Strange issue on the buttons - Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge Questions and Answers

Hi guys,
So, my S7 Edge fall and it made a tiny (-1mm) mark on the chassis near the home/apps button BUT did not broke the screen, it was literally near screen on the bezel.
Now, when I press the Back button or when I'm touching my screen it randomly open the "close apps" screen like I was pressing it...
I already tried a factory restore (I thought it was after I update it) but the issue remains...
Any advise? I did not open it already because S7 is water proof and it will be a mess to close it right? Any ideas what can cause this? Whole screen or hardware?
Thanks!

Click to collapse
A possible cause is a loose connection between the d-pad and the screen. That's the one that has to be absolutely level and neither over nor under tightened - also insidentally a connection often associated with white screen problems somewhat worse than yours:
Connection seen here held by two screws.

Yarvik smp50 broken gray screen.

Hello,
I got a problem since yarvik was gone bankrupt, my screen is gray. I think in the inside something is loose since I can hear something when I shake it. Now I want to know if this is solvable. There are sounds hearable when turning on. The screen is always gray no other display. So can I crack my yarvik ingenia horizon smp50-201 open? There are screws in it. I tried to open it nothing worked. BTW the screen is cracked too.

Enter download mode and recovery. If you only see part of the screen in both modes, the screen needs to be replaced. If not seen in either mode the GPU on the motherboard is the culprit and needs to be repaired.

Multiple pink lines on Motorola Droid Turb 2 screen

I am worried about My device which got pink lines, I don't know what happened to it. If I press about speaker then lines transparency becomes low.
Here are some main points regarding my issue.
1) Touch is working fine
2) In the start, there was a single line and after pressing the about the speaker it does not appear. but now multiple lines but they don't go away even I press ...
3) Do I need to replace LCD panel or there is some other issue ???
Can any body help me regarding my issue, I would be very thankful to you?

I had the same issue last year, and it got worse. Luckily was just in the 1-year warranty period and had it repaired by Lenovo

How to reattach volume/power buttons?

I opened my Mi 9T to replace the broken screen and accidentally removed the buttons while doing so. The problem is whenever I put them back in they just fall out again, but they do work while inside the phone. I wasn't able to find any video or guide on this topic, so I'm hoping I can get some help here. Please see the attached photo. I think there must be a specific order and orientation in which these parts have to be inserted.

ok, I figured it out myself.
For the people arriving here from Google:
You have to press down the power and volume up button while inserting the metal piece and then the rubber part. This will lock in the buttons.
