MIUI v7 rom for HTC one m7

Hello to everyone,
While searching on the internet I find this MIUI 7 rom for HTC m7 ( for all variants I guess)... This is Chinese rom where in my opinion is the best for any other "JT " or " xl" authors who create miui roms for this phone...
It is truly MIUI 7 version for HTC m7 with a lot of optimization there in comparison with other MIUI Rom's...
Iam new here and I don't know how to post some link or to share my file here, but I will find some way...
This rom is not my own. I just want to help anyone here who is not completely satisfied with the previous couple version of this MIUI 5-6 rom's. So, I guess I help someone with this rom.
Here is the characteristics of this rom translated from Chinese.. :

Installation is the same like others custom rom's.. Wipe data (Factory Reset) and then flash this rom.

i'm installing this but stuck at 1% on aroma installer. why ? :crying:

Try to restart the device and reinstall it also if you can wipe data and davilk and cache sometimes it fixes the problem

i did it already, i'm wipe my dalvik, cache, data, but sadly still stuck on 1% (>>>System)
do i have to wipe my system as well?
please help me..

What Recovery are you using twrp? im using multirom btw , and have you tried re downloading the rom? also make sure that in the aroma installer just press next in every option and when in the popup or whatever that is you got to press the green button.

If you still have your old rom go to the google play store and download the multirom manager and install that twrp it might work better with this rom.

fine no over heating nothing it is stable and if your 3g data is buffering i will give you the build prop tweak. the 3g data is patched but now fixed wifi works but offline charging is the same as redmi2 bennifits of this rom is themes share it with friend and exspect updates.:laugh:

cm12 or miui 8 which one you want. cm12{ as camera issue but i hope i can fix it ) (miui 8 is in beta form and only for testing not for daily use and not yet release so it is expected for installing miui 8 beta do not turn on any form of internet connection as you setup or else you will be stuck at (virifying devices) i will upload it for testing use miui 7 stable to replace and fix issues.

i currently running miui 8 so wait for a while until i make a video showing it and also see if it is a bug but try pinch for widgets o n home screeen

I tried what you have recommended . Widgets aren't a deal breaker .
miui 8 wow sound great!
With miui it seems to me that the screen can be made brighter or dimmer than with the V3 rom. Nice treat.

how is the rom from stock for you ? (well for me whatsapp works and games play better but the kernal is not very good just like the stock rom but any way miui is not that fast and color os is fast and v3 one hand mode is supported but wifi
and camera not working on the rom so thats why i do not upload it yet.

For me all apps seem to work fine.
Camera works though I did not do video.
I had one random reboot but even stock did that occasionally.
I don't mess with games at all .
Is 7.5 a possibility ?

some thing is wrong with your phone i never get reboot on stock or on this rom backup your data and install the new firmware and install the recovery i give you and if you like cm12.1 well i made it today it was hard to get it on stock kernal.

it took two weak to made and i finished it today boot time is 18 second instant improvements 45 second was too long to wait

Kind of happy the way things are now.

CM is OK but I feel that's it's kind of bland.imho.

i have fix all the bugs in version 2 games work fine i am plaing minecraft story mode on 720p without freeze web browser will videos without freeze.
tell your devices info . my is the usa 16gb version.

Hey guys I made this thread to discuss about a custom rom known as CARBON ROM , I'm sure all of you know and have tested the build from 7th Jan
But what issues did you have with the Rom ? Any suggestion or workaround you have feel free to share, if you're a developer then you could help us fix bugs.

Im currently using the latest 23jan build. Rom is preety smooth nd battery life is also fine and i havnt come across any new bugs, so the old/known bugs are
1)camera is dark and autofocus is broken
2)echo in call
3)torch sometimes does work when toggled from quick settings.

I have tested latest build (107). My micro sd card is missing....my internal archive (all zip file about rom and gapps) is empty and when reboot always appear the first configuration.
For now I turn on build 104 dated 04/01/17

23/01 has no issues with microsd and internal zips.

Are u able to connect to bluetooth device?

I used build 07.01, i cant use torch, Sd card.. I'm actually on PureNexus 07.01 and it's very good, the only problem that I have is torch not working

First extract the boot image from the zip file, flash it through fastboot then flash twrp using fastboot also start the phone by holding power and volume down to get to recovery do a wipe (system, data & caches) install rom and enjoy

How is the camera on this rom?
I know it's not Sony stock rom quality, but is it usable?
Also should someone change from ExistenZ to this since ExistenZ is not going to be updated?

Camera is WIP. It Is the same quality as aosp nougat. Autofocus is broken nd pictures are very dark. If u need camera as primary then I won't suggest this rom or Any other nougat rom.we will have to wait till new blobs are released.

This ROM can be installed with TWRP 2.8.70 from AOSP thread - already tried

No sound no mic working while calling (Oreo Roms)

I was on stock ROM as @ Noob
Changed to Aex Extended 5.7 official because of garbage volume , now on Aex ROM bootloop ,auto reboot,Pubg ping unstable network and many more bugs told me to change it.
Finally
So I installed Crdroid ROM yesterdayIt is mind blowing but still I can't call someone on this one
:crying:(Volte is working fine)
But while calling there is no sound from speakers (both)
and even on headphone also Mic is not working so No one will hear me on the other side ...
Please Guys please give me solution for it.:cyclops:
PS: suggests some other ROMs with better stability and performance with battery life

If volte is working and you are facing problem with calls try flashing this file. It may work.

guys install any 9.0 ROM and get out of it! it worked for me.
My issue was started when I moved from 9.0 to 8.1, so however, every time when I used a higher ROM it fine but its impossible to come down.

