Hello Radirajjj,
I'm also trying to install it Right now I can't flash the GSI because apparently my phone doesn't support Project Treble. I'm actually using OB29.
Here what I get when I play :
Code:
adb shell getprop ro.treble.enabled
Code:
false
Did you pass this step ?

I installed treble check app, and it says my device support treble.
And just now run this command and it says "True"

By updating to the newest oos build, your phone will make a vendor partition and support treble...I haven't tried to flash beta 2 due to reported bugs and secured wifi issues, but wiping all data and internal storage, using stock vendor and boot images, you should be able to boot
Someone please correct me if I'm wrong

There is now a Semi-GSI Q! Should be easier to install. Did anyone tried? (With or without mokee).

I did install the newest stable OOS build, I can see the Vendor partition AND Treble Check app is saying my phone does support Treble. However, the command to check it through ADB is still saying "false".

@Khwaja7, I think that to have a full A/B support through MoKee you have to fully format /Data but for semi GSI I don't think full A/B is required

Okay, I did follow the instructions you gave us in your previous post; however, I can't get it working.
Sometimes when booting, it only powers the notification light in blue, and nothing happens. Sometimes, it has a bootloop showing "Android" .
I tried to flash every single img in this Mega repository :
https://mega.nz/#F!CYQxgCDK!Dl4kKANVDRy5kOFkNsuMVw
I think OP5 has A/B partition, but I'm not sure about this so I tried each one.
Can you help me to install this ? I just want to give it a try Did you install it ? @furious.builder

I really think it's A only, but I may be wrong
A friend tried many techniques on his 5T and soft bricked his phone... I think we need an updated Vendor even if it should work on 8.1/9's vendors :/

PSA - DotOS 8.1 for Huawei Hi6250 devices works flawlessly

I was about to give up and go back to stock but lo and behold I got ahold of a link to a really nice GSI for our Honor 7x devices, and any other device with the Hi6250 chipset. It has worked flawlessly on my BND-L24 and doesn't give me weird uncertified device and internal storage errors like the treble GSI found in the treble ROM forums.

Alright, let's install.
1. Boot into TWRP
2. Go to wipe - advanced wipe
3. Wipe all but SD card
3. Then go back to wipe.
4. There is an option next to advanced wipe, forgot what it was. (I think it was "Format Data")
5. Tap that option and type "yes"
6. Reboot back into TWRP
7. Flash the ROM and flash Open GApps right after flashing the ROM (I used Pico Open GApps)
8. Do a factory reset, wipe Cache, Dalvik / ART cache, and Data in advanced wipe just to be sure.
9. Reboot

EDIT: I'm no longer on this ROM so if there are bugs and you want me to reproduce them, I can not help you. Sorry, I need a more stable ROM for our Honor 7x's than this one. Thanks for understanding.
It's not the best idea to wipe with TWRP. It's better to do it with stock recovery or manually with fastboot.
Hi !
Does it work on BND-L21C432 ? What are the steps to install the rom ? Does it have to be EMUI 8.0 ?

Yes I flashed the 16.4, not sure what happened. I can get into twrp, tried wiping and flashing the DotOs image again but all it does is boot into Huawei recovery. When I get home I will try downloading the stock firmware from the MT website and if I can get it to boot up Ill try flashing DotOs again.

How's it compared to lineage 15.1? How's battery life? Post few screenshots and check whether substratum works or not? TIA

Most likely there is something wrong with what you're using to flash the GApps, like the SD card, USB OTG, etc. Try switching it out.
But before doing all that, first flash the ROM, and then reboot again into TWRP and try flashing it if that makes a difference. Make sure you're flashing the ROM like the original post says.

Is P going to be only treble for our device or there is going to be a non-treble version? because it takes some work to enable treble without bricking the device..

Treble ROMs are booting

Hello,
noone talked about Treble ROMs here yet so i'm gonna start this now.

Here is my report of what's working:

well, miflash is not the only one, you could also try EDL Tool from right here (ROMs, kernels, development thread).
But yeah, you can. I wonder why you are still in AEX 4.6, but I guess you still haven't got a vendor partition. If that's the case just download a flashable zip of the stock ROM that you want (would've been real handy if you told us what model you have) and flash it away

I'm just saying that you are on an ancient ROM. What's that AEX version, Nougat?
Right now I'm on AEX 6.0 Pie. But yeah, i was just curious.
You will probably need to format your internal storage, but maybe you won't need it. Just do this: After installing the ROM (whatever you decide, EDL Tool or TWRP) install Magisk too, BEFORE BOOTING FOR THE FIRST TIME (If EDL Tool, simply flash the ROM, then tell it not to reboot, flash TWRP, enter TWRP, and flash Magisk; if directly from TWRP just flash magisk right away). This will prevent your internal storage from getting encrypted.
Remember to WIPE DATA AND CACHE BEFORE FLASHING
Anyhow if your phone asks you for a password that doesn't really exist when you try to boot, you'll have to format the internal storage

This isn't true, If you use an older TWRP and install android 12 you can get the qualcom crash dump screen error as seen here https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...os11-open-beta-2-3-and-stable-latest.4316563/
TWRP doesn't really support Android 12 yet, mostly the encryption
TWRP does need to support the android version you have installed for it to work properly
I cleaned install LOS 12L using recommanded steps.
I then flashed TWRP A12 these ways, from Magisk Manager 25.1 :
Flash twrp.zip WITHOUT reboot
Install Magisk (recommanded way)
Reboot
