I can't enable any intelligent feature in camera settings.
Can anyone help me for this?
They all are greyed.

Switch to the rear camera when you want to edit those setting, they aren't available for the front camera.

Im sorry but its only available for a perticular mode.
I just found.

What about if your rear camera is grey as well

The Greyed out toggle buttons will only be available in "photo" mode. Before pressing "settings" in camera, make sure you have selected the "photo" mode.

Just open camera, look to the right bottom icon and you`ll see a flash sign, press that and hit A for autoflash.
exit HDR mode, in the touch menu (when you press the screen in the camera) you have to your upper left icon with camera and rounded arrow beneath it, press it and choose it, it will change to back camera, and now turn on the flash using the touch menu

[Q] Shutter Sound

Does anybody know of a way to switch off the camera shutter sound? It's really loud. I have the N910F / Vodafone / The Netherlands. There's no option in the camera settings. Mute the phone doesn't do the trick, and the Enforced Stream Silencer can't get it done either In Camera FV-5 it's possible but I'd like to use the options of the Samsung app.

This is always an issue with phones, as it's in part due to privacy laws that the option to turn off the sound is missing. Usually someone comes along with a MOD but I tend to root my phones so I all I do is delete or rename the sound files found in /system/media/audio/ui

Thanks. I think I've used the wrong term. With 'Mute' I meant I set all the different volume controls to zero. Then it's in the Silent Mode, right?
T-Mobile version has a toggle in the camera app to turn off the shutter sound. On my device it was toggled off by default.

Yes I tried that but it doesn't work. A regional thing probably as apprentice mentioned. But I was hoping someone here would know a workaround

Cannot turn on camera location tag

I am not sure where I am going wrong. Im looking to turn on the GPS location tag in the camera app. The problem is that there is not way to enable it in the settings of the camera app.
Is it hidden somewhere else?
On my Verizon NI 4.4.4 S-5 the location tag is set in the camera settings. You hit the gear icon and up pops all of the various settings. Location Tags are in the row that is third from the bottom on the left hand side.
Dave
Thats the problem...... not there!
found the option.....you have to change it to front facing camera to see the shutter and location options

It is right there in the camera settings. HDR (rich tone) Auto, On, or Off.
Soon as I press record it says HDR On in the corner.
That only applies to pictures.

Camera detection problem

Hello, after last security patch (february 2019), the normal camera on the back isnt recognized by software. I mean, in any app i open, there is only front camera and back tele camera.
Searching for a solution to bring back "portrait mode" and normal, but not zoomed photos.
Thanks in advance!
Enter settings - apps - disable camera app.
Reboot and re-enable camera app. This should do the trick