I feel so bad about you to mate, I'm so terrified when I was #$%@ed up with the same issue and most of the developers or users has little understanding about every device, and we tend to do with our own knowledge but 90% we fail and there is none to help.
In my case, I found a guy who can do it for me, it's very expensive to return back to normal and I did, since then I don't do this experimental **** anymore, I better advice same to you.
In my very personal experience, I did not enjoy the Rooting power of wisdom than running into lots of problems. So I quit and bought One Plus 6 and will never root again.
I have reached my limits. So I hope you will find a good solution outside the XDA and stop the madness of root and use a good VPN like TOR and move on.

Maybe you just went faster than what you could comprehend, didn't research enough, hyper excited to try new things etc..
Yes, it's okay that you were frustrated and you won't do this again.
But, it's clearly stated that what we do here has it's ups and downs!
You just failed to understand the cost to benefit ratio for you.
Also what was prognosis for your problem that was so costly?!
Probably you should have used an older device to get your hands dirty and learn & tinker a bit!
Nothing can be done here for a hardware issue.
Though there are extremely talented and brilliant developers and some users too who gladly help and guide here.
Though in all fairness it's your opinion after going through bad experiences so I feel for you mate & on the flipside I do respect it.

Bro, I used pie rom for 5 days after I flashed an Oreo rom with pico gaps.I got rid of incall volume problem. thanks to developers

I Know the solution
1)flash fastboot stock 247 rom
2)flash twrp 3.2.2
3)install any of your favourite oreo rom
4)see mic will work now
5)reboot to recovery and select backup
Backup all the partitions
6) reboot to system and save both twrp 3.2.3 and twrp 3.2.2
.
7)If u want to use pie roms first install twrp3. 2.3. img and then flash your rom (mic works)
8)If u again want to come back to oreo roms just flash that twrp 3.2.2 reboot to recovery again
and restore that whole backup we created in step 5
9)Now Mic will work even after downgrade g from 9.0 to 8.1

Thanks my friend, this fix worked on my Max Pro M1 (4GB version) running LineageOS 15.1.
My calls stopped working pretty much overnight, I'm still not sure what caused it. I couldn't hear the caller and they couldn't hear me. I wonder how exactly this fix works?
Edit: I just realized that Dolby Plus also disables SElinux. Is there no way around it?

I already have 3.2.3 installed, it's still not working. I'm running OxygenOS port

Installation instructions
- Download All the files
- install treble twrp recovery
- Take a backup
- Wipe cache
- Wipe dalvik cache
- wipe system
- wipe data
- flash vendor&PT firmware
- flash treble system.img (download your prefer os,if you don't know what it is then Google it )
- Reboot
- Enjoy!

But whit out installation instructions , which order , i don't think any one dares. Flashing these files, no matter how ichy we all are trying it, a number of things could easily brik our phone's in a way there's no returning from, so if you could share all you know , it might help , in somebody dare trying it

But what is the meaning by this treble, I now I should google it, but these things we can already do, I mean OEM is easy installing, maybe in a different way, but what is new. Easier with treble?

Nice if you like stock, but I don't and would never install it, if any aosp is out or custom ROMs available for my device, stock sucks big time.

But whit out installation instructions , which order , i don't think any one dares. Flashing these files, no matter how ichy we all are trying it, a number of things could easily brik our phone's in a way there's no returning from, so if you could share all you know , it might help , in somebody dare trying it

Already post it, and somebody did tried to flash it and it works great , only one problem it did not support Android P

I tried them and it works
Problems i faced.
Home button didnt work
charge led didnt work
couple of other things...
I got aosp, rr, pixelexperience working.

Sometimes **** happened but it just started and the original poster says it will keep updating so don't worry about it, BTW did you flash the official or homemade(???)

But what is the meaning by this treble, I now I should google it, but these things we can already do, I mean OEM is easy installing, maybe in a different way, but what is new. Easier with treble?

I think the meaning Is about experience, It always good thing to experience new things,and There is alot of customazi os you can choose , like rr los axe aicp............

I did both. Suns one from the weibo link you posted is the one that works.

My English not taht well so I'm not sure what you mean, if you ask about who is the creater, i can tell you that isn't me, i just sharing his works that is all ? and the weibo link is straight to op?

The roms that are compatible are GSI 8.1 roms. Others don't work.
How I got it to work;
Flash twrp with treble support. Reboot to recovery.
Flash both vendor zips, reboot to recovery
Flash U11 treble zip, reboot to recovery
Flash Oreo GSI system image of your liking from https://forum.xda-developers.com/project-treble/trebleenabled-device-development
Flash U11 selinux zip. Reboot.
It should boot.
Also, make sure you backup in twrp beforehand as if it's not what you want, you can just restore.
For pixelexperience, I had issues with gapps verification. It wouldn't let me get around it.

Do you mean backup in New twrp, or old, i assume old backups won't work anymore?
And is it right what treple checker says that our device i a device with only one partition, thus only flash a images , with gapps?
And treple check says no treble support, but that is because i didn't flash zips yet surely
And which roms would you recommend?
Are all gsi images compatible with our htc u 11 ?
I'm on rr and not stock, magisk installed, does this matter?

After flash the GSI image phone stays on HTC logo. Next problem is that phone can't recognise the internal storage when you try to do something on TWRP. Of course, I flashed the selunix zip on the last step. Tested PixelExpirience and AOSP, Android 8.1, A-only

Did you do Clean flash before you flash GSI? and after the flash GSI you should do a FACTORY RESET
