the only one but at night when there is not a lot of light my camera won't work, when I try to switch between front and back it just freezes and I get "Camera can't connect" and then I have to open and close camera app 5-10 times to get it to work again. Is there any solution for this maybe ? Did anyone else have this problem ? I found this thread and I see there are others with this problem. I am currently on MIUI Global 7.8.21.8 (MALCNDE).

Hello, I took a few days with my elephone s7 X25, I was updated to the 20161219 version and everything without problems ... but the other day I went to make a video when I realized that the flash of the camera was turned on and the moment I turned it off ... I do not know if it happens to you, but it only happens to me when I make a video and I want the flash light to appear ...

Hi guys, I have been dealing with s8 camera problem for months now and decided to ask before I smash my phone into the wall.
Problem looks simple, I start recording and it randomly stops. Its followed by quick flash(the one that you see when switching the camera on) and looks like camera is restarting. It happens after 2,5, 10 seconds or sometimes doesn't happen at all. I recorded a video of my baby and after 20s I found out that recording stopped and I didn't get anything. I tried to use a camera in safe mode, seems to be working fine there.
Does it mean that some apps interfere with camera app? Also tried cleaning the cache which didn't help. Is there a way to find what apps are causing the issue? Is factory reset best option in my case? I would add that I can see those weird flashes even when I'm not recording and camera is simply switched on.
I would appreciate any help guys. Thank you.

Yes, they worked fine and didn't have any issues. I would like to use an original app tho because I find it much quicker and less complicated. Wonder if it's maybe related to Samsung cloud sync. I'm just too scared to factory reset lol
So you are saying that U never tried to solve the problem by doing a factory reset? That should be second thing on your list, after restarting. xD
