Speed is on par with previous generation of snapdragon 8XX perhaps. No sign of lag in game even with medium power saving ( 70% cpu speed).

I second this. In about two months of light and heavy usage this phone never lagged. Interactions are very smooth and fast (coming from a Galaxy S7, which started to lag after very short usage)

overalls performance is good ui very responsive & fluid, no signs to complain about it. great combination between SD730 soc with one ui

I've the Q7 since 1 week. Compared with my old Samsung S4 it's quite fine, let's say faster. Quick response on the screen. Complex graphics in the firefox browser (e.g. maps.luftdaten.info) are faster the in the S4. The build quality ist good, even the plastic back is o.k. GPS is very good, even indoors the position is found after less the 10 s, accuracy 3 m. My S4 didn't found position at all. The wifi has a wide range. The handling is due to a width of 69 mm much better than those huge phones. Weight is only 145 g. Fast charger. Battery life is in low use mode above 2 days, in heavy use mode 8 h.
In summary it's a fine phone for daily use. And looks quite good. For just 150 EUR the best you find.
Most of the time the phone is very fast, every once in a while (few times a day) it'll lag for a few seconds and a tap could take a few, Google maps lags notoriously tho. 85% of the time tho smooth and fast

Snapdragon 855 is a very fast mobile processor, barely second only to the updated 855+ in 2019.
6gb of RAM has yet to present me any real world limitation, because apps reload fast enough if they have been dumped from RAM that you can often not even tell much if a difference anyways.
Loading a large game is decently fast, and installing apps is very quick.
You will struggle to notice any difference between any Snapdragon 855 device. Yes, it is fast. Maybe faster or slower than competitors but it doesn't make any difference. V50 is just fast enough and there is no so many place for improvement in v60 because of in most daily task snapdragon 855 based devices are lightning fast.
is it just me or does the phone (perhaps only the launcher?) feel laggy all round

Blazing fast. Faster than any other device owned (including Samsung Note 10)
Excellent
Truly nice. And really smooth with 90hz enabled
12 months in and it's faster than my Mac converting video files. Impressed.

Everything is buttery smooth on this device. Its internals are fundamentally an S10e so it's no surprise that every app and game I've tried has been flawless. 8Gb of RAM isn't bleeding edge but it's certainly plenty for current games and the Snapdragon 855+ is beefy enough too.

I have been using the a21s for a while now and its excellent. Play call of duty on it and it's just fine and the cameras are above average honestly I can't fault it.

I have been using it for about a week and it's fast responsive and the battery it's excellent it can shug on for almost two days in one charge.
It is nice until it is mine
Except the fact that FORTNITE is no longer supported on my Samsung A21s (From July 2020) , it still feels a little bit nice as butter in most of games like GTA:SA , MINECRAFT , COD , PUBG , And most of the games that I have played which consume high amounts of energy . it's pretty much powerful on this device till now
It was decent on Android 10, but on Android 11 there is lag every time you do anything.
Also it can't hold an app in memory to save it's life anymore.
