Need thermal-engine.conf from MIUI V10.2.1.0.OADMIXM Global Stable - Xiaomi Mi Note 2 Questions & Answers

I'm currently trying to build a ROM and need thermal-engine.conf file, it's located in /vendor/etc/thermal-engine-8996.conf or /system/etc/thermal-engine.conf AFAIK. Is there any members here that currently using MIUI V10.2.1.0.OADMIXM Global Stable (latest)? If so can you upload the original file?
Thank you.
EDIT: Nevermind, it's decrypted.

Fixing data issue with Resurrection Remix ics v9.6 exclusive XXLPH 4.0.3 Full-Wipe

Hi guys,
New to the forum and couldn't post in the dev section. Have done significant research on this topic but can't find clear resolution.
On the Resurrection Remix ics v9.6 exclusive XXLPH 4.0.3 Full-Wipe thread, there was a comment made that referred to the fixing of a data issue some user where finding. I am having the same issue and wanted to clarify the resolution.
Web browser accessing data, but apps and market not.
Please help clarify this procedure
""The file apns-conf.xml is messed up on 9.0 . No apns are displayed .
Take the "apns-conf.xml" from 8.6 and it works fine. Data and radio
system/etc ""
Unzip latest version
replace xml file
rezip
flash
Is that correct?
Thanks

That's the one - the beta and the leaked version are the same.
You might want to look for kingmercians version though - it includes a working recovery, supersu and basic gapps, some bloat has been removed and a few things have been fixed.

Wireguard module for stock OOS 9.0.14/15?

Hello,
Can anyone suggest a reasonable method to get wireguard support into the stock OOS kernel? I had hoped I could extract the .ko file from a compatible custom rom (9.0.15's kernel is the same as 9.0.14's), but it seems everything is statically linked (I've done kernel work but not on android before).
I also looked into compiling OOS myself with just the wg tweak but got lost in gcc/clang/cross-compilation and gave up after a while. If there's some build automation someone could recommend I steal from that would be really helpful also.
Appreciate any tips!

Flashable ZIP file of the EEA rom.

Does anubody have, or know, where I can get a flashable zip file of the EEA rom?
Found a file to flash with the Mi Flash Tool, but then the anti rollback kicks in and prevents the rom from being flashed.
Here it is: https://bigota.d.miui.com/V10.3.8.0...EAGlobal_V10.3.8.0.PFJEUXM_5820b982aa_9.0.zip

Thank you!
I tried xiaomi.eu a short while but no widevine L1 (yet), couldn't enter battery optimisation, translation errors.
I guess xiaomi.eu rom is a bit too early for me atm.

[Q] [SOLVED] Building OOS13 Kernel - Finding defconfig ?

I am trying to build the latest OOS 13 kernel .
The source I am working with is https://github.com/OnePlusOSS/android_kernel_oneplus_sm8250/tree/oneplus/sm8250_t_13.0.0_op8
In the past , i've built for Samsung and Lenovo devices , although I am unsure of a few things with our oneplus8t
Which defconfig file should I be using? as I do not see a kebab config within the root directory of android_kernel_oneplus_sm8250 or arch/arm64/configs/
Google has helped , but not too much material on building OOS kernels
What is the difference between a OOS kernel and AOSP kernel ? Would I be able to take a commit from AOSP and apply to my OOS ?
Appreciate any insight , and hope to be able to release a kernel soon!
SOLUTION
Backed up my boot.img with ex-kernel manager . Brought the boot.img to my build folder. Extracted defconfig with extract-ikconfig
Hey Dude I'm on oos11..i wanna compile a new kernel..which debconf to use.. the one in the vendors or what? Kona-perf.debconf?
Please help me which debconf to use for OnePlus 8
@hightech316 any luck on building the custom kernel yet?
